M416 Overland Trailer Build - Part 1

- This is a walk around of my M416 Overland trailer build. I started with an old M416, and have been slowly converting it to an overland camping trailer. This is the first of a few videos of my build.

Just watched the awning video. More great work! Like how you think about storage solutions too.
@@mjenner89 I will show it all put away once I get it all done. I will probabky do a completed walk around, then maybe do a review after a trip or two, so I can see what I would have done better.

I’m going to start building mine, as soon as I get my shop built. Good to know about the sides wanting to lean in once the tailgate was cut. I’m planning on cutting a tailgate, too.

Nice job , looking good it’s going to be a very bad ass trailer. I just finished building a 1947 bantam trailer. Have one Video on it I’ll be posting one this week of finish product

You mean like a couple crossbars to use as a storage rack inside?

Looking good! Just picked up my 416 build trailer. Gonna spend a couple months looking at diff builds. I love your pull out stove set up. Will definitely be adding that!
That's what happens when you cut a tailgate, what a fucked up mess, you sure screwed that trailer up

We never ended up making them to sell. WE both just got too busy.

Hey good looking trailer..... how much did you pay for that tailgate? Where did you source that?
Thank you! I actually got it from my brother who had it laying around from an older CJ. I have seen some on Ebay around the $100-$125 range in decent shape.
Are you selling the articulating hitch?
I'm not bud. My buddy built one for each of us and that's all we ever built.
