Your awesome, I am late to this beautiful video. I teared up. As a mother of two teens now and going thru PPD for both, life was very scary, anxiety of being a horrible mom. But thankfully even thru my mental struggles I am doing the best I can for my two kiddos. I honestly did know you uploaded a birth story. But I am so happy for you and your precious familia. the pictures with you, nassim and amélie in the operating room almost brought me to tears. i know when i was born my mom didn't get to meet me for a very long time after her c section so i'm glad you got to spend that time with them :')) i'm so glad you are all doing well and that noah is adjusting well to his new sister
Same. My mom said she didnt get to see me for like 2 hours. They just gave me to my dad and he left the room.
With the shakes in the operating room, I get that. I've had over 15ish surgeries in my life and every time I've had a surgery, I shiver like no tomorrow! They have to keep bringing me heated blankets because I get that cold! Also I'm so happy that you had such a calm and in control experience with your c section
Your journey has so many parallels to my mom's parenting experience! My older brother (a Leo) was a long, painful labor and he had digestive issues and was just hell on wheels in general. I (a Scorpio) was an easier/short labor and apparently was also an easy baby despite having kidney problems and needing surgery at 7 months. My mom always said God gave me her because she needed one easy one after my brother 😂 So happy to see these updates after being around since your wild storytime days! Congrats on growing your sweet family and the new house 😊 She's beautiful!

My last pregnancy I was on antidepressants and it was night and day! I enjoyed it so much more ❤️ The stress probably effected your milk supply, so glad to see how relaxed you are 🥺

I love that your story is so positive and happy!! I've had two girls via C-section, and the recovery is no joke. And I had the same experience, with the intense full body shaking, before and after surgery 🤷🏼♀️ it's so sweet that you're enjoying all of it, and loving life. I'm happy for you all!

I understand the wanting your kid to grow up. Mine had lots of trouble, he always got hurt and had a hard time eating food sometimes cause he would choke. It made us super anxious all the time but it happens to us mommas all the time. You're never alone. The good thing to remember is that everyone got through it and things just happen

I can't tell you how much I love how open and transparent you are when it comes to pregnancy/motherhood and mental health. I struggle hardcore with what sometimes feels like crippling anxiety and depression and bipolar type two, and I am absolutely terrified of bringing children into this world and being their mother. I've always wanted children but the idea of small helpless humans that my body will go through an ordeal to create and birth solely relying on me for survival when I can't even rely on myself is downright scary. My children deserve a happy and healthy mother and I'm so scared that as much as I want kids and I know I'll have an amazing support system, I won't have that maternal instinct and feel a connection with my baby/ies. And that thought kills me daily. I appreciate so much that we are taking strides with mental health and women like you are breaking the stigma and knowing it's okay to ask for help when you need it. I know this was a long ass trauma dumping comment but just know that I so deeply appreciate you 🥰

Omg I had that with my nephew (my brother's son). He had very bad acid reflux, he would literally choke and panic. Which is weird to see especially on a baby's face. I wanted him to grow up cause I would be stressed all the time. Now he is 1 years old (also November) and it's the cutest little baby kid ever! Bless you, your children and your family! Good luck

Congrats!! My little guy is 4 months old. My oldest turned 2 last Tuesday. My son was a scheduled c-section.. and he was rushed via ambulance to a NICU 80 miles away. About 18hrs after my c-section, I asked to be discharged to be with him and my husband. He had a pneumothorax. Fortunately he recovered fast. I don't know if it's the antidepressants (PPD/PPA) either, but I'm soaking in everything. Both boys are so chill. They both sleep through the night (I was expecting colic... no sleep...etc). I knew my son was going to be my last, so I'm trying to soak in everything. I feel like my family is complete. It's corny, but I'm really happy.

I have to say- I’m SO thankful for this video. I had my second baby dec. 1 and it was a very scary, very traumatic c-section. My first was born in a very traumatic vaginal birth and I’ve been really struggling with the idea of having anymore children. I just don’t feel like I can handle the idea of another traumatic birth. I’d never thought about the peace that could come with planning a c section and having time to mentally prepare for it.
