Cool video. I've been to Cambodia three times (2xs flying and once by bus). It's an amazing place and definitely as worth a trip as Thialand and Vietnam are. The food is fantastic while being different and unique from Thai and Vietnamese food. Angkor Wat (and my favorite, Bayonne) should be on everyone's bucket list!

Talk about the safety in Cambodia, you have been mentioned bag grabbing from tuk tuk and pocket picking. You have spent one moth in Cambodia, do you have any experience regarding the bag grabbing and pocket picking ? For me I went to Cambodia a million time and I never ever haven’t have those experiences. I think it’s time for those tourists need to stop bad mouthing about Cambodia and gave Cambodian a bad name. I personally got robbed in a brought day in Bangkok Thailand and you tell me how safe is Thailand?

Well, ethics cleansing in Cambodia happened many times over and this still affected a country development as indicated on your video. Unless Cambodia changed from within then it will be hard to understand the cross road of their cultural and beings.
Since towards the end of 1978 visiting through help Aids Organization till now we still can’t really grasped the direction of authenticity or finding the gems in Cambodia that stand out - particularly from Tourism perspective. Though the infrastructure has improved and there are still of the beaten track waiting to be discovered, but in reality Cambodia is not a country for those seeking an all rounded happy holiday experienced on a two or three week short holiday.
You are - Especially on point about Chinese visitors who is now the new boss taking over Cambodia. Recently - Under Vietnam political control doesn’t help the real suffering Cambodian locals in their freedom rights. The rising problem of land ownership and legal affairs for half of the natives Cambodian are at disadvantage.
Then on top = being heavily influenced by the Thai culture and traditions heritage to the point of mimicking Thailand selling point is undoubtedly doing more harm than good and devaluing real Cambodian values a lot more than it used to be.
For example = Why would pad Thai, hor mhok or armok, Tom yum and many dishes become authentic traditional Cambodian food. Why Thailand traditional Loy kratong November water festival has now been claimed to represent Cambodia festive selling point. The hideous claiming acts from their neighboring Vietnam, Lao, Thailand and other nations are being added on to Cambodian originality list goes up in numbers. This is not only baffling but the trace of claiming propaganda started to buried deep into new Cambodia generations. In many scenarios it gets to the extent that young Cambodian became very defensive characteristically when such topics on the subject matter surfaced.
Visiting Angkor temple thirty six years ago is not thing of the same in experience you’ll get today. No video footage, no history talked whether it was created and owned by the Hindu or the site was under Siam or Thailand assets until the French took over or older religious monuments similar to this existing in many Southeast Asia and many more prohibited rules put on just for a simple discussion.
Today as standing - economy oppression colonialism under the new Chinese invasion investment have also left Cambodia with very little essence of who they truly are and possibly become economically powerless as a country. Although, it isn’t all the French fault in destroying What we known as indochina, however, We will most likely see the turning point of Cambodia within a coming decades.
For now = The only group who might suit Cambodia is backpackers who have more time on their hand to travel around. We enjoyed listening to your content and valued your information honesty on the important poverty fact about Cambodia.
This will help in shading the light on expectations level for those new comers when visiting. For many, child Abused, depressing history, unhygienic and high tourism scammers happening right before their eyes is somewhat…emotionally hard to digest. Experiencing Cambodia is more of an education exploration rather than a treasure of beautiful holiday journey memoir.

Hi, 🐥🐦🐥🐦🦩🦩May I share the most important news you will ever hear? God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus Christ(Y'shua Ha' Mashiach) from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. He was put into a tomb for 3 days, and then Abba Father raised Jesus to life and He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must all sincerely receive Jesus to be a true child of God. It says in John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Will you genuinely believe on Christ Jesus and truly receive Him today, before it is too late?
