:) where to take that mid head strap which is connected under gopro mount? i found camera pretty heavy for running around, need to time to get use to it but strp would help for sure
Very informative video. This isn't really on topic to the video but having a tiny mirror to check your camera during games to make sure its clean and still recording is a life saver. Also, a good alternative to the piece between the GoPro and the lens is a small piece of cardboard or foam taped on.
First off, your videos ROCK!! I'm a big fan. Anyways I have been playing paintball and just recently purchased a GoPro. I never thought of mounting the camera like that. That is a very good idea. The way I did it is very ghetto which includes screws, JB weld and duct tape. Ghetto but hey, it works. LOL. Also I had it mounted on the side of the mask, something I'm going to rectify. Not sure if you'll actually read this comment, but I want to say THANKS! Keep on keeping on.
Great timing. I just got a GoPro style cam to replace my Contour Roam2 and have been trying to figure out how you mounted yours. Having a centered cam makes gameplay much nice to watch vs having a cam mounted to one side of the mask
very cool, got some of these mounts few days earlier, good to know i was on the right way :D I see there is top strap which goes over the head, connected to the same gopro mount.. >>where to get this strap??
I was thinking about doing this myself. I play xball. If I do this on my lens am I just gonna constantly record my loader? I see you turning the gun sideways to shoot. Is that what you have to do to not get the loader in the way?
Bro!!! I started and used the COD camera too that's awesome. I just didn't upload videos. I started after high school in 2014. Crazy how time flys... hope to see you at super game oregon!
I see your using constant power to the camera. Do you have the battery removed? I have been thinking about getting the gopro mini, mainly that it do not got any screens to damage. Looking to replace my old currently running sony action cam(10 years) But I'm worried about the recording time of the new generations of gopro with over heating after 15-30min. But I have heared that if they are connected to power they last longer.
@@NightmarePB Maybe its a gopro 10 and 11 problem, at least thats where i have mainly read that people have overheating issues. Having a camera that stopes recording after 15min is a big issue, espesialy as your not guaranted that it actualy saves the recording when it shuts down due to over heating. But when im going to buy a new camera im not that tempted to buy an older variant with "worse" specs for the same price as a new gen costs. (The older ones have not gone down in price here if you can find one) Maybe i just need to see what they push out on the 12. I know they state that the overheating is only when its not being used as intended, (lots of wind and cool envirments. But when playing in the woods you can alwas end up staying in one spot for a longer duration, and using any form of protection will prevent the air cooling it down resulting in overheating. At least its nice to hear that the older ones do not have that issue, especialy the 9, as if im not mistaken on the 8 they removed the posibility of changing the lense. which was brougth back to the 9 again. (got to have the posibilities of repairs. Had 2 dive houses broken back in the day when i used the gopro 3 due to hits. Got to protect them
You're honestly using the wrong GoPro that GoPro that you have is so giant. They make a smaller GoPro hero session I believe is what it's called and it's literally cube and you can wedge it in between the lenses where your nose goes on the EVS that's what I do. I learned it from paintball ruin my life
The problem would be to actually get the session. It's been out of production for the last 5-6 years or something. And with the new mini they got, that is not much smaller than standard. But at least it don't got any screens that can get shot up.

I love the mirror idea Phantom!
Your videos inspired me to do my own pb videos. Very informative video nightmare!
Where did you get the top strap from ?
Nice for scenario play
Also we gotta give credit to one of the OG's Alabasterslim for the inspiration of this camera mount.
💯
actually in this moment i was watching for GoPro Mounts on TH-cam and now your Video, thats amazing xD
Thanks!!
sick video bro!! im really thinking of changing my camera set up to this one day
You should!
Where did you get the middle strap? I can't seem to find one that looks as clean as your setup.
Thanks man! The strap came with the exfog.

