Honestly loving your videos. Working as a porter, I'm tired of making barely money on farm trucks that take 2 days to detail, so I'm thinking of starting my own side business until I get enough of a customer base to do it full time. I hope I win!

I have thought about doing this because I love cleaning up vehicles and caring for vehicles. The problem is I live in the Northeast, so there will not be much business in the winter unless I had some type of indoor location like the detailing businesses in my area. I haven't heard of mobile service in my area at all which is why I thought of it.
One idea I have thought about, which really is a different business idea is pressure washing. Of course that cannot be done in freezing temperatures either.
@rocknjock You seem to have some solid points, although if you say there aren’t mobile detailers out there I think it screams opportunity for you (non winter time of course) but it’s definitely something you should look into - introducing a new service to the general audience down there, “why go to the car wash, when we can come to your driveway” Pressure washing can also be one your services offered, therefore you are reaching potential customers and offering two different services.
i got a couple questions. so when you arrive at the customers house, do you use their water/electricity or do u use ur own. do u ask them if you can use their water/electricity? how does it work.
Mazin we actually carry a water tank as well as a generator in our van so we don’t ask the customer for water or power.
This guy is so clean and organized. He’s passionate at what he does. I would hire him. Keep up bro!

Like any other business it takes trial and error, it takes different types of ways of advertising to see what best works for you and what is giving you the best return.
Once you detail one customers vehicles, you can make sure to do an awesome job and ask the client to recommend you to any one in need of a good detail - word of mouth. (Repeat the process)
You can also start a social media page and attract people in your area.
GMB - google my business is also a good platform to gain customers who are looking for your specific service. Hope that helps!

It’s the same gun, you’re just switching the pressure tip to a foam cannon.

i worked in an express car wash before and well I always been interested in hand car wash I still would like to know what brand of the soap do you get? and also I HOPE I WIN
Miguel, any pH balance soap that is MEANT for washing cars will do job honestly. As long as you’re not using dawn dish soap you are good. For general recommendation though I like to also use Meguiars Gold Class - It is a great and affordable product that you can easily find in store or online.

Vic, thank you. I’d recommend you look into Ridgid’s 4.5 gallon or their 6 gallon portable electric air compressors. See which one best fits your needs, and go from there, hope that helps!

Hey 👋🏻 we actually do not but if you’re looking for DI water in the Miami area, check your nearest 3D detailing supplies store, they usually sell spot free water! Hope that helps.

The van was ready to work in terms of nothing was wrong with it, I just installed my setup on the inside and added the wrap on the exterior.

At what point do you believe someone should invest in there own detailing van also there own pressure washer and water source
It can depend, maybe you’d want to move on to the smaller things to the bigger purchases later, from a pressure washer, to a water tank and then a van. I’d say once you start seeing a positive flow of income coming in and you feel comfortable making these moves, it’s always a risk no doubt but you have to think about it long term, be realistic and in reality you just got to have a game plan! Hope that helps :)
Hello man, thanks for the vids. I would like to know so when you want to start cleaning, the generator stays inside the van, gets plugged to the extension cord, then you connect the other side of the cord to your water pump or vacuum yeah?
We connect our extension cord on to the generator than we extend the extension cord (the other end) all the way out to connect our vacuum when we are all finished up we put everything away and we connect the pressure washer which are next to each other in the van. Hope that helps.

Hey man nice video. I’m starting to do interior details because of you! Keep up the good work. But I do have to ask, what degree nozzle do you use? & what orifice? I recently bought a ryobi 1800 pressure washer and I bought some 40 degree nozzles with 2.0 orifice. and I’m not satisfied. Thank you in advance!
Thank you for the kind words! I actually use the 15 degree nozzle. I’ve found out it works best with electric pressure washers!
