@@JoshConnectMedia No, if a camera is set to 4K, will it accept the input and downscale it to 1080p automatically. Right now, the Osee GoStream will not do that, for example. You have to set the camera to 1080p before it will see the input. Hoping the Sprolink doesn't make you do that.
I really like having a ptz joystick, and seems like it might make a good replacement of atem mini pros. Only thing it might be missing is Companion / streamdeck support. Also wanted to see if HDMI supports independent multi-view and PGM, but I didn't see it here.
Hey, I'm looking to buy this to use it for a single cam set up, but with three other screens set up for corporate work. So my question is, can I use this to have the camera 1 set up on the presenter, and then while recording the video, switch to monitor 1, 2, and 3 as required? I realise the NeoLIVE R2 can do so much more than this, especially for live, multicam work. And we'll get into that. But I need to know it can do the above single can/multi-screen set up as well?
Also, I wish someone besides Roland would realease a switcher with Audio Follows Video, to be used with multi cam podcasts and make auto-switching so much easier.
Decent build overall for the chassis but the smaller buttons are not the best and easily stuck sideways since they're raised so much. The power port upon attaching the power supply turned immediately seemingly loose. Not sure how long this will last and may give it to a friend for his own use and testing.
I have the original Neo Live R2, and I've noticed that the HDMI output video has a strong darker contrast compared to the input video sources. Has this issue been resolved with this newer version?
Thanks for the video, but can it record simultaneously for the four cameras connected as to have five records (the merged and the four individual sources). Thank you
But do you have any favorite cameras that you can recommend? Any is no help. My club needs an idea of what you think would be nice cameras for moderate cost. We need help. Thanks.
Mr Black, I ought Sprolink newlive R2 Plus. I was setup most features except setting up my PTZ camera. Please help. Can you post step-by-step set up video. Thank you
MrBlack, this one or the RgbLink mini MX ? Which one is the better? Any difference in output image quality? Besides the price, which would you recommend?
Hey, Uncle Blacky! So, I've been wanting to have something that would let me connect multiple PCs to the same monitor. Seems like this fits the bill and does a ton more. So what happens when it has cameras of different resolutions? If you record that to the usb drive, does it dumb down the higher rez video, upscale the lower rez video or just put the lower rez video on the recording with a black frame? Sorry about the Uncle Blacky crack. :P Oh, have you tried doing video feedback on it?
How does the logo fonction work? Does the switcher keep graphics in its memory so when I go from one location to another it’s always in the switcher or do I need to load graphics each time?
Hey brother have a question for you. Im about to set up a 3 camera production. Im going to order this for $550. Here is my question will i need to use a 3rd party software like OBS to set up the cameras or can i just use the switcher and stream to TH-cam live? Im assuming as you mentioned a usb external can be used to record
This looks so good, one thing I noticed is that it uses USB Type A I have no idea why, also the build quality does not seem as good as Atem mini, maybe it is just in the video, but I really feel that this device replaces my Atem mini to much better workflow
I have the ATEM mini pro iso and I think this unit is WAY better. I'm really jealous of being able to use the USB port to connect to the computer AS WELL AS another port for recording to a USB storage device. I also would love to have two PGM outputs. Have you done long sessions with it? does it ever overheat?
I find those switchers to be almost all the same. I still don't see a point to leave OBS apart from the multi HDMI in and offloading the video processing from my computer. For everything else, OBS is ahead. Even things like autoswitch should be a basic feature, as most of these devices are targeting small to medium content creators, usually working solo. Big budget productions will look elsewhere. And the 1080p 🤦♂️
CINETREAK Cinelive C1 4*HDMI Video switcher with 5'' Screen livestream Video Mixer Recorder Streamer with PTZ Camera Control Broadcast switcher Live Production Mixer for OBS,Vmix, streamyard
This is definitely not the best switcher of 2024 so the title is clickbate. The switcher is good and has some great features but it is missing ISO recording and multiview out. There are other switchers on the market that have everything this switcher has and more.
Dude thank you for the video but those transitions are so lame and you really need to sort your shutter speed out to stop the light flicker, it’s not hard to resolve..
FFS!!!!!!!! Can someone PLEASE make something like this or an atme mini which supports 4K 60 inputs AND outputs????????? Why doesn’t anyone make something like this in 4K? I don’t care about price I need 4K, HDMI in and out. I don’t care about SDI. I don’t even need 4 channels. Just an AB. It’s CRAZY that this doesn’t exist.
In 2024 the first feature I want to hear about on ANY live stream or video switcher is PORTRAIT VIDEO SUPPORT. These boxes NEED to be able to crop AND ROTATE all sources in order to facilitate portrait compositions (laid out in landscape but 90° rotated to make it portrait). And if it has a multiview that multiview needs to be able to rotate the sources 90° to show the portrait layout properly. Additionally it would be nice to see a full on portrait oriented multiview entirely
Would love to see a review of this if you ever get your hands on it. Looks crazy good. RGBlink Intros mini-mx 4K Multi-Channel Streaming Video Mixer With PTZ Camera Control
The fact that none of these switchers can take in 4K input and record it as such is beyond me.
Yolobox Ultra can record in 4k
RGBLink also has a switcher that handles 4K.
I still can’t believe the atem doesn’t have a power button, this looks way better, great that it has a screen built in too
yes, that is the difference
besides, the leds of the ATEM, are bright... really really bright (and ATEM PRO is only 1080p recording)
Does it support ISO recording of all the HDMI inputs simultaneously, like the Atem Pro Mini ISO?
You want a YoloBox Ultra forget this already outdated item unless you wish to be severely restricted to 1080p.
not yet
Little detail, it is not Key Disk, because DSK means downstream keyer. It is the last effect the switcher has before going out.
The atem mini pro can save an editing project of davinci that i can re-edit later on. Is this posible with this R2PRO?
not yet
wow this is really the best one with that screen and all the features, thanks brother!
Does it have audio delay? Like can we change the audio delay?
Most of these solutions need external power, can you plug it into a power bank?
yes, when use the power bank,it needs a QC power cable
does it have instant replay and scoreboard overlays?
not yet
Does it downscale a 4K camera to 1080p or no?
yes
So meaning the output video to be captured is gonna be a 1080p right?
@@JoshConnectMedia No, if a camera is set to 4K, will it accept the input and downscale it to 1080p automatically. Right now, the Osee GoStream will not do that, for example. You have to set the camera to 1080p before it will see the input. Hoping the Sprolink doesn't make you do that.

So I can't connect my Rode mixer to this for audio? 3.5mm jacks are so outdated and the quality is pants by comparison.

Is the screen big enough to be able to see if your cameras are in focus? The preview looks pretty small on camera.
yes,off course yes
What's going on with the background tho... the pink is being clipped or something.
Also, I wish someone besides Roland would realease a switcher with Audio Follows Video, to be used with multi cam podcasts and make auto-switching so much easier.
we need pgm2 as Multiview, it is possible?

Is there a good switcher for NDI? We run up to 5 cameras during livestreams and all are NDI.
