If you are not able to view the demo generator project after importing, follow below steps
Try going to Organization Settings -> Security -> Policies and turn on the Third-party application access via OAuth. Should do the trick.
Thank you so much @SaifeldinEid for sharing the details.
Just what I came looking for. Thanks
It's working thank u 😊
@@payalkushwaha6260 welcome
Thanks alot!
The way you explain things is amazing. I am understanding everything and using your course to learn more about devops and getting ready for az400. So much respect for you brother and its very generous to give a course of this quality out for free.
I always appreciate the feedback whether its good or bad. Bad feedback gives me a reason to work harder and improve the content quality. Good feedback brings a smile on my face and motivates me to keep pushing boundaries and keep publishing quality content. Thank you for taking out time and sharing the feedback ❤️
Thanks I am working on project using ADO and still I learned tons of new things like sprints iterations. Basic, scrum etc. project settings. Thanks a lot. Extremely helpful
Yes, there's always something to learn. Thank you for your feedback and for the kind words. I am glad it was helpful.
For me the Azure DevOps demo generator was not creating any project although I still got success notification, So I just enabled the "Third party application access via OAuth" (Navigation -Organization settings>security>Policies). Hope it helps to someone who faces same issue:)
Yes, that's the step we have to perform, I have already pinned a comment for this. Glad you figured it out
Excellent sir, thank you very much for detailed explanation.
Great explanation! Just one input: the format " As a [type of user], I want [need/action] so that [benefit]" is used for user stories and not acceptance criteria.
Thank you! Yeah it sometime depends upon the Product owner as this is pretty flexible format, that is why I mentioned that as an example but you can modify as per the needs.
Thanks Piyush for creating such a useful series. I just cleared AZ104 certification and wanted to learn Azure Devops, today i not only learnt Day 2 activities related to Azure Boards but I also had a hands on and all thetasks were completed. Thank You so much
Thank you for the wonderful feedback, I truly appreciate it. Good luck with rest of the videos as well.
Bro, you are the best. now because of you I can learn and become certified
Thank you so much for your feedback. This really means lot brother ❤️
Thanks Piyush For this series which I am eagerly waiting for and there is less content on TH-cam for this Topic
Thanks Again
Thank you Jignesh for the feedback, Yes, even I felt the same, that is the reason I decided to publish the content on Azure DevOps and make it available free of cost
Learnt so many New Things in ADO Board.... Thanks a lot 😊
Glad to hear that! Keep learning
thanks you so much now I am able to import the demo project
Awesome!

Thanks a ton, these words means a lot. Any improvements or suggestions to make it a better learning experience?>
Appreciate the hard work bro. What should be the best channel for queries, via comments or email? In case I have any and wanted to clarify.
Thank you for the kind words 😊 If it's a general query, you can comment here , if it's an issue you are facing, you can join our discord community and post there, The link is there in the description section.
Great video its worth to watch....thank you
Glad you think so! Thank you
I have a small confusion that's growing as we proceed. Every time you create a project using the Azure DevOps Demo Generator, you add a team.
Q1: Can you explain why you always add a team?
Q2: Would there be any problems if someone doesn't add a team?
Q3: Can we proceed without creating a team?
Hello, Yes, You don't have to create it everytime, I don't remember now why I did that 😂
@@TechTutorialswithPiyush 😆
Really great explanation,In azure boards place we can use jeera boards right?
Yes, definitely, it does the same thing

