My wife and I just got a used 2010 Ford escape with 179,000 miles, and so far we like it it runs great and we hope that continues. It is a 2.5, with a moonroof. ❤ 7:24
There is a specific way to lower the rear seats. First you have to pull the rear seat cushion and fold them over into the footwell. Than take the headrests off and you can fold the rear lean over. 👍🏻👍🏻
To answer your question at the end, I love the 2nd gen Escape. Somehow it makes me happy to drive them. They have their very specific charm. For yesrs im dreaming of owning a 2010-12 Limited with navigation package. A Hybrid Limited with navigation package would be awesome too.
Well I went and looked at one identical to this same year make and model and engine and the owner told me the engine was done at 145,000kms because the oil was empty so how could it loose all the oil,I looked under the engine and could see shine oil residue on parts but no oil droplets because there was no oil left in it to do so,this was before I asked them how it ran over the phone after I looked at it by myself so I’m gonna see what a good used engine would cost for it because the vehicle is in good shape other than the motor is done.
It is the last Escape that was body on frame. The third gen starting 2013 is build on a Fiesta/car chassy. They might look bigger than they are. If you would sit in one like this one you would see that it doesn't feel big on the inside.
I have a 2012 with the v6 as my first car and it has been dead reliable and it is great in the snow and has tons of space for all my stuff. Its a great first car in my opinion.
Cool video!!! 🤗🚗❤️ My husband and I put in for a loan to get one we seen because my back car which was are second backup car my 2014 Kia Soul had gotten stolen last month on July 20th but I wanted to keep my car after the insurance company totalled it and they cut us a check for $2,034.00and I have to work with my husband to work on the damage from the Kia Boys who stolen it they stripped it from the decals and they left some body damage on it after they had intentionally crashed it into a garage. We have to work on getting my Kia street legal again. My husband and I went around today looking for another car and we seen at a local used car place we bought from where we live in Rockford, Illinois and we seen a Black 2011 Ford Escape for $6,000.00 and my husband applied for the loan and looks like we're going to be getting it. I love the smaller car and it's a lot like my Kia Soul too. I was wondering if you're in Elgin, Illinois because I and my husband and my now grown-up twin son's that are 32 years old we lived in Elgin for 21 years and we lived in here in Rockford, Illinois for the past 16 years.

I own a 2011 XLS 2.5, and I’m pretty impressed of how much power that engine can deliver. It can get up and go.
The smaller 4 cylinder engine is also lighter. Makes the Escape pretty nimble I guess.
I had a 2011 XLT 2.5 and now a 2012 3 liter
Yours is probably "just" a FWD. That's why.

U have to lift up the bottom of the seat then take off headrest then top slides down flat
dude. thank you so much
I had an 03 escape v6 it had 250k on it when I sold it. It was a great car. Just bought a 12 xls 2.5. I love these suvs.
I like its modest size, neither too big nor too small. Great for city driving & parking 👍
I agree, especially for city parking.
It's an awesome suv for city and highway driving, not super small but not too big either, makes an excellent daily driver
It has an overall perfect size.
So I just bought a 2014 smart car for 10,000 had it for two days took it back for a 2011 Ford escape good or bad decision
Excellent decision. Happy with it?

I’m getting a rare 2010 xls or rather escape in general. Mine is a 5 speed. I currently have a down payment for a hold.
Nice! I hope you get it. It’s a nice little SUV
I’ll be getting it for sure. In 2 weeks I get my financial aid return so I will be buying it
@@xanderharmening8166So, how do you like it? Fun shifting? Good on gas eh?

So it’s like a mini sleeper or a family suv?

У меня такой. Я довольна, Задний ряд выкладывается в ровный с багажником,вы неправильно сложили сиденья.
Good tour. Just found one for a great deal...just like this one, for $3500...🤔
Lucky. 😁
mileage?
Mileage and condition?
Good on gas I guess.
Is this truck good for highway driving
My grandma has one but it has no sunroof
Is this a good first car?
I actually have a 2010 escape i4 awd and it has been more reliable than my moms new toyota weirdly enough. totally recomend it

@@DorianPrykeYou love driving it?

I do!! It’s pretty fun to drive and has plenty of power, I just drove it through the mountains today and I had a blast!
Le pédale qui se trouve à gauche du freinage c est quoi au juste ?
C’est le frein à main, ils sont comme ça aux us, tu appuis dessus pour le mettre et si tu tire sur la languette au dessus ça l’enlève
I have a XLT but my engine doesn’t look like that
Decent example for a non-Limited.

Stationed in Rockford!
If you're still shopping for an Escape I like to suggest a 2010-12 Limited with navigation package. You'll love it. I promise. ❤
