I just feel if people are concerned about noise and kids they shouldn’t buy a condo. The burden shouldn’t be on the parent but the miserable Karens. Kids will be kids.
I believe this all boils down to preference. I’m a New York native as well and have investment condos in Philly, South Jersey, and Florida. I paid for the condos cash so there’s no mortgage, and rent covers the HOA’s. I believe they are good investments depending on how you go about the investment and which markets you choose. NY and North Jersey are not good markets because they are expensive and a bunch of co-ops. Stay away from co-ops because you don’t fully own the units
I have 2 condos around 190k each rented around 7-8% cap rate. I am thinking to sell and add some money and buy multi family. You think it worth doing? It is in west nj. What is the cap rate on your multi family
