My parents never got married and had 3 kids. They've always found the cost that people spend on weddings to be absurd and it just wasnt a priority for them so they used that money to put towards a house.

We waited 6 years to get married ... we had a decent sized wedding but my mom paid for it and some of it still turned out awful :( ( a “friend” took our pictures and then for some reason stopped talking to me right after and said she lost all the pictures but 50 of them :( so I have none of me getting ready none of mr and my grandparents none of me and guests none of our families together

@@deibooks I have to preface this with I don’t advocate teen pregnancy but… Every woman has the right to their own body and yes she is young in age and only just moved out however she is earning her own money, has her own place and an amazing support system behind her. University and college isn’t for everyone and it isn’t just for those straight out of high school. Success should not be measured by the amount of degrees you can accumulate, how well you can study and a college/university education is no guarantee of a job after graduation. As a society we need to stop judging others by the standards we set for ourselves and instead of telling kids not to do things educate them on all the consequences and letting them make their own choices. We all have free will and some prefer to have family before a career while others do it the other way around. She has a great support system and that matters as it sets her up for much better success than most young women her age. I would assume it's unplanned simply because relationship is very new, most people don't plan on getting pregnant within the first year of meeting someone. You can be against romanticizing this situation without being negative or judgemental. I'm not into shaming girls and young women about unplanned pregnancies but I'm also not going to encourage it in a generalized way. I think she's in a situation where she will be fine, but I wouldn't want to glaze over reality because there could be young girls not in an ideal situation who could want this for themselves. Not that, that would be at all Lacey's fault, it's just an unfortunate consequence of having a large presence in social media with young viewers.

You guys are going to be great parent’s! ❤️ I am 21 and currently 8 months pregnant with my first baby and let me tell you it’s a roller coaster of emotions, but it is so definitely worth it! My dad has always told me that you can never fully be prepared for a baby at any point in life, you just have to go in with your head high and do your best. Your baby will love you no matter what your age is, relationship status is, or financial status is. A baby doesn’t necessarily have to have two married parents, they just need happy loving parents. Aw, her parents were so supportive!!! I haven’t been watching y’all as much as I used to, but I still cried when I saw everybody’s reactions. I know a lot of parents would be so angry and unsupportive, but I know that they’ve talked about multiple things that happens that some people wouldn’t be okay with like divorce. My parents never got married and had 3 kids. They've always found the cost that people spend on weddings to be absurd and it just wasnt a priority for them so they used that money to put towards a house.

We waited 6 years to get married ... we had a decent sized wedding but my mom paid for it and some of it still turned out awful :( ( a “friend” took our pictures and then for some reason stopped talking to me right after and said she lost all the pictures but 50 of them :( so I have none of me getting ready none of mr and my grandparents none of me and guests none of our families together

Ya my mom would of gave me a whooping lol, well I'm not surprised because it's not new when all my friends had babies at 14-19 yrs of age, I'm the only one who hasn't had a child I'm 32 but at this point I dont think there will be a child in my future. Every woman has the right to their own body and yes she is young in age and only just moved out however she is earning her own money, has her own place and an amazing support system behind her. University and college isn’t for everyone and it isn’t just for those straight out of high school. Success should not be measured by the amount of degrees you can accumulate, how well you can study and a college/university education is no guarantee of a job after graduation.
As a society we need to stop judging others by the standards we set for ourselves and instead of telling kids not to do things educate them on all the consequences and letting them make their own choices. We all have free will and some prefer to have family before a career while others do it the other way around.
I wish Lacy and Eli all the best and pray for Gods blessing on this pregnancy and the life they are creating together.

@@kels0jade6 People mature as they get older and Lacey is young, children complicate things(not a bad thing, but it does make things harder). She has a great support system and that matters as it sets her up for much better success than most young women her age. I would assume it's unplanned simply because relationship is very new, most people don't plan on getting pregnant within the first year of meeting someone. You can be against romanticizing this situation without being negative or judgemental. I'm not into shaming girls and young women about unplanned pregnancies but I'm also not going to encourage it in a generalized way. I think she's in a situation where she will be fine, but I wouldn't want to glaze over reality because there could be young girls not in an ideal situation who could want this for themselves. Not that, that would be at all Lacey's fault, it's just an unfortunate consequence of having a large presence in social media with young viewers.

You guys are going to be great parent’s! ❤️ I am 21 and currently 8 months pregnant with my first baby and let me tell you it’s a roller coaster of emotions, but it is so definitely worth it! My dad has always told me that you can never fully be prepared for a baby at any point in life, you just have to go in with your head high and do your best. Your baby will love you no matter what your age is, relationship status is, or financial status is. A baby doesn’t necessarily have to have two married parents, they just need happy loving parents. I wish you both the best of luck! 💕

I got pregnant 3 months after being in a relationship, and we planned it! Crazy right? 4 years later, our daughter is 3, we got married last year and I’m pregnant with our second! Sometimes when you know, you know. But also, it takes a lot of work so really focus on growing your relationship before baby comes! Wishing you two all the best💗

I'm 33 years old with a 7 and 3 year old, Ive been with my boyfriend 12 years but we are not "married" legally. we are Common Law spouses and as far as we are concerned, we are husband and wife and this is our family. Anyone who says otherwise is living in the past. You will be an amazing mother. Just know, parenthood is hard at any age. Just approach it with the positivity and excitement you always radiate and youll do great!

I just had my daughter in March 2021 when I was 18. I’m a single parent (her other parent left us) and this was the best thing that ever happened to me. Especially knowing she’s my rainbow baby. (I lost my first baby when I was 15) I’m alone in this world with my baby but she so amazing I love her so much. I’m so happy for you! You’re gonna be such an amazing mommy!

I got pregnant at 18 also and wasn’t married it was the best thing that has ever happend to me were middle school sweet hearts and we’re still going strong and have 3 kids now! You will be a great mom so happy for you your life will change for the better and I love how supportive your parents are my parents was mad! I was a teen mom at 17 and pepole wernt suportive and didnt understand why I was so happy to be carrying a child, but the gift of life is a wonderful thing and dont let anyone bring yall down. Congrats Lacy and Eli!
