Hello Freddie Tech ~
I’ve had DIRECTV satellite for over 20yrs and now I want to switch to DIRECTV Stream. I want to be able to use my FireStick remote to control the DIRECTV Stream.
What are your thoughts (pros and cons) on using the FireStick remote to control DIRECTV Stream⁉️

The Fire TV remote does the job but the experience with the DirecTV stream Gemini remote has numbers so you can put in the channel number easily. Also record button and shortcut button to DVR. It's overall a smoother experience. If you are leaving Satellite you'll have the freedom to pause service or leave and come back anytime. Gemini devices are not cheap though if bought on its own to use with DirecTV stream. With DirecTV stream over Internet you can get the Gemini but you'll have to do the 2 year price Lock.
