Good to see you again! The Sheldon is a nice score especially with the power feed. Looking forward to seeing the next video, hope you show the R. K. Leblond drill press.
Hot D*mn! 🔥 You're back. You have a bunch of catching up to do Dude. Whenever you can get around to it, I request an update on the R K LeBlond drill press rebuild - we were left hanging. 😄
Beautiful mill. Please be aware that even thought they are the same size as wheel bearings, there are different precision grades that will affect the spindle accuracy.
Yes definitely. I got decent bearings that I’m happy with. I could have spent more than I did for the whole machine which I wasn’t going to do. Thanks for watching!
Welcome back ! Looking forward to more of your content. You always do a great job of explaining what you are doing. Very easy for beginners to follow along.
Great Work!! Could you Please tell us what paint you used on your Sheldon Mill Restoration? Mine is due for a complete overhaul and your video Inspired me ,but without knowing that brand/color I'm reluctant to start. Thanks!
I recently purchased this same Sheldon mill from a friend of mine that restored it 10s of years ago. My first set of V-belts got hot and failed on my first project. Hopefully because they were old. Mine are 1" wide by 38" (outside circumference)? Can you tell me if this is the correct size? Is there a place you can recommend to purchase them?
@@BuildFixCreate Thank you so much! Beautiful work you did on that machine! Thanks for sharing. Your video is the only one I have seen on one of these mills.
@Build Fix Create looking at the 5vx400 belt, it is a cogged v-belt. Is this the type you used? It looks as though all my original belts are the straight v-belt type, no coggs on them. I just wanted to make sure before I buy it.
Good to see you back to making videos. The mill looks great!
Thanks!
Sweet little milling machines.
Always enjoy your videos! Happy to see you back. Looking forward to more! Cheers!
Thanks!

Nice work on the restoration. That's a nice size mill for the home shop. Looking forward to seeing some more.
Nice to see you back, with such a cute restauration. I'm very envious, a small mill like one this would look so good in my little workshop.,
So great to see you back!!! Awesome video!
That will be a handy addition to you shop when done. Hope to see you make some projects with it .

Nice video what is the weight and dimensions?

I am restoring the same mill. Do you know the size of V-Belts you got for this machine? Mine were all dry rotted. Probably the original belts!
Lower belt is a BX41. Middle is a 5VX 400. Upper belts are 4L 440. That’s just what I found that worked
