A real magician playing football! Provided with extraordinary technical quality and immense ability to improvise, Okocha was one of the greatest talents I've ever seen! True baller, living legend!
I watched him as a Hull City fan, his control and touch was amazing and he’d occasionally pull out a trick or two which was worth the ticket price alone! Thanks Jay-jay
The early 2000s waking up with a bowl of cereal playing fifa at 8am waiting for soccer am to start waiting for this guy to show up every week. What a time to be alive take me back
This is the best and most comprehensive JayJay Okocha's video I've seen. It clearly highlights his skills and shows how good he really was with the ball.
Okocha wasn't celebrated enough, even back home here .What an amazing player he was ❤❤ goat. Indeed, he created somany dribbling style that they are all now, but just because he wasn't from European, they refused to give him all these credits, etc....love you jayjay ❤❤❤❤
Okocha was not only a joy to watch, but I also think he perfectly embodies the kind of playmaker that could only arise in a bygone era of football. As brilliant as he was, nowadays between positional play, gegen pressing and lowest as low gets block defending he would told he is too unathletic, or too slow, or doesn't have enough end product or doesn't track back enough, and he would either see very little game time as a starter or he would be forced to become just another boring cog in a machine. I like some of the aspects of modern football, but I also lament the chronic lack of spontaneity that ball players like Okocha used to bring. I hope this old man hasn't bored you with his whining.
@@leobeenplakker6505 Yes it is, all stadiums look the same, all teams look the same, all play is exactly the same, atmospheres are horrible, everything is about tactics and running, same generic players. @@worlddd7777agree I find football hard to watch at times now, and when pep was at Barca I must admit they played some of the best football I’ve ever seen but it also bored me to death the same as arsenal, nowadays the ball hardly goes out of play, players got to wait to celebrate because of VAR I don’t know if it’s because I’m old but I think we shouldn’t of changed what didn’t need to be fixed var should only be used for goal line tech rest should be the refs, damn I miss the old days

Monster is the perfect description of Jay Jay Okocha. As a Kenyan, Nigeria really has had the best African players in the EPL. Another I really like is Kanu
Ooh, that's a tough one, Yaya and Drogba (and Kolo) for Ivory Coast, Essien and Yeboah for Ghana. But another one for Nigeria: Yakubu! As a Newcastle supporter I'm hoping Yankuba Minteh can be the next star.
Then football was fun.. No player has the heart to do all these again.. Or let's say "Football" isn't selling skill anymore.. Even at 3-0 down against Brazil, you can see OKOCHA still showing the skills, dazzles etc... You dare not do that when you are down... Era of skills in football now is gone.. What we have left is Pace, strength, goal scoring ability....
Exactly if you could remember well the entire Brazilian team if not all was asking themselves who is this guy again back then some Brazilian fan was saying can they sign him because he has Brazilian root of football knowledge 😂😂 shout out to you though 🙌
The best among the best from this part of the world. The government should please achieve the talent of his likes like Amokashi, Kanu, Rashid, Olise, Kechi, and so on. There is no reason why Nigeria should not be paying in FIFA world cup final every time.
It's a shame that because there were so many great players at that time he went a little unnoticed, but he was a great player and the Nigerian team at that time with so many names was to be feared.
I still can't understand after all these years why Sir Alex never signed him to replace King Eric. Especially as Jay Jay was a genuine star of that summer's World Cup.
He’s finally getting more recognition. One of the most skillful players ever. He mentored Ronaldinho at PSG.
some Psg players say
that Jay jay was more technical than ronnie...
No he didn’t.
@@claudyfocant8771don’t believe them😅

And that was at the end of his career
He was better at Bolton Wanderers I loved it
Remember seeing a lot of Jay-Jay on Eurosport between PSG and AFCON. Magical player. Ronaldinho even learned a few of his tricks clearly.

Master of football JJ Okocha
One of the true greats.. I would quite happily have paid to watch him.
Man was and is a delight to watch
Kai Jay Jay was underrated. Thanks Jay Jay for playing football❤️
What a beautiful player... Playing as much for the team than for the fans.
Thank YOu for this.
And thank you Jay Jay.
Nice. But only psg and Nigeria footage. You should have Eintracht, Fenerbahçe and Bolton too.
As ruas nunca o esqueceram, Jay Jay Okocha! 🔥
He was so good, they named him twice
He was such a joy to watch
That drag and step over trick was easily predictable but impossible to stop
Exactly. The defender KNOWS Jay Jay is gonna do his step over. But he still can’t stop him! It’s the most incredible skill. 😊
He’s the inventor of that trademark dribble.
The legend does it again. Best football highlights account of YT
Questo si che è un gran bel video . Grazie 😊
I remember that Cristiano used to do those dribbles of going one way and the other when he arrived at Manchester
The greatest.
Amazing footballer
Fenerbahce legend
The best indeed JJ Okocha 😊
Back when Football was fun to watch
I might be young but i really envy what the millennials had😢
I don’t get why his playing time at Bolton wasn’t added… He did some amazing stuff there I think more so than his playing time with PSG.
Definitely a Monster!
Okocha is extraordinary good. Highly talented foot baller.
