That's the Negotiator. The Mother's like 12 inches. Nice work! That's money. I'm thinking of trying my hand at it. I might mold it first. My friend is Joey Lanciotti and he makes some incredible baits!
Man, that is super nice! I'd be afraid to fish it, because with my luck, I'd get a snag and lose it on the first cast. Seriously though, I'd love to have something that nice in my tackle box. The best handmade lure I've seen so far.
I'll be honest, when you said you were going with a drip pattern I thought it was going to ruin the lure. Terrible foresight on my part. I can't believe how great it came out. I love it!
Fantastic work! How did you make your connection between the front and the rear section. Please show us how you did that. Very important to the action.
that’s awesome work I’ve been making my own for probably 10 years but I haven’t really got fully involved in it. I mean I want to make some more but I’m doing everything out of Balsawood and some broomstick handles and stuff like that the weighted word is what I’m honestly concentrating on because then you don’t have to add no white to it it’ll be like natural Weighted kinda. I just need to get airless spray rig. I need to know where you get all the mesh the different patterns and so forth and where do you buy the paints at and I need to get the clearcoat as well
Love your work looks mad . Would be cool if you could make a big square bill suspending crankbait that you can twitch and pursue for shallow water or shore based inpoundment cod . I'm thinking 3mt max . what do you think ?
nice roman made joey. i have the roman made negotiator n still use it, but not often. sweet glide mate. wats the length n weight Joey. congrats on the 1K.
@@fishingwithjollip nice size n weight for big flathead. interested in the glide for the up coming spring/summer. wen u have time mate messenger me with color range n price pls.
I’m getting into lure making and my lures aren’t consistent with there glides can anyone tell me when degree I should cut the joint area at and what would he used in this video?
Just some helpful tricks and advice from someone who has their own glidebait. Weigh each section separately with all the hardware, mark and start your joint cut 3/4 of the way while it has square sides before you start sanding and carving the bait. Still room for improvement as always but looks great none the less!🤘
All that work for nothing. 🤦♂️ you were supposed to seal the bait after you drilled the lead hole but before you added lead. You put naked wood in the water that’s not good
Just wondering how you figure there’s naked wood in the water. Once the lead is in and the primer and clear had covered the lead there’s no way water can enter the wood. Only way for this top happen is if your using a clear coat that’s not compatible with your other products and it peals or cracks. If your referring to when i testing it the lure os dried out before any primer goes on.
Turned out awesome and wicked paint job!
Cheers pal and thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching
looks so sick mate. that pectroral fin looks mint.

I would suggest using a angled block of wood and a handsaw to cut the joint when it is still square. Epic bait man!!
Cheers
I just prefer doing them in the bandsaw.
👍
@@TheArtisticAnglerI've been following u for a while now! That's great advice btw, just like Marling uses with the magnets!
Congrats on 1k

just a tip drill you eye with 2mm drill before cut out then eye is in same spot
Pretty bait. Any tips on what to do when a glide only turns one way. Hinges are nice and free and it sinks level.
Great lure…
Thanks
Nicely done. Trying to figure out how you attach the half's together? With a pin?

Hi mate
If you look back at the last lure build swimbait video it’s how’s the joint in more detail.
I love your content. Please give me more😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Tnx 4 sharing ❤
What size drill bit did you use for the line tie and hook hangers
I think it was 2 mm
That suits 1.1mm twisted wire fine
I'm not familiar with the wood you mentioned. What could we use in the US?
What fabric mesh or netting are you using? Great video, you are very talented.
Anything I can find mate.
Spotlight or any fabric shops normally have a good range
What gear ratio reel do you like for glide bait fishing also great video
I just use my 6.3 that I use for everything else mate

They float but are deadly around the gorge country
when did you add hooks and hardwhere no swim baits video's include that part.

Cheers mate.
I just buy them of a guy online.
Send me a em on Facebook and I’ll find his contact.
@Fishing with Jollip you got it. Thanks man!
Friend, what kind of wood do you use to make a bait layout?
Hi that’s jeleutong
Build some kingfish tuna lures 140- 160mm out of wood
Watch this space
you didn't video all the steps, that sucks. I wanted to see how you actually hinged both pieces together.
I’ll show it in another video mate.
😅

What machine was that, that made the bait steam?
Dude it was just hot lead (dropped out of the lead pot) being placed into the water to test buoyancy
