    I have watched all of your videos on this job with interest. Your calmness, patience and persistence to get things right is just awesome. I live in Perth WA and have a van exactly like this sitting to be converted. I like your design very much & will appreciate it very much if you could possibly share the electrical / plumbing diagrams and the measurements of the cabinet works you put in your project. Cheers

    Fabulous to see how all of the pieces fit together and how you worked it all out and made it work. I was watching in admiration and horror - admiring your work and convinced I won't be able to do it when it's time to refit our Hiace. It's such a fiddly and meticulous job, and you're both brilliant. The end result is practical and beautiful. Really well done!

      Ah thank you very much. It’s probably a lot simpler than we make it look 😅 And it’s quite dramatic when the smallest mistake sends water gushing everywhere, but because it is water it means it’s relatively easy to troubleshoot - see a leak, fix it! Completely different to electrical stuff where it’s harder to find a fault. We’re sure you’ll be able to do it 🙌😁

    Guys, I'm following all the camperization of your little house. I like your calm when dealing with problems. I congratulate you on your tenacity, for your skills in the work. Doing everything alone is not for everyone. Great.
    See you next video👍

      Thank you 😊 We were definitely a little stressed but don’t think it’s possible to build a water system without leaks so you just gotta roll with it 🤣

      It was such a big feeling of accomplishment when we felt that first bit of hot water 🤗 Sarah’s doing great, thanks for asking 😀

    Well done you two, plumbing is so frustrating and stressful but fair play to you two as always you came through the van is coming together and is looking great take care.

    • @TheWholeWorldorNothing
      @TheWholeWorldorNothing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! Yeah it’s such a tough one because the only way to know you have a leak is when there’s already water streaming out of it 🤣

    • @sasmicky71
      @sasmicky71 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is a way to test the pipe work firstly with a air test .just blow up to 2 bar or 30 psi with a gauge on the other end if it drops thay is a leak.

    • @sasmicky71

      Still a good job with posable 50 or 60 joints with only 4 leaks I think that is not bad will done young man

    I enjoy how you work through your problems so logically and with practicality always in mind. And, as noted by others, with a calm, cool, collected approach. Fabulous work! YAM xx

    Hi, can I ask, is there a reason you guys used 12mm pipe instead of say 15mm?

  • @katiehockey6587

    Hi I’m using the same shower and having real trouble with leaks where the shower actually fits to the s connectors-should there be any washers or olives in them??

  • @TheVanderfulLife

    Do you waste a few litres of water till the hot water comes through on the shower or brave the cold as it comes out til it ends up warm?

    • @TheWholeWorldorNothing
      @TheWholeWorldorNothing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We run it through, yes, but fortunately it’s nowhere near a few litres that’s wasted. The hot water comes through really quickly, guess it’s only roughly 3 metres of 8mm pipe from the heater to the shower so it’s literally about 10 seconds. Will try to remember to measure exactly how much tomorrow and let you know!

      @@TheWholeWorldorNothing Very good point, not like a house with lengths of pipes! As always a very good video:)

    • @TheWholeWorldorNothing
      @TheWholeWorldorNothing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you 😊 Yeah exactly, not like a house system that pipes it all over the place - just measured and it’s around 300mls before it gets hot so not much at all 😀

      That extra foot or so makes a massive difference I’d imagine, yeah! People that are able to have their beds width ways must have an absolute tonne of space to play with 😅
