An example is that in Lot's story he was only saved because his uncle Abraham prayed to God for his life and family because he chose to live in that land of perdition. the angels were not afraid, on the contrary, they faced the men who made them blind and the end of him and his daughters was not good, which gave rise to two ancient peoples, the Moabites and Ammonites.
It's a story meant for Kids, can't explain everything as it is in Bible. Handling the things based on the audience is a wisdom. Pls understood Sir. You can talk with your wife/husband but you can't in the same way with kids.

Disobedience does have consequences. Its natural to feel compassion for those judged. I cannot imagine how God must feel to have to judge people. Jesus prayed - Father forgive them for they know not what they do & scipture tells us that its not God's will that 'any' should perish but that 'all' should come to repentance. But when people don't repent of sin or fall out of agreement with it, there will be judgment. God cannot go back on his word for his word is truth and it says that we reap what we sow.
