So after reading the comments I seemed to get a lot of comments about me not knowing Volibear's lore, which is completely true. I don't really read lore, I just play league of legends for fun and that's it. I just thought it would be fun to react to it and give you my genuine reaction!

So, interesting things lore-wise;
Yes, Voli (as well as his siblings Anivia and Ornn) are massive units, their clashes shaped the land of the Freljord in ancient legends.
A demigod's appearance is partially determined by who is looking at them, the base skin is how Voli and those who follow his ways see him; people who fear/don't believe in the old ways see the "Eldritch Horror" Volibear.
Voli is a fundamentalist, he wants to get rid of civilisation and make the Freljord wild again, hence the "screw your towers" effect on his ult.
In terms of music, there's rumours floating around that it was made with Einar Selvik, the guy who did the music for HBO's Vikings.
I thought he looked like that cause the void had corrupted him after he was injured, hence the eyes below the bridge representing the watchers. So the norm skin is what he used to look like, but now he is the thousand pierced voli.
@Astagos Actually, Eldritch is supposed to reflect the cannibalistic and savage cult who summoned the idea of this version of him, only hearing the stories of a savage monster twisted by their own perceptions of life. Hence why Eldritch looks completely different with the multiple eyes and swords jutting out from his back. His base appearance is how he perceives himself and how most frejlordians know him.
I love it when people who haven't read the lore see the lore-based skins, so adorable.
The new skin was based on the lore of voli that surrounds sejuani and udyr.
Volibear's role in the Freljord culture is a lot like that of Tyrwulf in my D&D games. A spirit of nature's cruelty and savagery, that looks upon the creations of civilization (like agriculture, architecture, etc) with nothing but disgust and contempt - hence why his ult disrupts towers.
The reason for the new skin is because, as a spirit, he has multiple aspects. The default skin is his "noble" aspect, as a spirit of perseverance and strength. The skin with the eyes is the aspect that would rather see all of humankind dead, and Freljord returned to a land of beasts.
Normal players: I'm safe under tower
New voli: I don't think so
Disables tower with ult
About the volibear with the horror skin he was supposed to be like somewhere like that because he was originally an eldtrich horror part of volibear from his lore and it’s the skin that we are guaranteed to get before his rework and if you have him in your collection.
Um.. so anyone who has volibear before his rework comes out gets the Eldritch skin for free? Please reply.
If she actually read the lore she would understand the eyes in the abyss and that form of voli.

The skin is base in the lore, and for those who assume his form in their own perspective from devotion or Fear.
rito rework champions skills to have AoE, so that other have no AoE ability now something to showcase and utility.
I notice the tower voli near ult don't attack as if it got EMP and disrupt for awhile, like the old ohmwrecker lol item that active towers unable to attack they recycle it and also 3rd effects like 2nd skill of xerath change to clouds swirl to condense lightning strike that slows / damages and grant voli shield. Ult keep as it rito promise into passive the first still mobile that can stun familiar to udyrs bear stance might udyrs copied and the 2nd skill voli a nice rework from old attackspeed and bite skill into slash and rend.
Well I hope you get into more in-depth into league, so you can embrace the essence not just the game but the Legends that mold it. More power to your channel and I hope I got a shout out XD jk.

@@Perlyalol I'm not an language expert, but googling told me that the singer is from a band Warduna. The Warduna band apparently uses a lot of the Nynorsk language, so it could be assumed that they're singing in Nynorsk

@@isantti The language is Ancient Frejordian, which is a Conlang, or a constructed language, of various northern languages, Danish, Norse, Eastern German, ect. to make it an actual language of sorts. This was done actually for Ornn's theme (the one that's a poem with the woman singing) hopefully Riot will at one point give the actual lyrics to this, but given the context it's probably a song to praise the might and glory of the warrior spirit that is The Volibear
