Amazing, Paul I do have a question ? You mentioned is I can remember tell me if I wrong , you mix totally on the Box and go to Atmos to finish mixing and then go to Mastering on the Outboard Gear ? . You mentioned in another older video also the benefit of Outboard Gear it’s that it’s sound better then plug-ins when mixing .
Outboard gear sounds better in 99% of applications. The reason I mix in the box is for a number of reasons. I mix in Dolby Atmos which achieves a far superior sound to analogue. This is done in the box. So to use analogue summing would be taking a step back. That's the main reason I have move to ITB mixing. Instant recall of sessions is a great benefit. The major benefit of analogue is the hands on control when it comes to mixing. Which is why I use the Avid s4. This gives me the hands on control you get from an analogue console with your DAW. Stereo mastering however is performed in the analogue domain.
Astounding setup, optimized in every detail! Like the motorized desk😳 Curious about which system is being used there to lift it up. Anyway, congrats for that big Atmos install!
Beautiful room! What’s the 2 small video monitors you are using with the S4? These seem to be the right size for this console and sit nicely where the stock S4 monitors would be.
Looks amazing on your S4. So compact the whole system. Driving the whole rig with a Macbook Pro right? HDX? This is one of the most exciting tours (at least for me). Same here with the Trinnov. Have one in our 5.1 room. Worth every penny!
Thanks much for this. what version of Trinnov are you using (ST2 Pro ?) and would you recommend it for someone mixing with two sets of studio monitors??
Highly recommended for even 2 channel. We have the 16 channel Dante version of the trinnov. We have to use the 16 channel version because we have 15 speakers.
If you ever get the chance to sit in front of an Avid S4, you'd quickly realise that unless you are 8ft tall with no control over the lower half of your body, you would never kick those racks.
I avail mixing and mastering services from audio animals but these guys don't know anything about mixing mastering or these guys cheat with their clients. Even these guys don't even guide something wrong or correct in your song so be care full before sending your song with a huge amount of money.
Awesome studio brother!
Now that’s a hybrid studio!! With all the hardware analog and digital is great !!
Great Room.

The desk legs you can get off amazon. Just be sure to buy the one that is heavy duty and can lift heavy loads.
@@AudioAnimalsStudio Thank you for the info, will check it out😉

They are just standard 13 inch monitors. Much better than the £6000 avid screens as you can have anything displayed on them.

Yes whole system is running off the macbook pro. With a macbook mini running DAMS.
