- Unaccompanied minors are more likely to receive asylum than adults, leading some applicants to falsify their age in an attempt to manipulate the system.
Figures indicate that this tactic is becoming increasingly common, with 1,317 migrants claiming to be minors at the border up to the end of June 2024.

They can tell from their teeth whether they are a child, so make it that all illegal immigrants have dental checks on arrival.

I've been calling for all legal and illegals to be DNA tested, screened for any diseases, fingerprints taken and full facial scanning. The amount of diseases that have increased amongst the population have increased. TB was almost completely gone until they started allowing swathes of people to stay even though they had no right to enter.

🤬🤡🤬🤬😡👳👳👳🧕 I worked for the NHS for over 30 years and you tell my I wouldn't have a difference between an adult and a child no man or woman age 30 would get past me any train doctor nurse or even the auxiliary nurses would know what they are dealing with the home office needs to be sat and all their staff there are plenty of people who have retired from the NHS or on unemployed can do that job with their eyes closed stupidity is stupidity

They need to administer medical tests as soon as a person is processed for asylum. This should include DNA, retina scan, finger prints , blood group and a dental check up. This should be no matter what age they are and be for their own health and safety. That way a person coming from a dangerous situation can be assessed and any illness that is picked up, immediately addressed, This should be no more stressful than it would be for any person getting a medical AND DENTAL check up.. Once the check up is complete, the results should be analysed for probable age, probable origin and such things as gender. All to be documented. There should also be an assessment as to truth of 'story', questions about how they got across europe with no documents and why and a check with the wanted lists for various countries.... Once all are cleared, then it is time to decide next steps.
An AI could be trained to recognise specific dialogues to help home in on correctness of details if needed.
You can even get AI that assesses age but of course this is less accurate than dental check ups.
I imagine there would be a vast increase in entirely toothless arrivals but the other checks will help too.
Anyone arriving illegally, should of course be instantly denied asylum anyway as there are legal and safer access routes and we should assume that anyone not going through these routes, has something that would reject their claim anyway.

Dental checks should be carried out to eliminate anyone from pretending to be a child, my goodness this is absolutely awful.

Those who come into the country on small boats have broken the law to get here, so you really think they worry about following the law when they do arrive? Of course not. Putting adult men in childrens¥ classes endangers the children. If someone does not have a passport they should not be admitted to the country. If I don't have a passport I will not be allowed in.

If they’re pretending to be a child, And we find out they’re not, they should go to prison. We don’t want adults in our children’s schools, They could be perverts with intent to harm our children.

We can just have our own human rights charter to incorporate its good points. Leaving the ECHR doesn't mean we are going to become inhuman. It's used to prevent serious criminals from being deported or failed asylum seekers suddenly are gay, Christian and marry a Brit so it blocks deportation, it's not working in our best interests anymore!
