The slogan of Shonen Jump, the magazine in which JoJo's Bizarre Adventure was serialized, was ``Friendship, Effort, and Victory.'' However, looking at Jonathan's ending, I can't help but say that "Eternal Rest" has been one of Shonen Jump's slogans since 1987. Jonathan's will will be inherited.
Jojo part 1: done. This was a prologue for the future parts but man if it was good. Many people thinks this is the worst part just because there are less things compared to the others, but I enjoy it every time i rewatch it: definitely the most underrated part to me. Can't wait for your reaction to what comes next! Musical references of the episodes: Doobie is a reference to the Doobie Brothers; the 4 zombies that fought against Tonpetty and Straizo shares the surnames of the 4 members of the Led Zeppelin; Father Styx is a reference to the band Styx; while wang chen is a reference to the wang chung, another band. The fact that Jonathan spilled out the wine before the last fight was a premonitory sign of death, as Zeppeli said some episodes ago. Btw, Jonathan was 21 when he died and also Erina said "a new life inside me", meaning she was pregnant. RIP to our goat Jonathan... he won't be forgotten. His death was the real thing that made me love jojo from the start, cause seeing an MC dying permanently in an anime is so unique to me, I didn't even know there were different protagonists. Hype for part 2!
This part was pretty good. I actually enjoyed the story and the characters (Jonathan, Dio and Zeppeli in particular). Also, thanks for all these bits of information. I really enjoy reading these ☺️
The relationship between Jonathan and Dio is very interesting. They were undoubtedly sworn enemies, but at the same time, they were a pair of light and shadow, and had a close relationship that could be described as "two existences are truely one." This year in Japan, the musical "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" was performed. This musical emphasized the "two existences are truely one" relationship between Jonathan and Dio.
I just found about your reactions with this episode getting recommended to me but I watched them all and then watched this. I'm happy you're enjoying the series so far! JoJo Part 1 was pretty groundbreaking from beggining to end. Jonathan being a foreign main character from England was already pretty crazy, specially for it's time the 80's, but killing your main character and continuing the series was even crazier. Mr. Hirohiko Araki, creator of the series, has said he was inspired by his own grandfather, who had passed away little time before he started writing JoJo. He felt that part of his grandfather was still living within him, so he wanted to teach the lesson of how even if we die, there's still a part of us that's still here, in the people we met and the ones who come after us. At the end of the day, despite all it's bizarreness, JoJo is a series about celebrating humanity, showing "wonderful people with hearts of gold carrying justice" as the author puts it❤ I love Jonathan! He truly represents the more pure aspects of humanity as our first protagonist. Even after everything Dio did to him, he died hugging his head with a smile, just happy that his wife and (not yet born) child were safe. Meanwhile Dio couldn't change despite seven years of having fatherly and brotherly love. They have great paralels! Can't wait to see your reaction to other Parts! I hope you keep having a good time!

Straizo: no fighter has escaped it
Literally everytime the technique was shown:

Ppl who look down on Phantom Menace don't _deserve_ the rest
People needs to appreciate the forerunners. Just because something is better doesn’t make the rest bad.

He's really gone 😭
Part 2 hype!! But RIP Jojo
Jonatjan joestar is the embodiment of selfless heroism
He really is! I still can't believe he's gone so soon.
Questa prima parte, per quanto la più breve,è un anticamera importantissima per le serie successive...
Author JoJo Hirohiko Araki doesn't like predictable things, he wants his work to be difficult to calculate in advance
R.I.P. Jonathan
epic prologue
Sorry, JJBA is NOT Disney.
RIP Jojo
Best couple, Jojo and Dio. To die in his arms, so romantic, better love story than Twilight.
💯
❤️
