I think if the tier list is not just based on result but includes creator’s speculation and analysis, it def would be more helpful and valuable. It’s a tier list not a usage list hhh
Yes , what I meant to say , you have to pick those 1-2 proven hard hitters to base team around that But then for remaining slots its better to pick mons that fit your requirement. Lot of people tend to drop mons that are not a S mon or A mon but might be actually good for what they want to do. I used to do that often before so just putting it out there.
@@Normanxls The speculation part was done back in August. Now we have to update it based on how things have gone since then, aka the analysis part. We did that.
@tonnydolfing Yeah apparently I've gotten that comment a few. The original tier list didn't put it when I found it online. High B low A. You can use it on both tailwind and trick room teams and hitting ghosts just like Scrappy is valuable and doing SE damage to Archaludon and other steels is important.
I feel like araquanid is atleast a b- pokemon, his liquidations do tons of damage even in sun and wide guard can help it support the team by blocking spread moves like make it rain, Eruptions in sun or the average expanding mid team on ladder
I think chomp has a chance to enter the A tier but speed is everything and in a meta where fighting types are prevalent, a ghost type not named gholdengo is strong ~
40:15 Levitate Bronzong effortlessly walls Bloodmoon Ursaluna and Dragonite, two of the strongest in the current format and can put them to sleep with Hypnosis (if it lands) buying you a turn or two for your teammates to KO them.
Thank you for the video. Amazing tier list. May I please ask for your advice? Right now I play a trick room team: Ursaluna Blood moon Farigiraf Amonguss Incineroar Tyranitar I was using primarina and changed her for clawitzer (trying to cook, the little guy hits really strong, but it’s not bulky enough) so I’m looking something to replace it. My question is: in you opinion, which pokemon should take the sixth spot? Thank you in advance for your time.
@@CloverBells oh didn’t mean that it should be used. just meant that scyther’s been able to use eviolite since scizor came out in gen 2. or whenever eviolite was introduced bc it was probably after gen 2

The tier list is based on results...
You can still get creative and make teams using any mon including those from lower tiers
I mean of course, but just like we learn in school, if the data & evidence doesn't support the claim, we can't defend ourselves

@@RacerBeastCSR2 exactly. That's the difference~
You did a great job with the initial tier list.
You were one of the few who didn't doubt incin either. Thats a huge feather in your cap
of course - it has a lot going for it
Thanks for watching, all! What do you think about our updates to the tier list? Do you think we missed something? Let me know in the comments!
Bloodmoon Ursaluna is not on the list. Where would you put it and why?
@tonnydolfing Yeah apparently I've gotten that comment a few. The original tier list didn't put it when I found it online. High B low A. Where is best boy blood moon
somehow this tier list missed him. A tier / high B. Quite strong!
Let the arguments begin!
Regarding incin its also just that unlike the legendaries a lot of the more standard mons are able to run defiant which lowers the value of intim
Yup, and there's more special attackers this format.
I feel like araquanid is atleast a b- pokemon, his liquidations do tons of damage even in sun and wide guard can help it support the team by blocking spread moves like make it rain, Eruptions in sun or the average expanding mid team on ladder
Yes but you only see it on a trick room squad specifically.
@@CloverBells I like using substitute wide guard leech life and liquidation on mine and just bring it since he's so good against most trickroom teams
@@CloverBellshis special bulk is so good he doesn’t need speed to do damage
@@noahthecrazy1632 the damage is not the problem.
imo garchomp is stronger than dragapult atm despite being slower, cuz non trick room team like to have a ground type slot

Curious question why is mimikyu in D tier?
Hasn't seen play in Scarlet & Violet honestly. Tell me what it does that the other trick room setters can't do and you'll see why~
Might’ve missed it but thoughts on Mienshao? Fast inner focus fake out user with CC, Knock off and Ice spinner for the rillabooms/chomps/indeedees
Its on there.
For what its worth u only need 129 to out pace timid max speed pelliper so u could drop electabuzz down to 32/28 speed
We love speed creeping. It's better because it keeps the even numbers here also in the bulk
You should do a video talking about PASRS
I had an idea for that. Stay tuned.
It is weird to see that at least based on Baltimore you were right to not have bm ursa anywhere up in the upper half did not expect it to be absent
The tier list didn't have it and I forgot to add it in LMAO. I would put it in high B tier or a low A
40:15 Levitate Bronzong effortlessly walls Bloodmoon Ursaluna and Dragonite, two of the strongest in the current format and can put them to sleep with Hypnosis (if it lands) buying you a turn or two for your teammates to KO them.
That's what we said before which is why we had it higher last month. Unfortunately that wasn't enough to merit usage so we had to drop it down.
theif on scyther is in case it gets knocked off?
yup!
I'm surprised Basculigion-F isn't on the B or A tier, it's a really good sweep
the other one is very much the better one
Thank you for the video. Amazing tier list. May I please ask for your advice?
Right now I play a trick room team:
Ursaluna Blood moon
Farigiraf
Amonguss
Incineroar
Tyranitar
I was using primarina and changed her for clawitzer (trying to cook, the little guy hits really strong, but it’s not bulky enough) so I’m looking something to replace it.
My question is: in you opinion, which pokemon should take the sixth spot?
Thank you in advance for your time.
flamigo and gholdengo
@@CloverBells I really appreciate your help.
ribombee should be higher than D
I missed it. Too many mons on the screen. Should have been C tier.
You might have had kilowattrel higher cause it gets competitive
Yes that was my reasoning. And it's a niche tailwind setter. I was "hopeful" 🤣
“[scyther] get’s an evolution now” i get kleavor is relatively new but scizor kinda been here lol
hasn't been used this Regulation - doesn't do enough
@@CloverBells oh didn’t mean that it should be used. just meant that scyther’s been able to use eviolite since scizor came out in gen 2. or whenever eviolite was introduced bc it was probably after gen 2
i was also just joking. thanks for the tier list btw!
@@kvnbrrn thats right!
this is an excellent list!
thank you!
Not moving Weezing after Baltimore is wild
You can't. Like it was fine on Wolfes team but outside of that where else has it done anything. Niche doesn't mean bad - it means it's very specific.
The ursaluna blood
high B low A
Flamigo?
hes on there, we covered him.
Mimikyu?
No good right now
@@CloverBells sadge, one of my fav mons :(
@xzxx1xzx yeah man maybe 1 day it'll be okay in competitive again
Hisui decidueye should be higher i think
maus up, dondo and tatsugiri down
We had it higher a month ago. We brought it down now. It hasn't done much since August and the Flamigo looks like the better Scrappy user
@@CloverBells yeh okay yeh i agree about hisui bird but wb maus? no a+?
@@DoggoZyDingle It is in the A tier. It's there.
This does garg justice
I need it to do more
@@CloverBells I will do it

Im sorry, but rotom wash being in niche is insane. A tier pokemon no less.
It doesn't do enough to merit that high of a tier. Other options are much better for the meta. Look at the tournament results. They prove that.
