People in the comment section saying that gdp is overhyped . That means they are unknown about some facts:
1. Per capita income in india in 2014 was around 90k , now it is around 170k (doubled ).
2. We have completed just about 75 years of independence while many high income countries were colonizers.
3. If you claim Chinas per capita income is more even with such huge population, then you should also be able to digest the fact that they opened their economy in 1978(so called the communists) and Indian in 1990s (socialist).
4. India was just an overall consumer till 2014, but now we have record breaking export numbers since independence in various sectors.
Per capita in 2023-24 is 2,11,700rs
China opened its economy in 1978 and economic growth started. We opened our economy in 1991 but economic growth started in 2003.

2026-27 is enough for 3rd largest economy,Sensex should touch 2,50,000 point in 2047-2050 (Economy is 35 Trillion US$) this is the major target to survive as Indian otherwise we can't say we have money to running the country. Because population is also major concern for India.
