He talked more like a bureaucrat (protecting the government) than an economist, gave no answer regarding what was his decision that results into a failure. Although demonization is a big failure everybody knows as he himself mentioned about the presence of corruption in the country for the eradication of which BJP came with demonetization. On overall basis a good informative session with a very knowledgeable Economist.
Agree. When it came to current problems, he talked about judiciary and state government issues while in positive side he mentioned things which are under central government. BJP is smartly doing promotions by sending cabinet ministers and diplomates to gain the trust of younger generation of India.

Being an economic student, I am also a student of economics research and pursuing economics bachelor from London school of economics. Sanjeev sir just presented one side of the story and very basic things, like he mentioned freebies should not be promoted. But overall, we have researched that , every developed economies have promoted freebies in respect of some basic necessities. Health and Education was always priority in developed economy.
Freebies means free electricity free milk free laptop and worst part is free money! Freebies are like diabetes… it’s a slow killer! You don’t need a PhD to understand that.
