They should have used the air raid sirens too, they're placed all over the city and can also transmit voice messages. And IIRC they also don't all start/stop at the exact same time so if it's quiet enough you can hear other sirens starting or stopping within the half a second time difference.
San Francisco has air raid sirens as a part of it's emergency alert system, they used to test them Tuesdays at noon but they're down for maintenance/upgrades until some time in 2021.

imagine this from Hope's perspective. Not even a minute after she sends Scott into the Quantum Realm, the van disappears and then a wizard suddenly appears and calls upon her to help save the universe.

I was going to watch that movie with my sister that night. The siren, the lone shot of the front of the house with an open door, and then into the living room with the tv going with an emergency broadcast and the window open with nothing but...silence. Only the alarm. That part always gives me chills... it's just so, eerie, and frightening.
It’s genuinely so unsettling. I remember getting chills to the bones in the theater at both end credits scenes.

Until that ant shows up and BRINGS DOWN SOME FIRE UPON THOSE DRUMS.
And the fact that Scott was stuck in the quantum realm before all of this made it more chilling since we didn't know if he was going to be stuck there for a while like the original wasp or somehow come back like he did in Antman 1.

From antman's perspective Ant man was in the quemtam realm for 1 and a half hours (5 years earth time) and hope,hank,and the wasp were dusted for (from their perspective) 1 hour 50 minutes(5 years earth time)

she didnt feel a thing, for her no time went by, she just pretty much blinked and them it was 2023
Whenever a person turns to dust they do not feel time so she just felt weird and then came back but she really just disappeared and came back 5 years later.
When they did Mic check it took 5 seconds to hear a reply from Scott, but maybe for Scott it was only a second! Like how it was only 5 hours him while it was 5 years for everyone else!

I guess it's more like the van electricity was running after the snap for 5 hours and then it went down for obvious reasons which cause the Earth's timeline to skip immediately to the 5 years in the future right after the van is powered. When the van is up the time rate is the same.
I don't know if Hank Pym gets enough credit. His technology saved the entire universe.
I think this is one of the most interesting post credits scenes. I want to see more of the immediate aftermath of the snap, like with that EAS alert on TV

I can still remember the shock on my face when I saw this in the theater. Surprisingly, the Ant playing the drums actually made the post-credits scene even scarier.
I miss the old days of the MCU.
Gotta admit, this post credit scene is on par with the ending of infinity war. Because both scenes gave me a sense of hopelessness. I will never forget the urge to know what happens next! Being able to rewatch this and already know what happens after is cathartic.

As one of the people who didn't see Infinity War, but saw this, I can say we all knew about "the snap" and what it did from the sheer amount of memes relating to it... which made this scene CRUSHING because you were left with a feeling of "Well... shit, this is how Ant-Man dies..." It was one of the worst endings I've ever seen, purely because the writers were genius and deliberately didn't want to spoil Infinity War in another film.
I saw Infinity War and I believe it just fine.

This legit gave me goosebumps in the cinema. I had disassociated this movie from everything else going on, and it really just nailed in that no one was safe. It's really a horrific moment.
1:55 first reaction: "UH-OH, they all vanished, that means Thanos snapped his fingers, now Scott is in trouble, he's trapped in the quantum realm, how is he going to get out?
The way this scene just comes out of nowhere after a relatively light-hearted mkvie really made me go "Oh right...that's still a thing going on."

They did a good job with this movie in making a deeper plot. Antman could’ve been in Infinity War and easily defeated Thanos by going subatomic. However, the producers decided to handle it differently by letting him sit out the fight and instead come back once everyone vanished in order to save the day with his knowledge of the quantum realm. It's also said that the quantum realm has a wildly inconsistent flow of time. It's not a strict ratio that can be calculated, it moves forwards and backwards in wildly unpredictable ways, at least until Stark was able to map pathways through it.

When I first watched this film at Thursday night and saw the 2nd post credits. I was terrified seeing how empty at Scott’s place is with the State of Emergency playing on TV. It literally gives me chills and tense up the fear on me.

There’s one thing I still want to know: The reason he was in there in the first place is because he had to get that Healing Particle for Ghost, but then he gets stuck in there until 5 years later in Avengers: Endgame, so what happened to Ghost during the 5 year period? Does she not get snapped from existence and die without the particle? Or does she get lucky and get snapped from existence?

Not sure if this was ever addressed, but the ending here is the van and all the equipment sitting on top of a parking structure. How did it get from there to tidied up and in storage. You'd think some enterprising scrapper would have found it post-snap and sold off what he could.
It is no different than when an inoperable vehicle is left on the side of the road or highway. It gets towed and ends up in an impound lot. People don't just start ransacking right after a natural disaster or a hostile attack.
When u watched the movie one of my friends members turned it off and I didnt see the post credits until today so uhh I'm creeper out but happy aswell

When I saw this movie, I though it was just part two of the previous ant man until my mouth dropped seeing the dusts and realized this is taking place in Infinity War O_o
