this brother was one of the best that ever did it bar none
I remember watching many of those games live on TV in o4. It was jay jay ococha, thiery henry and ayegbeni yakubu blowing up the premier league every week. it was amazing.
Always skilful and always smiling
Very classy interview, especially the retort to the Madrid comment. Classy player and gent.
Now football is money not passion is so sad
Always been about money
Gentleman ❤ Just oozes class and what a player
I feel like jay jay is a underrated legend of football/soccer
Don't put / soccer please it's called football. Don't make the yanks happy .
That Bolton team had some truly world class players who were slightly past their best, but still talented
Jay Jay Okacha
Youri Djorkaeff
Fernando Heirro
Ivan Campo
Even players who weren't world class were really good players, like Gary Speed and Giankopopilipis or however it's spelled.
Just a really solid team, they finished 6th in premier League one year, now they're down in League two...
He’d probably still get in our team now, baller and a professional, rare to see these days
This man is an absolute class. The way he talks, the way he dresses, the classy style of his and the smart answers to questions like him being at Madrid.
And he’s humble, also knows how to drop defenders on the field aswell.
Probably my fav person for interviews and one of my fav interview along with Alisson one where he scored and cried while talking…
Take Jay Jay's technical ability and 'on his day' he was the best player in the world. Take his overall wider impact on team results and that is where he fell short of the more recognised / celebrated careers of other perceived greater players. But technically? Again, he was up there with anyone : )
A bit unfair when you consider that he stuck with Bolton, and even at that level he made a huge impact. Just imagine how much he'd have achieved and how much recognition he'd have gotten if he had played for a big club.
