Ah yes fix stryrofoam with spackle + paint, of course.. easy to say that in retrospect :D Great video. I'm so pumped for your kickstarter book to finally arrive!!!
This is what im looking for thanks for the idea...I wanna ask about option on putting it inside my aquarium..Im planning to make my first Aqua diorama with this kind of idea however the option to.use mixed cement and waterproofing liquid will work for this? Is is possible?
Hey @Tabletop Lanny's Terrain ! There isn't any pdf on Patreon anymore! I joined for some times during June and then unsubscribed.. Where can I find that pdf? I'm willing to pay for it.
Just discovered this! Amazing! I tried to do this kind of thing with this specific type of foam, but I got stuck right after shaping it. What kind of mixture do you use with the acrylic? I'm new to this and trying to learn as much as possible!
Great tutorial like always! One thing I'd like to add: styrofoam tends to stick to everything because of static charge. Put everything you don't want to get coverd in tiny styrofoam pebbles away. I just finished my jungle scatter terrain and had my tool box right below the table... Let's just say, cleaning that up was REALLY annoying ;)
@@TabletopLenny Don't listen to them.. Thank you for making a 2 min video instead of a 20min video with 2 min of information. Keep doing what your doing it's great!
This is some of the best terrain work I've seen so far. I'm definitely going to make this for a jungle board.
Nice Justin!

This looks unbelievably like real basalt formations on volcanic islands. Amazing
Thanks!

Danke! Macht auch richtig Spaß die Teile zu raspeln! Und ist ne mittelgroße Sauerei!
Very nice terrain! Looks perfect for an alien world ripe for a Tyranid invasion!
Thanks! I am planning to build Alien infected addons.
Some great inspiration! Thanks!
Thank you Makkeru!
Sir, you are a genius

Hey! It's fun! I use wall filler/spackling powder and mix it with acrylic paint. Stippling creates nice textures! Cheers

Thanks! That's true! I prefer to use the vacuum cleaner in the right distance and let the bubbles fly before anything else lifts up.
Awesome!
Thank you very much!
spackling compound. what is it exactly ? google translation make no sense on my language
andrea zaltron It’s the thing used to fill gaps in walls and other things. Comes either as a powder or pre-mixed in a plastic container
Thanks for answering! Make sure you get it without solvents to avoid melting foam!
It's "stucco" in Italian if this is your language.
Seperti batuan yang nyata
Cheers
2 min 40 sec content is very little.
I have the paintjob on cam and gonna load up another video. But compressed content could be a good idea in general?
