Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz - World 4: Detritus Desert

This world has the best boss and one of the best stages in the game.
Ahhh, Banana Blitz. The most controversial game in the franchise. While I personally enjoy it, most people don't because of the new designs, new mechanics (such as jumping and bosses) and of course, the crappy motion controls. Eventually, this game got a remake in 2019, which was much needed for this game.

I think this is one of few cases where I prefer the Touch & Go original track to the Banana Blitz remix. Don't get me wrong the remix is fantastic, but I just don't particularly like the rock guitars.

You know what after watching 4 worlds back to back this game does better than some give credit, however, I think it is a C- game in a series that started with two S's, and both banana and adventure are C- games. Both had potential but miss too much to truly be good. I give deluxe a B overall mainly due to how shoddy the ps2 port is. Jr. gets a C+ because even if it is technically worse than adventure or banana blitz it was hard to make monkey ball work on the GBA and it does an okay job of playing a game that is more than the system should be asked to take on. As for the n-gage version of super monkey ball 1 easily the worst super monkey ball game I have ever seen so F maybe even an F-. I will give the flash games a D as they like the GBA try too much at times but as flash particularly back when super monkey ball two was new was quite limiting, however, that adventure flash game seems cursed. That is my rating of the games so far.

@@SuperMonkeyCherrim I did not see touch and roll but I will see it and add it. Though I did miss the arcade version which is also an S, Touch and roll seems like a B game. I watched some of your videos on it just now. there we go all the games for the time being rated.

I feel like people are overly harsh with post-SMB2/Deluxe games in the series.
