My mom raised 4 boys, including me, while having her MIL live down the street from us. Grandma never just showed up when she felt like it, only when invited, or asked, because of family emergencies.
Should never give your mil a spare key to your house. She doesn't have a right to enter your house without your permission. Change the locks. Put up cameras and a security system. Call police file breaking and entering along with trespassing charges on mil.
Daughter gave us a spare key, I wouldn’t dream of going in without one of them knowing, I would even tell them when I left too. I didn’t touch anything that didn’t concern me.
Mil comes over to an empty house because shes lonely? Then goes thru the fridge and tastes the food and throws it out?
Does not compute. Shes crazy. She doesnt believe that dil has to prepare special diets for her son because of his food allergies so it tastes differently from mils taste.
Jessica has ZERO respect for her DIL. Swaning into her son's home any time she wanted and insulting DIL'S housework and cooking were how she entertained herself. Jessica is too focused on her own life to give a rat's arse about her grandson. She is SHOCKED to discover that there are repercussions for her behavior.
Mil was awful and to ruin her grandson birthday was terrible I am happy that they cut ties, I can’t understand these horrible mother-in-laws
It sounds as though this woman has 1 grandchild and she can't remember his birthday? I have 13 grandchildren and remember ALL their birthdays.
Aww, you sounds as a wonderful grandmother, much as my grandparnts when they were all still alive, I will always love them.
Sounds to me that the mil just wants to nag her dil and give her unsolicited advice on how to raise her child.
Both of my Grandma's had 10 plus grandchildren each, and always remembered our birthdays, other important events in our lives. I miss them both.
@@steveroe6771my elderly mother wrote down all our birthdays, children and grandchildren on a piece of paper which she has put on the fridge under a fridge magnet. This way she never forgets to ring.
It's not your time MIL! My mother could get a whole shopping cart of groceries for $20. I go to the store and I carry out $100 worth of groceries in 1 hand! And MIL can shovel it about making sweets!

Brilliant idea. Why doesn't Matt's wife tell him if he really wants his mother to not feel lonely he should pack his bags and go live with her. Then change the locks.
They should just ask MIL how much she plans to give them every month to make up for the loss of income, to make sure the child gets enough food etc.
