Why is it that most of the writers who pen these stories play safe with Highschool dropouts or overbearing Mother-in-law's or Fiance stealing? The odd story appears now and again on a totally fresh and original storyline, but on the whole I think the idea of keep repeating stories that have already been done over and over again begs the question " is it time to replace the writers"? Just a thought!!!

I listen to these when doing random things. They continue to be the same type to where I started to think back to when I first enjoyed them. Now, it's literal repeats. I'm exhausted with the whole CEO/ married to the CEO trope. I want a story where the underdog is really just the underdog and lives a happy life after karma hit the person that wronged them, not mysteriously end up making 200x above them muahaha style. The whole lack of education, surviving society, monster in laws, male heirs only, dumping water/wine or slapping ppl upon meeting first time is just idk. I just laugh thinking who really gets so offended when first meeting someone? It is so silly.😂 I kinda wish they went towards suspense and horror!

Marcus: 🎵Anyone who bullies my sister / could too easily do the same to me / I can't love someone like that / I can't make her my world / Mandy went too far to cause my sister great hurt / okay so my sister dropped outta high school / that don't give Mandy the right to act like a fool / she has blown her last chance / I can't love someone like that🎵

Actually this has been a thing for all levels of society throughout all time. Water, wine valuable but significant. Piss pot readily available and significant. Assault without much chance of permanent trauma. Remember we can not kill or injure everyone. No matter what we feel. Instantly “marking” our territory. My significant other chose me. I was the only male that her cat did not pee on. Works both ways, I guess still significant.

So my ASSOCIATE degree in DENTAL HYGIENE (in 1980) and my BACHELOR’s degree in NURSING mean CRAP?
Other words, you’d be okay with my DEAN OF STUDENTS son (who has a BA, an MS AND a PhD) could clean your teeth AND start your IV, and you could manage being the liaison between thousands of students and the administration at a university (as my son does, daily)…making sure you don’t cause death, disfigurement, and without running afoul of STATE and FEDERAL laws concerning student rights and academic policy? Wow. SOME people can manage well without a full college degree (I know several), but not ALL college education is crap. I’m glad the surgery I’m having soon is by a BOARD CERTIFIED surgeon, who actually attended college, medical school, surgical residency and specialization in Endocrine Surgery…as I said not all need a college education to be successful-but you CANNOT and SHOULD NOT make generalizations about the value of higher education. Can you come clean my teeth? I doubt it. I could come do yours, with my EDUCATION and thirty years experience! So please do not GENERALIZE. There are inept, entitled BSers in every field. Not just the college educated crowd. Remember that! Signed, one person who holds an AAS degree in Dental Hygiene and a BS in Nursing! (And the TRUTH remains, most with a college education make significantly more money in a lifetime than those who don’t)

@@cyndicook7755who says? Doesn’t it help if we teach EMPATHY to those who are tasked with helping marginalized folks? We’ll stop having a need for these studies when society full accepts that LGBTQ+ people are human and have the same rights as others. You likely don’t know anyone in a same-sex marriage. You likely have never met a non-binary person. I can say yes to both. But I won’t argue with you. You classified yourself as a unfeeling person by saying the words “Charlie Kirk”. You do know some in his group are now UNDER INDICTMENT for conspiracy to commit election fraud? THAT is a role model for you?

A college degree just means that you spent a year or four, and probably thousands of monetary units, studying one or two things somewhat intensely, so you're slightly more employable in fields related to those topics than the average person on the street. That's it. It doesn't say anything about your character as a person, your intelligence as a whole, whether or not you'd be a good friend or life partner, or any of the myriad of other more meaningful indicators of being a decent, non-toxic human. Your level of education is the last thing I'm worried about when deciding if and how I want you to be involved in my life, unless we're meeting in a professional capacity. If you're not a respectful, kind, trustworthy, and mostly selfless person I'm not going to keep you in my inner circle, no matter how many degrees you have.

  • @JamesMacDonald-xh8rt

In this country no one uses education as the social measure of a person. Education is well respected but never the measure of a person’s character.
As a high school graduate I have many, many good friends with Masters degrees and Ph.Ds….never ,ever a barrier in our friendship…I really find it stupid in these stories.

Water in seen in some cultures as the way god communicate wrath for wrong doing. Maybe that is why throughing fluid such as water or wine at someone appears often in these stories? The same with salt. Salt is used to cleanse an area of bad sprits. The is why salt is either springled or throughn at a place or person.

Assumption is the mother of ALL fuck ups, and it doesn't matter if she dropped out of high school it doesn't make her worthless. Mandy you went to school and you have NO clue on how to be a proper adult. A college degree doesn't mean you deserve any respect. Actions speak louder than words. It's good to know Mandy's time in college wasn't a waste.(sarcasm).