I always read all comments on my channel, thank you so much for the love and support!
I have used drift camera when I was playing.
Thank you so much bro. I have wanted to get into recording paintball and i very much needed this
Glad I could help!
Nice vid. Can we get a little more info on the top strap? Looks like jts just zip tied to the gopro mount?
You got it! It's a strap that came with the ExFog. I strapped it from the back of the headband to the gopro mount on the front using a zip tie.
Great timing. I just got a GoPro style cam to replace my Contour Roam2 and have been trying to figure out how you mounted yours. Having a centered cam makes gameplay much nice to watch vs having a cam mounted to one side of the mask
Great to hear!
Good video. I bought few the same bits before came across vid but good to know was on right track 👍🏻
Good to hear!
Can you add the link for the silicon patches that you got from Amazon?
None of my patches are from Amazon...
@@NightmarePBwill you share where you got the patches please. Thanks in advance!
Noice!!! Now if you ever feel like sharing those Pro Tune settings….. I think you’d get a lot of airsoft AND paint ballers hitting that video. 😎🔥🔥
A magician never reveals their tricks ;)
Best case for a gopro so I don't have to worry about the lens shattering with each hit?
love the vid any suggestions on which gopro to get looking to get one
Hero 11 looks nice!
very cool, got some of these mounts few days earlier, good to know i was on the right way :D I see there is top strap which goes over the head, connected to the same gopro mount.. >>where to get this strap??
ok i see now : The strap came with the exfog.
And the exfog is worth it!
awesome was thinking of doing this and now i know how. is there a way to mount a side camera on the EVS?
I haven't seen a way yet.
Do you have to buy the thumbscrews separate? If so, what size? They have a 45mm and a 35mm option on the link you provided.
Yeah you'd have to buy them separately my friend.
where did you get that top strap for your mask to support the weight?
It comes with the Exfog system.
I was thinking about doing this myself. I play xball. If I do this on my lens am I just gonna constantly record my loader? I see you turning the gun sideways to shoot. Is that what you have to do to not get the loader in the way?
Yeah pretty much. If I use a hopper I'm always tilting it to the left.
@NightmarePB Dam okay. I was excited to try this lol.
Haven’t really used a gopro before but looking into getting one but isnt the camera (and all footage) now upside down from mounting it that way?
Nope, the newer GoPro's can automatically flip the footage.
Bro!!! I started and used the COD camera too that's awesome. I just didn't upload videos. I started after high school in 2014. Crazy how time flys... hope to see you at super game oregon!
That CoD cam is what started this addiction! I sadly can't make it to SuperGame due to work 😞
GoPro case IS enough to protect the camera playing paintball or airsoft?
Depends on where it gets hit. The lends or screen will shatter with a hit.
Can you give a link to those gopro arm links? I've been searching but can't find the one you're using.
I just pinned them!
Do u use a plastic protection case when playing paintball?
Sometimes, not all of the time though.
Great video! Do you have a link for the silicone patches?
I have the same question.
Totally sold out right now :(
@@NightmarePBcould you send a link asap
Great help, thanks.
My pleasure!

I'm using the Hero9 and it hasn't over heated yet. I only just started using the external battery last year. I do keep a berry inside of the gopro.

Hey I was able to mount my Insta360 go3 inside my mask so it doesn’t get shot
What battery pack do you have? And how are attatcing ut to your mask
It's an Anker but I can't remember the size. I use industrial plastic hook and loop from 3M.
What head strap is he using for the top of the mask ?
The one that came with the ExFog system.
Does your setup work for the go pro 11?
It does!
Do you have the link to the silicone patch?
Sold out buddy 😞
wouldn't the underwater case mess with the audio?
I meant to add this in, but yeah you need to either use the skeleton back door or drill holes where the mics are.
The mounts that go in front of the mouth area are better
enjoy heavy breathing sounds thruout your whole videos
@AbrakadaBaris You're gonna head that regardless
I always play with a Case, my Team and I destroy to much go pros without a Case 😂
Gotta protect them gopros!
Thanks for the info - super helpful. What did you end up using for that over the top strap?
That was a T strap that came with my ExFog System.
All the shots of him all I can notice is That his beard has grown back
RIGHT?!
Ist jede paintballmaske für Airsoft geeignet möchte mir eine für 40€kaufen?
I wondered how people hung their GoPros like that.
so no need for the thumbscrews?

Sessions are of much lower picture quality. I have two of them.
DJI because it doesn't overheat and shut down and doesn't have ******** microphone.
My GoPro's have always performed well.
bro put it 3 inches away and said the first one’s wrong 😭😭😭
Man got 800 views in 8 hrs
That's generally how a lot of pb how-to / review videos perform on YT.
