Just test drove a 1.5 150bhp and felt it wanting for more power. So enjoyed this review as you’ve said the 2 litre 1.9 gives such a smoother drive. Just what I was looking to hear 😊
Indeed, it is a big difference between the 2 engines. And the 4x4 system is awesome. But you need to consider the consumption: 8.5l/100 km outside the city and 15l/100km in the city.
@@recanything that seems a massive fuel economy compared to what Cupra claim. I know theirs is in perfect conditions but if I’ve translated that to correct mpg rates then it’s almost using fuel like a Bentley. Also can I ask, how does it sound at high speeds on the motorway? Does it have a lot of wind and road noise in the cabin?
@@paulmews1043 Yes, there is noticeable wind noise at speeds over 130-140km/h, but I just increase the music volume a bit. The engine insulation is also quite poor, you can hear the engine a lot on heavy accelerations.
@@recanything the noise issue is what worries me slightly. But if you think the music can drown it out if it’s only a mild noise. I noticed when I accelerated the 1.5 150bhp that the engine could be heard, hence I knew it lacked power. If the 2.0 200bhp is better then hopefully it’s not as bad as it’s weaker sibling
@@paulmews1043 Don't worry too much about the noise. You will get used to it and you will enjoy the car every day! If you live in a cold country, I really recommend the auxiliary heating.
We are in New Zealand and have just ordered this version of the Formentor. Ours is Graphene gray as we couldn't get the red that you have here. We have optioned with 19 inch wheels and heated seats Your video showed so many features and how to use them. Our car salespeople should watch your video. It is a brilliant video. Thank you.
Very nice video, thank you. It is a shame that our dealer in Israel don't want to bring here this version of Formentor with 190hp, they bring here only the 1.5l 150hp and the 2.0l 310hp, but not the 190hp, and also they are very expensive here, like all the other new cars. I own a Seat Leon with 1.8l 180hp for almost 7 years now, and i like Seat cars, and want to replace my 7 years old Leon with something new from Seat/Cupra, but the prices here in Israel are ridiculous crazy, and not very options to choose from...
this car really has problems with pixeling of camera and also a time lag of the camera ? Saw it in other reviews. Its also has rough suspension as in VZ model 310hp?
@@pokyJR it's a great car! I was impressed by its performance and comfort. If you get the 10inch screen, you'll see that it is quite foggy as it has an anti-reflex treatment on it. Just stick a glossy screen cover on it and you'll have a completely new screen 😁

A shame, indeed! The 2.0l 190hp is the perfect engine for this car!
why they are so expensive there?
@@makkeyn I don't know, maybe because of the high local taxes

Did you or someone else try 2.0 TDI engine?

I didn't notice the camera lag, but the camera quality is really poor indeed! The DCC suspension is soft in the Comfort mode.
is this a V1 or V2?
Voiam și eu sa aud un review făcut de un Roman , și vorbește engleza :))
