    LOVE LOVE LOVE your reaction!!!
    SUGGESTION:
“SOMEBODY TO LOVE” live at MILTON KEYNES BOWL, 1982
(This lesser-known concert flies under the radar of most reactors - who DON’T know what they’re missing… The concert is actually called “FIRE At The Bowl”!
…You’ll get a TON of requests to do “Somebody To Love” from the Montreal show because of it’s HD quality - that show was filmed in 35 mm - BUT… if you wanna see the REAL FREDDIE, Milton Keynes is the one to watch!)
This LINK is to an UPGRADED video that’s BETTER HD quality:

There's actually a story about Freddie performing barefoot in shorts. The Montreal concert was not part of a tour, but a two night performance that was filmed. They wanted the band to dress exactly as they did on the second night as they did the first for continuity. Freddie wasn't having it, so came out dressed completely different just to show them who the real boss was! Also check out this song from Wembley 86...I think you'll be stoked at what he's wearing!

When you mention adding more guitar, there's actually a "fast version" of this song that they often played as concert openers (including this one!)
As for the movie, Bohemian Rhapsody, I'm not sure I'd recommend it at all. It's VERY inaccurate and not a recounting of what really happened, though you could say that it gives a good representation of Freddie's personality (in some senses) and the band's struggles gaining a foothold. Watch a documentary before/after for context - I suggest "The Days of Our Lives", which is on TH-cam. Key to know without giving away too much (and feel free to read after you watch, if you're wary of knowing things before going in - sorry it's so long!):
    ---
    1) The band had some arguments and struggles and spent some time "apart" (though not estranged) in the early-mid 80s to pursue other things, but never broke up. Freddie wasn't the first to go solo, either, which is weirdly a huge dramatic plot point in the movie. Roger was - he had TWO solo albums by the time Freddie decided to make his. Roger even sang backup for Freddie and appeared in one of the solo music videos, so it clearly didn't create the huge problem or lack of communication between them the movie shows. It upsets me a little that that's the direction that was taken. It's a complete fabrication. There was some tension over Freddie's sizable advance, yes, but it was nothing like the movie, which tries to vilify Freddie for making a solo album at all, as if he were leaving the band behind. Like I said, Roger did it first anyway, and Brian made his own later as well. They'd been together so long by then that he just wanted to branch out a little, and Queen eventually did come back together with more motivation after Live Aid and produced lots more music.
Roger and Brian both still get emotional when talking about Freddie and clearly hold him in incredibly high regard. They wrote a song for him after he died ("No One But You [Only the Good Die Young]"), and Roger has another song called "Old Friends" written about him. Freddie once wrote a song about Brian when he was having a hard time called "Soul Brother". They loved each other, and were particularly close after Freddie's diagnosis. John adamantly felt no one could ever replace Freddie and distanced himself from the band - he was described as "fragile" afterwards - but supported all projects they pursued. Brian and Roger always seek his approval. Roger has a statue of Freddie in his garden, and Brian took a trip all the way to Zanzibar (Freddie's birth country) recently to learn more about his past. Freddie's sister gave him the tour.
Arguments were more centered around creative directions (the album "Hot Space" was like dance club music most of the band hated, and the movie does show the negative influence of Paul Prenter around that time, which is fairly accurate). Freddie was the first to admit they argued a lot, but they were also much closer than the movie portrayed, imo. I guess they got the closest after the time the movie portrayed, but still. Freddie and Roger in particular had a tighter bond than the movie shows. Roger and Brian made a point of giving an interview one week after Freddie's death, despite being visibly upset, to argue against the media portrayal of him as a wild, out of control drug addict. They said he was never out of control or absorbed with drugs, though he (and the rest of the band) certainly threw WILD, infamous parties with plenty of cocaine. You'd be hard pressed to find rock stars in the 80s who didn't. That being said, no one in Queen - including Freddie - was ever arrested, accused of any terrible crime, or spent time in rehab (I don't judge that last one at all, but still). John Deacon did have quite a problem with alcohol, but it was managed privately. Homophobia played a big part in the media's hateful portrayals of Freddie.
    2) Timelines are different. "We Will Rock You" / "We Are the Champions" weren't 80s songs as the movie shows (I'm sure you know this); they were late 70s songs and much more collaborative than the movie depicts. Minor, but kind of annoying. Freddie was a much larger part of what whole process than was portrayed.
    3) This performance at Live Aid is at the end of the movie as a sort of climax: the film tells viewers that Freddie knew of his diagnosis already by then AND that the band hadn't performed together in years and this was some insane thing to do. They, in fact, performed some of their biggest shows ever to huge stadium audiences on a South American tour just a couple of months before Live Aid. In no way were they rusty with performing! Freddie also didn't receive a diagnosis until two years after Live Aid, in 1987. Lots of creative liberties were taken to make a more dramatic plot.
It just makes me uncomfortable when movies portray a celebrity no longer with us who cannot sign off on it, that's all, especially when so many blatant changes to past events are made. Brian and Roger have defended the movie, but they also didn't have say over the plot particulars and had formed relationships with the actors and film crew - their biggest influence was refusing to allow Sacha Baron Cohen to play the R-rated version of Freddie that Cohen had wanted to play because that wasn't the image of their friend they wanted shown. The movie does get some things right, but it hasn't sat well with me for some reason. Just be aware!
