      Especially if they refuse to listen to her. This pretty much looks like sister wanted an excuse to get rid of OP, in which case there was no reason for her to ever help sister, let her and the rest of the family sink. Stay the f away from them, you owe none of them anything. Also when talking with the BIL, why in this day and age didn't she record all her conversions with him?

    I would have said, "Fine, I'll come back...for 50.1% of the company. Otherwise, I'll do my best to ensure you get 100% of nothing, as I'll put your company out of business."

      Your missing a huge point. Odds are the soon to be ex-husband is going to own 50% of the company after the divorce. Until the sister buys his share out, so there is no 50.1% to give.

    OP, I don't think I could have ever forgiven my sister. Just saying, after listening to your story. That bond is so sacred, and she shattered it into a million pieces. You are a better person than me. It would take A LOT to forgive that kind of humiliation and deception. I don't understand the part where she wouldn't let you explain completely. Sisters listen to each other and she didn't even let you explain. As for your extended family, you know who really cares about you and who does not. I personally could not go back. I don't know if I could recover from your sister's words. I would disown my sister. Sorry OP, I don't agree with all that you did. Too painful. OP, once that trust is broken with your sister, I don't think you will get it back. It's ALWAYS going to be in the back of your mind. It would be mine. SMH

    Anyone who won't even listen is a fool. In this case, OP's sister was a double fool for believing her husband without any particular reason to and for not at least listening to her own sister -- multiple times: Nope! Nope! Not listening.
    However, I think OP was also a fool for going back for 10 more years of abuse.
    Family... they're so supportive....

    • @robertx8020
      @robertx8020 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      So if someone shows your photos (proof) that someone is 'doing x' you should ignore it?
      So what WOULD have been convincing evidence for you?
      And try to answer w/o using the power of hgindsight!
      e.g. if someone showed you pictures of your partner b*nging someone, would you ignore them and first hear your partner out?
      Be honnest!
      She had seen photos about her sister handing over stuff to their rivals and sitting at a table with those rivals
      Even in a court of law evidence like that would be pretty bad (for the accused)

    • @theplaintech
      @theplaintech 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@robertx8020 I personally would have at least listened to the 'accused' because in these days of photoshop and scammed evidence, it's worthwhile to at least hear the other side. No, I wouldn't accept this 'proof' without question -- particularly if I had known the person for a very long time and they had a stellar track record.
      Now be honest: Are the kind of person that makes snap judgments to convict a person without having all the evidence you can get? Especially when the stakes are high?
      If I were a betting man, which I am not, I'd bet you would... maybe... I'd need to hear more from you just to be sure....
