I find that about $199 can get you the toppest of the top of the line as far as performance goes (Babyliss Pro Rapido, Parlux 385 Powerlight, Elchim, and Shark all fall into that price range and I think are incredibly close competitors which are noticeably better and faster than dryers around the $100 mark). I think with the Dyson the extra two hundred bucks kind of bought innovation and some "cool factor" which I certainly believe is worth it to some (and a rip off to others)-- but the performance wasn't twice as good (or any better at all) compared to a $199 dryer... Today with other interesting dryers hitting the market ands the Dyson aging, I think the spread for the Dyson is becoming less and less worth it overall. They need to innovate again if they want to keep their sales up.

My Dyson only lasted 3 yrs in the salon part time. I was hoping someone would make a 2000watt version of the Dyson. The Gamma IQ perfetto, I had high hopes for. The nozzle is awesome, super skinny and wide. It seemed to be a better version of the Dyson but, I heard complaints of it breaking after 2 weeks, the plastic being junk and melting, the nozzles not staying on over time etc.... So I decided against it. At least until they make it better. For $400. they should've been using higher quality parts, not cheap plastic. As a stylist, I wish I could design a blowdryer for these companies. We use them daily and know what's good and what's crap.
Can you address the petrolatum (pvp) that your company uses in your hair products. Professionals of cosmetology suggest that it is bad for your hair it makes it dry and it does not let your hair go through the natural process that it normally does and it blocks it. Then they list multiple reasons on why it is bad I want to know your take on it and what are your thoughts because I want to buy ur products but I found reviews of people who were causing concerns?

I wonder how does these high-end blowdryers compare against a much cheaper options like this one I got from Amazon for literally $40 (for the travel size, the full size is even cheaper at $25!) and is working great as far as I can tell... What aspects make these high end products better in real life usage?
Honestly I bought a Ionic $25 hairdryer. (1875w JINRI) It blows hot air fast. It drys my hair fast. Seriously what is a $200 hairdryer going to do different. I've been using it for two years without any issues.
Can you check out the Shark and the new TheSalonGuy's new blowdryer? I'm in the market for a new blowdryer and those are the ones I'm leaning towards. I'd appreciate it!

I think that's a pretty good comparison to the Dyson model and quite affordable. We have a Dyson hand held vacuum and the battery in that sucker won't hold a charge for nothing. I bought a similar battery made in China and it works great. Did that hair dryer have a warranty of some sort? Keep us updated!
For China it’s easy to copy and sell products with no invest into engineers, that’s why dyson is a expensive brand, they develop a lot of new tech and for develop you have to invest money in people capable of creating o modifying things that already exist or what no one do.
Cloud control shouldn’t add hold(at least not enough to keep it in place.) If the monarch and pomade isn’t enough, you could always just try using more of the product, but also try adding some holding hairspray on top of it. That’s what I do for any products that I really like but don’t give enough hold. But first step: just use more product. And if you aren’t already blow drying it, that helps as well.

I think influencers should not promote any knock offs. It is easier to spend $ for marketing than doing actual R&D in a company. Influencers should have a sense of responsibility in promoting products.
hey did you slow down?just know you have ppl that check you out keep up the content..you ever do an episode on hair growth speed?cause I found that biotin supplements really do something long as you're sweating regularly and not washing hair more than once per week it grows faster..swear..but when ur bored and washing ur hair 10x a day and looking in the mirror all day..no..basically it cannot be your full time job..fugetaboutit
