One of the best rig rundowns ever! Love to see her totally geeking out on her gear and she knows her craft, so awesome. This was a ton of fun to watch! Nicely done PG crew.
The cool thing about PG rig rundowns is that I’m often introduced to such great artists who I was previously not aware of. Larkin Poe and now Lindsay Ell are two that spring to mind most recently.
I love my 64 melody maker , what gets me is the feel of the neck is so much better than my les paul. Its also the oldest guitar in my arsenal. I dont think any of my strats are stock I get bored with tone so easy I'm constantly changing the pups.
PG: What type of system does she use to play backing tracks, and what elements are on those tracks? There is that awkward moment when she needs to run to the mic, before those supporting vocals start playing.
Um… I’m going to download her album after this song. It’s great. 😊 It’s more than her voice, she has the kind of sound that all masters of the Stratocaster have. I don’t think it’s all Klon.
I don’t know who she is but she’s cute and plays the Silver Sky SE live so she’s cool. I own the Evergreen SE and I love it as well. Smart talented young lady 😘
John is such a goofball but I love it 😂 the way she was talking about the silver sky SE was like it was Harley Benton type price! That’s still a $900 guitar not what I’d say is a beginner guitar but they are nice
Lindsay Ell Ceriatone is pronounced "Che-riatone". Ceria means happy in Malay. Anyways proud to have someone like her using my countries own brand. It doesnt really matter if how she pronounce it.
I think it also keeps the cost of touring down for artists. No need to pay a backing guitarist and keys and the associated costs of hotels, flights, equipment transport etc
Nice rig! Not keen on the backing track live as it has no groove, and cabs are facing the wrong way (and sound like they are too). People want to groove and have their heads blown off live.
As for the backwards cabs, the venue she's in might require bands to not go above a certain dB or SPL. Maybe the venue has some dodgy acoustics as well, so turning the cabs around (kind of) isolates them from other noise on stage so FoH can get a clean(er) signal. I used to have a Dr. Z Maz 18 with a 2x12 cab and at many venues had to turn the cab around to avoid blowing people away (in a bad way) in the first few feet from the stage.
We filmed in a tight rehearsal room inside SIR Studios so I'm sure the cabs were turned around not to blast the band while practicing or our team while filming. Thanks for watching!
Considering how many players strap their guitar low like that you'd think this dude would be making this condescending comment all the time but of course he's not, no one does. When's the last time you saw a comment criticizing strap length? Seriously. Then the backhanded compliment calling her a "good basic player", can you imagine this punk talking to his daughter? Do incels have kids?
Fun to watch. She might love Washburn N4. Or Prince cloud guitar. Or any guitar Prince played, Something that is made a bit smaller for us small folk. Cos she is tiny tiny tiny, Wonder if anyone has thrown her some smaller guitars to try out, Im bigger than her, Thinking I need a smaller guitar

Lindsey is the real deal and one seriously hard working artist. People are a little late to the party, but this one is worth a listen.

I love my 62 melody maker. Simple and great rock guitar that sounds like nothing else to me.

She has improved she's added some bluesy leads and hybrid picking. Way too, go lindsay 💪

Solid drummer

Great interview as always! I am just getting lost in all this effects pedals........
Please do a Muse rig rundown!!! ❤
Crank the amps and turn the speakers backwards so it doesn’t cut the audience’s heads off. That’s a pro move right there.
¡Qué encanto de criatura! ¡Y qué gran artista!
I like when bands actually play live.
Good for you.
@@mattmorris2867 Thanks. I know.
She’s amazing! No Gran Hechicero but she’s great!
She is super cool
Ceriatone amps rawk! 🤟
Still a analog girl at heart though... great stuff

Lindsay Ell is SAF!
Good rig rundown but um, John... mic check 1, 2, 1, 2...
This girl is so wholesome it's annoying.
I love lindsay, she is like a twin version of Keith Urban but overall cool
Super...
Chub
John Bohlinger is the best

Backing tracks everywhere you turn now, is this really what paying audience members have grown accustomed to?
I think it also keeps the cost of touring down for artists. No need to pay a backing guitarist and keys and the associated costs of hotels, flights, equipment transport etc
Intro song sounds like lip syncing and/ or a lot of backing tracks. Either way, the music sounded stale and fake
Backwards ? Just Like America Today ?
Nice rig! Not keen on the backing track live as it has no groove, and cabs are facing the wrong way (and sound like they are too).

@@jnh73 thats what tech21 flyrig is for.. xlr out direct to mixer... ditch the cab's
Just wished she knew it’s pronounced “cherry-a-tone.”
Lindsay lose your ego and get a mirage compressor!
nice guitar, no money for pants
She is fun size
what size is that
Do you love strats? Are you sure you love Strats? 9’s are not flimsy. It is in your head.
Too bad the business passed her over
Focus on singing...God bless...
She doesn't look her age!!... very nice looking
Lol shes only 34 dude
Some parts of the country 34 looks like 54.
@@xb5883 i wouldn't say no if it was offered
too thirsty, desperate old dudes
BLACKED
Are you talking about porn?
John you should tell her to raise her guitar up ? Don’t wear it so low ! She’s a good basic player.
She can wear it wherever she wants and however she feels comfortable
He should also tell her to smile more.
