you are absolutely correct lacey. that teacher should have been fired. teachers have to report things they hear, but privately and with family. no student should ever hear anything
Suggestion lacy should be a psychologist that is partenerd with a high school. so kids can come and talk with out the school telling the psychologist what to ask the kids. like lacy said hers told her what college is she looking at. more like a one on one talk based one individual. likes, strengths, weakness, and ability's

Lacey, I am currently working on my master's degree in K-12 school counseling and it is SO much fun. Don't let the amount of schooling freak you out-- it's basically a master's program taught by therapists, which makes for the best school experience ever, lol. You would be a fabulous school counselor! If you ever have any questions, feel free to reach out!
Btw, Lacey, don’t worry about moving out. Like you’re barely 18, I’m Hispanic we move out at like 20 or if there’s a good reason to move out.

It’s so crazy how every country is sooo different! In my country, if you move out at 18, gurllll there’s something wrong 😂 it’s either you got pregnant or you hate your parents lol I don’t really see a point of moving out so young before everything is settled down idk. Don’t feel pressure to move out Lacey! You can tell how much all your family members love your presence!
I could be your grandmother so I'd like to see you think of a long term career. TH-cam won't last forever. College is a great way to meet people and you learn so much to help you mature.
Lacey, before you said that you want to become a therapist I said it for you. You have that in you and it's something that I noticed few months after I started watching you ladies videos. You have therapist qualities and I feel like if you pursue it you will help a lot of individuals. You are so inclusive, respectful and considerate, God bless your heart❤
Also Cynthia, I think you can do great with kids like a kid nurse. You are such a sweet girl, loving and fun. It's ok not to know what you want to do, you're still young you'll figure that out as time goes by. I’m 21 and live at home and go to school online, I 10/10 recommend living at home rent free while you can!! Very smart and responsible to save up!!

And since we’re on that subject, to everyone that isn’t cis or straight especially young people, you don’t HAVE to come out, don’t feel pressured to do that it might put you in harms especially when you’re in school, it sucks i know but just know most lgbt people don’t come out in their early days, and you’re not alone on that at all, your mental and physical safety is your priority, just save as much money as you can in case something goes wrong.

My brother is currently studying different languages and wants to be a flight attendant. He applied but was rejected due to covid. He had a degree but had chosen to take another since he realized how he loves to travel. I think it is important to know what you really want first before committing on a life changing decision. We will all get to know what we really want someday, life is not a race. I just felt like giving you some advise haha

Im your Mom’s age and one of my biggest regrets is doing things how everyone else does. Your parents seem cool as far as letting you make your own choices.
But I regret going to college right after high school because I was pushed to and I dropped out after a year. Went to work for many years and then just ended up getting my associates degree while working which I started at 25.
Driving I did not get my license until I was 18. Thats fine as long as you get your license do it when you have some level of being comfortable.

Cynthia, flight attendants and pilots have some really cool TH-cam channels and instagrams and definitely make $$$ from it plus cool brand deals. You’d basically combine your travel adventures along with industry advice. You’d probably generate more money from your channel than actually being a flight attendant 🤣

Sorry I’m kind of commenting as the video plays because I am having a real time lately remembering things because I have so much going on with doctors appointments and everything ... and I’m only 14 or so minutes in.so I don’t wanna forget with the comments. I feel like everybody is trying to push on you moving out. A lot of comments and everything.... like come on guys. You don’t have to move out the day after you turn 18. I didn’t move out until I was 20 and that was four years ago
there was a mix between people who called me irresponsible for wanting to move out so “young” and then people who thought i was dumb for not moving out yet. so i just thought i’d clear the air :)

Do you know how to pump gas? Find the oil stick? Where to put windshield solvent in car? Know how to open your hood? Can you see on a button? Clean a toilet? Do your own laundry.
Basic budgeting . Learn how to be frugal.
So much to learn.
