    I agree with you! I bought MacBook Air 13 inch and had to return it because it's just too small and so i got the MacBook Air 15 inch instead. I noticed a huge difference when it comes to its sound. I'm glad I changed my mind. The size of 15 inch is what I needed and the great sound it produce is just a PLUS! I really love the sound from my 15 inch compared to air 13 inch!

    I went to best buy looking for the 15” Air however, when i saw the 13” and hold it in hands, catches my full attention. I was looking for a portable macbook, the screen size of the 15” is amazing but for my personal needs the 13” is more portable and light. Im a salesperson that walks a lot customer to customer. If you are looking for a macbook portable go for the 13” everything else I recommend the 15”.

    Ive had my MacBook Air for about 8 months, now. When researching it, I made sure I got the fifteen inch, along with the 512GB SSD. I ordered it with 8GB ram - a bit risky I know, but I was on a tight budget being a pensioner, and didnt want to risk the 256GB model. With the ram though, I was a bit worried at first to be honest. I didnt need to, though, as it sails through everything ive thrown at it, including Resident Evil 4 and Adobe Premiere & Photoshop, etc etc. Okay, it may take 2.381 or whatever seconds longer, but ive been around for a century and a half, so it really isnt an issue. Im delighted with it, and am seriously thinking about getting an M3 Air, but with 24GB ram and 2TB hard drive. This will probably be my last new machine, so it will be something to look after me as I lost my partner at the start of the year. Cant wait to get it!

    Having used larger displays (15in and 16in Pros) in recent years, I decided to try the small 13in Air. It's really cool. Very light and thin. I wasn't sure I'd keep it, but I think I will. it will be my traveling Mac and my 14in Pro and other Pros will be my at home workstations. thank you again. Best!

    Thank you so much! That helped me with my choice!
    Because i work on Logic pro 90% of the time and use my laptop i would say almost only at home, i choose the 15 inch! I was using logic pro on my ipad pro 11 inch which i selled to my brother. I mainly produce in my bed or couch and only carry it with me at home.
    So regardless of 13 or 15 inch, both would be an upgrade because my 11 inch ipad was way too small for logic pro, but i think because of the bigger screen and the better speakers and because i nearly never travel with it, the 15 inch mac book is the better choice for me! ☺️👌🏼
    Thank you so much! 🙏🏽 I hope it was the right choice! 😬🤷🏽

      In basic comparison: iPad Pro 11inch vs MacBook air 13inch is the MacBook clear winner. Especially the battery life of new iPads Pro is disaster. I bought the 13inch version(basic specc), and sold it because it consumed 3 precent of battery per day even I did not touch it either! And a top of it all: everything was turned off: no animations/no gfx/no email incremental push ups, etc. ... with really very good wifi access at home. even iPad Pro M4 is monstrously powerfull device for the proffesional gfx work I cannot recommend it. It is aimed for the outdoor, or mobile work and if you burden it with heavy duty work on gfx basis it will deplete the battery in very short time.

  • @newQns
    @newQns 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    It seems like you didn't got much out of the extra 8Gb of RAM in your personal 13", would you confirm that (Benchmarks etc)? I decided for the 16Gb/1Tb 15" after doing some research and I feel like I made the right decision regarding the "performance sweetspot" and perhaps also "resale value". I know this decision is very personal, but regarding SWAP, higher lifespan of the SSD compared to the smaller sizes and some Benchmarks I found via YT, which basically detected just a minor difference between 16 and 24Gb of RAM, I chose like I said. What do you think? Perhaps I will run into bottlenecks running VMs or heavy Audioprojects, but for now these situations are rare and I can't complain as of today. I exclusively run one or the other thing and audiowise I mostly track/record and sometimes edit small projects, very rarely I have big ones, but I'll see how it handles them soon. :) Thank you for you video.
    PS: I plan to use this machine for a LOOONG time!

    13.6-inch M3 Air for adults 5'8 or shorter.

      Ok I do have a ps5 and enjoy play AAA games on it BUT you just can’t play games like world of Warcraft, total war on ps5 and even games like cities skylines are so much better playing with a laptop… and by the way pc windows machines are not an option, so MacBooks are great for gaming depend on your demand

      For video editing… you can buy used or refurbished M1 Pro or M2 Pro MacBook Pro. As long as it has 16GB RAM and minimum 512GB SSD you’ll be good.

      16GB is totally fine for what you're looking for. You can always get an external SSD if your internal hard drive is running low :)

    I bought a MBA13 24GB/1TB, massive mistake, I should have got a MBP 14. The machine as just not anywhere close to the MBP. 8GB is not enough, so by the time you’ve upgraded to at least 16 and 512, you might as well get the pro
    Don’t buy

    • @nothingtosee7718
      @nothingtosee7718 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@bryanmz05 no should have just got a MBP with 18GB. But arguably, RAM is king, more performance, less swap. So 24GB is the fastest it will ever be. It’s just the MBP is significantly better and faster in every way.

      "so by the time you’ve upgraded to at least 16 and 512, you might as well get the pro" well not really, where I live, for the price of an air m3 16/512, I can only buy a pro 8/512, and it seems to me that 8gb of ram in such a laptop is not enough, and the 16/512 version costs $500 more

    • @nothingtosee7718
      @nothingtosee7718 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@squatch4517 RAM and SSD upgrade costs are the same on both machines, so you still have parity and it still means the MBA isn’t worth it, nor does it have the same power. Therefore value prop statement is the same. MBA makes no sense at all. If it was 1k for 16/512, fair enough, but it’s not, that’s $1600 with tax vs $2000
      Always get the MBP..
