Excited to see this back. For early game storage, I like to make several mortar and pestles and leave them on or near each work station. They hold WAY more than the early game storage containers. Keep up the awesome content.

This game is absolute beast. I was a fan of 7 days to die,previously of scum and now icarus...there's a free weekend on steam finishing tomorrow but I adore this game and I should buy this.
I saw the sponges in the water at the beginning. Just in case you aren't aware, you can harvest those and they are filled with clean (filtered) water. They can also be refilled like a waterskin, but they won't provide filtration other than the water that is initially in them when you harvest them. Great source of early clean water, and you can refill them at the basic tier 1 charcoal water filters until you can get a waterskin. Great vids btw, I've been really enjoying the roleplay direction you take. 😀 edit: the sponges are the thick green plants that stick up from the stoney areas at the river/lake floor
Ha! Nice to see you back on Icarus. I just returned myself a week or so ago, so much has changed, but it's still a great, fairly chill, survival game. They've added so much I had to relearn how to maker some stuff. Best of luck to ya Temreki.
Aww, your little Moa is so cute! I think I will like this game, when I get it. Building, exploring, and critters too! Looks really cool. The grouchy dude being replaced by an AI is a hoot, too.
Glad to see Icarus back on the channel! Loved the original series and hope to see how far the game has come these past few years. Also hoping you give Abiotic Factor another shot. Game has a lot of charm and the survival aspects are fantastic. The lore/story is pretty fleshed out at this point and it's become one of my new favourites. They've recently had their Crushing Depths update which added fishing.

Don't forget to look through your talents, there are a lot of QoL talents in there like extra ore when mining, less weight on wood and stone, as well as a necessary one, automatically put wood into your backpack when you chop it rather than having to pick it up.
Just wanted to say thank you for working on this. I love your content and I'm not a huge fan of the live streams. The quality of your editing and story telling is amazing and so I much prefer these. Moreover, it's also been about a year since I played Icarus and I've also wondered what the most busy developers on the planet have been up to. I just finished watching your Olympus series, and now rewatching the first two episodes on Prometheus. You have two options for gaining clean, filtered water outside of melting ice. In the Tier 1, if I remember correctly, there should be two different types of water purifiers. Basic water purifier that goes into water, and rain water purifier to collect and purify rain water. Both hold only 5.0L of clean water, so they are very small. And they are also fuelled by charcoal. Basic water purifier seems to be slightly bugged though, considering that when I tried to place it into water it seemed to be stuck on my head somehow? And when I finally managed to actually get into water, I was stuck inside it and had to use unstuck to get out of it. I'm not sure if it's just me or if others have had same problem with it. Hopefully it gets fixed at some point in future if its indeed a bug and not just an issue on my end.
Legitimately just finished your fill 10 hour 55 min super cut of icarus and immediately saw you start this on orometheus in the same day what are the odds. That being did the waterfall means unlimited power with the water wheels, especially since you can swim up it. A good 5 of them and you're fully set, this way you won't need to only work in sunlight.
Played the crap outta this game with a couple a friends since closed beta, been 2 years...this series will be a nice primer for when I pick it back up! But 7 days is my baby. Embarrassment of riches with both of them adding major updates! also, more better kitties! and they can swim! hehe

I know the streams arent for everyone! But part of being a good all-around "content creator" includes livestreaming in my opinion. It's a skillset that I want to continue developing and getting Twitch Partner was a huge goal of mine. But it sure is nice to get back to work on a series!

Miasmic tools are the best! Try to get them as soon as possible. Good food and killing or gathering makes your tames lvl up faster.