Thank you so much brother!
Great commitment
Thank you for your support!
It was really an informative video
Thank you so much! I am glad you found it helpful
@Piyush, why, I can't see Add Product Backlog Item option in board(feature). It show add user story and add test option only
Can you check the process type you are using, product backlog should come in Scrum and not part of the basic Azure board process.
Everythig is good except the zoom in zoom out, quite irritating, Thank you for great explanation and taking out time for editing and uploading
Thank you for the feedback. I will take care of the zoom, no one ever told me this so never really thought it would bug anyone but now that I have received the feedback, I will take care of it. Thank you. We learn something new every day :)
I agree with Rayyan, Frequent zoom is a pain to eyes. Came in to comment the same and observed there is already one and wanted to let you know the same.
Please avoid frequent zoom in zoom out
@@varmamurari thanks 👍 I don't do it anymore
sir i want to know one thing that is this azure devops full course(basic to advanced) if i completed this course am i ready for job applying s o can i apply for the jobs after completing this course
Replied on day3 video
In demo genarator it is asking organizational settings
Yes, you have to link your organization to the demo generator project. Follow the steps I have followed, check out the github repo as well for the screenshots and even after that if you are facing the issues, join our discord community and write the issue in help-az-devops channel.
i am trying to import demo projct from azure demo generator, it is showing successfull but demo project in not coming in devops portal
checkout the pinned comment
Do you have PDF copy's about the Azure training
I shared it over linkedin a couple of months back, you can check it out
boards seekhna zaruri hai kya ? to get a job?
Boards are mostly managed by Product Owners, scrum masters , program managers etc but as a DevOps/Developer/Ops/Cloud engineer you should be aware about all the concepts and know how to use it. Short answer to your question: You dont have to go in-depth but a good overview is always helpful.
@@TechTutorialswithPiyush thank you so much
The course is wonderful... But the ads are too much which is distracting... Thank you.
I don't set the number of ads bro, yt does that by default.
@@TechTutorialswithPiyush oh ok then
Great video Yaar - where do I get source code from?
thank you 😊 source code is there in the GitHub repo
I am facing a similar issue when creating a template using a demo generator. The project is getting created, but when I use the navigate icon, it shows me an error 404. Plus, I cannot locate the project in the associated organization (I am able to locate the other projects that I have created manually). I have tried creating a new organization as well; same issue.
Try going to Organization Settings -> Security -> Policies and turn on the Third-party application access via OAuth. Should do the trick.
@@SaifeldinEid Thanks for the workaround, it worked for me. Thanks!
Thank you 🙏🙏
i want to learn azure devops and i have az-900 certification which certification should i do next for devops any suggestions
You can start with this series and then You can go ahead with Azure Admin 104 and then AZ400.
I was unable to create demo project
Try going to Organization Settings -> Security -> Policies and turn on the Third-party application access via OAuth. Should do the trick.
@@TechTutorialswithPiyush Thankyou so much for the solution
Hello,
When creating a template using demo this message appeared " Congratulations! Your project is successfully provisioned." But Project couldn't find in projects section. any solution for this?
Creating new Organization Problem Solved!!!
Awesome!
Thank you
You're welcome :)

can i do az 400 certification with this course?
While it covers a lot of AZ400 topics , AZ400 is not only for Azure DevOps , it will test you on Github actions, git flow, observability, and a few other topics. I would suggest going through the exam guide for AZ400 and cover those topics as well.
My Dashboard was empty with no widgets. It did not get automatically fill up with all the widgets as shown in the video. Why is that? Is that a setting?
It might not have been imported, can you check the pinned comment
@@TechTutorialswithPiyush That setting was and is on. I can see everything else is imported. Just the overview DB is empty
@@TechTutorialswithPiyush I deleted the project and re-imported. Got all the 6 ticks for the import status and still the DB is empty
I don't understand, DB?
@@TechTutorialswithPiyush Dashboard, sorry about the confusion
Activity column not showing in sprint
Can you please share the screenshot in our discord community?
😍😍😍😍
Thank you 😊
you explained well but u did not explain whats the use of it?
I'm pretty sure I explained that in the beginning but it is used for project management, to track the progress of a project delivery, to collaborate with everyone as a team, to highlight any blocker, for faster delivery and releases. We can also generate different charts to analyze what went wrong, what went well etc.
How to find the code in git repo link ?
Check out the Github repo, link in the description
