I just picked this game up! I have loved the LLAMA card game so much and I'm super excited to show this to my family! Thanks for putting this video together and uploading it!
This was a great review. Thanks for the detailed critique. Note: I also appreciate the fact that you explained that the dice are different. Reviewers kept saying 'The llamas come up more'... but then never explained why that might be.
I was a bit confused by the wording of fewest points wins, since the rules say the points are negative and the fewest points wins. I was unsure if it was fewest points absolute value or lowest value wins. Just saying the points are positive and fewest points wins is much more clear, so thank you!
Ohhh yeah I'm just rereading the rulebook now, and while the idea of a negative point token sounds like it might have worked, it definitely gets a little muddy in the syntax. Well I'm glad you found our "points are bad" simplification helpful 😅 and we really appreciate you watching! -Andy
Definitely less decision points and more push your luck that Quarriors. The differences are so many that it wouldn't occur to me to consider comparing the two. I consider Quarriors in the Dominion / Ticket to Ride / Splendor level of complexity, whereas LLAMA Dice is somewhere between Uno and Farkle.
Thanks for the review. I really love the commentary style, feels authentic
Thank you for watching!!

What about Quarriors? Are there less decision making and far more push your luck mechanics ?
