I've heard a lot about the actual story of Yasuke and his story would make a good movie, but he wasn't a Samurai in fact it sounds more like he was the Japanese equivalent of a Squire/muscle/bodyguard against riffraff.

UBI Soft initially introduced the story as being based on historical facts and that the main character was Yasuke, a famous legendary samurai in history. It's ridiculous. In Japan, there are a great many historical documents from the Sengoku period that remain, and it is hard to imagine that there are no records of military commanders who performed notable feats. They arbitrarily falsified history for the political correctness they are promoting. If we allow this, it's obvious that next they will start complaining about the lack of black people in Japanese content. We can never forgive this. Just because the developers have trouble differentiating between various Japanese men doesn't mean someone who grew up in that culture would feel the same.
