As soon as they said they are moving out from home I knew is to early for Cynthia. She was not ready at all. She still need her parents and siblings. She looks so mature but inside is still not adult. I do believe is a really good decision.

I think that while you will be missed, you weighed your options and moving home with the family is what's best for you. It was really brave to give it a go and to say that it isn't working for you. I'm hopeful that you'll make regular visits when the house in the valley is ready, but moving from a quiet town to a major city is pretty daunting. Lacey, you did something I was too scared to do 30 years ago, which is dye your hair in an unnatural color. Not that I'm in my late 40s, I love to experiment with colors. I'll soon be sporting black and blue hair, with maybe a little pink mixed in.

I think Cynthia is going through similar emotions to what I went through when I travelled by myself for the first time. Loving the experience, and jumping into challenges, but is very overwhelmed and needs home comforts. I'm glad that the right choice has been made for Cynthia, at this point in time. It's okay to admit the time isn't right, and that you weren't ready.

Honestly, you guys have such a big family and I think that even though Cynthia seems very mature and is very responsible moving so far away with just Lacey might've been just too big of a change at once. Not to mention the fact that she's only 17 which can be easily forgotten because she seems older. I think it's great that she does what she needs to do for herself and that she's welcome to come back any time.

Aww y’all got me with the tears at the end 🥺 I’m glad Cynthia was able to make that decision for herself though! I know it all seems exciting and fun to move out on your own and not have to listen to your parents and be able to make your own decisions and stuff; but it’s actually really stressful being an adult and having to worry about bills and paying them on time etc. I’m sure the pressure of making content for TH-cam to pay those bills also sucks some of the fun out of it too... sometimes you don’t realize how you’ll feel about something until you are in that situation. But I wish you both the best and just remember to take a breather and take care of yourselves and your mental health first! Hugs 💕

Sooo totally understand about keeping the place clean. The struggle is real! Just wait until you have kids and you're trying to look after them and they're also making a mess. I don't know how anyone does it. I'm 51 and I am still terrible at it.
Cynthia I'm glad you were brave enough to do what is best. It's so easy to worry about what everyone else will say, but you are the one who has to live with the consequences of your decisions. In New Zealand it's very common for kids to move out for a while and then come home again. Especially if they move out so young. Moving so far from your parents was really the hard way to do it! I really think it might have had a different outcome if you had just been down the road from them. It's not all bad though. Now you will appreciate everything your Mom does so much more! Sometimes you have to do without something (or someone) for a bit, to make you realise how much they matter.
Lacey I love your hair! Enjoy it while you can. It'll grow out soon enough, unless it fades away first. You made me smile every time you said something about being an adult. Give it 20 years and you'll laugh at yourself for thinking that. I know I sure did (laugh at myself I mean). You are reasonably sensible and responsible, but so much of your thinking is like a teenager. Don't change it though, you'll be an adult for long enough. Enjoy your youth. Love you so much. Hope all goes well after Cynthia leaves. That's gonna feel odd for you.
I have one question to finish with, do you have a PO Box in the valley, or do you just use the St John's one?

So glad Cynthia had the courage to say and admit that it was too early for her to leave her parents' house. I honestly think that if she would have kept quiet, she would have gotten mentally sick holdimg it all in. It is not a bad thing to admit that you still need your parents. They love you and will support you 100%!! And I know you've been wanting to move back, but you will be able to move back to the Valley together with your family and when you're finally ready to fly the nest, they will be a quick car drive away!! I wish both of you the best!! 💖💖

You won't have to wait for the pandemic to be over for a video like that, they do things they're not supposed to during the pandemic all the time like having friends over and not having their friends wear masks in their apartment

@@judithgrehan3493 so you don't think its a problem that they could possibly be spreading the virus by having friends over that could have the virus and not know it since you can be asymptomatic? You don't think its fucked up that over 450,000 people have died from this virus and you don't think we should all be doing our part by not seeing friends and social distancing and wearing masks? Its BULLSHIT that doctors and nurses are putting their lives on the line EVERYDAY to keep people alive and healthy and people like them can't even do their part & not see their friends for awhile. Thats someone who's a piece of shit that seeing their friends is more important than someone's health. If you actually cared about other human beings you wouldn't be doing things like hanging out with friends to even chance getting someone sick and spreading the virus. If people keep doing that this virus will NEVER end. Good God you seriously are so ignorant its mind blowing🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Moving out at 17/18 is totally one of those things that works great for some people but not quite for others. I moved on my 18th birthday to go to university and initially it was rough (living with 5 new people, who also grew to hate each other) but I then had much better experiences living with some friends for the last couple years. Totally understand the feeling of being homesick and hours away from family, but doing that during covid times is understandably a lot more difficult with not being able to see family in the same way. For me, even having lived away from family during term time for 3 years, it became so much harder with not being able to visit home. I'm sure that in time, particularly if its once covid's gone and when the family are back in the valley and nearby, then moving out will be a lot easier once you feel you're ready! Also I imagine that you will miss certain things from your taste of freedom once you're back home, but you'll also appreciate more of how a home is managed from your bit of experience, so sure you'll be more than ready when the next time comes around. Best wishes, stay safe, and I'm hoping Lacey has a brother/friend/housemate who'll keep her company!

So you had a great adventure together. That's what being sisters is all about. Supporting each other and having fun together. You did that in St Johns, you did that now in the Valley with your move and you will do that in future. You guys give each other wings to grow in a direction each of you have to go. Enjoy the ride ladies and never regret any decisions. You learn from it all and change is as good as a holiday so if you need to change a decision, SO BE IT!! It is all part of what makes live interesting. Much love from sunny South Africa ❤️

I'm so sorry that Cynthia is moving out, but it takes a lot of courage and strength to realize that maybe it wasn't perfect timing. It shows how grown up you are. Things will look up soon and y'all are going to do great things. Focus on being a teen while you still can Cynthia, it's okay. Being a grown up sucks. I'm 24 and I would love to be your age again! Love y'all

I am so impressed with the maturity you both have shown. These are not easy decisions. Kudos to Cynthia for recognizing what she needs and taking the steps to make it happen. I agree with Dana Salberg below who said Cynthia moving too gave Lacey the extra boost she needed to make the move. It was a great decision. There's nothing wrong with having done that and now Cynthia returning home. I'm happy sad along with you and look forward to continue seeing videos of both of your journeys.

Nothing to be ashamed about. You guys are making choices that are best for you all. It's hard to do sometimes. Cynthia, you got a glimpse of what to expect when you are ready to move out and will be in an excellent position to be super successful. Lacey, and you will continue your learning to be super successful as a young woman living away from home. What a wonderful learning experience for both of you in a safe place. Way to go! Best wishes for continued success.
