      I downvote because he teaches to avoid certain people "because they can't be fixed" and tells to "respect them from far away". As if he talks about respecting a pile of shit from far away. That is an illusion of respect. True respect starts when you do not think some people are better or worse to approach than others.

      @@sergevinogradoff6024 I think he's speaking in regards to romantic relationships. Romantic relationships require both parties to be comfortable with one another. When I am looking for a partner I want to be comfortable with them. Feel open to share my feelings and emotions, without them dismissing them - I want to be understood and respected. And if I'm planning to spend the rest of my life with someone, we should share common life values, goals, and interests. That doesn't mean I will condemn them if we don't, I'll respect them as people and hell we could probably make great friends. But we wouldn't be compatible as life-partners. I think that's the message he's trying to give.

    You cant correct bad behavior without shame and punishment. I like his message, i really do....but its the fact that these girls are not shamed or ostracized for their actions. Its the reason why the out of wedlock birthrate is so high, why divorce is so high, and why dating and mating is so messed up.

      I respectfully disagree. Shame, punishment, and ostrasizing is not the way. I don't think I've ever seen those methods work in my life. When you push someone, they push back. They hate you and convince themselves more firmly that they are right and you are wrong.
      The sensei is right. He told the girls that they were princesses and indirectly that they shouldn't be sitting on the ground, and after further affirming that identity (which they didn't believe at first) they got up. I praise and encourage people, and they change instantly, or at least make up their mind to in that moment. I know I get better results than people who criticize, condemn, and judge. The latter actions fuel the problem which is often the result of some deeper wound.

    • @jasonfields7058

      @@user-yc8xw8bd5r That is the problem right there. You are going off of the fact that we removed those methods for correcting bad behavior when they worked in the past. They will not listen to you given there is no consequences for those actions. Its that simple. You can make a mistake from time to time and it wont be a big thing but when it becomes a pattern and more specifically a reflection of a bad character trait, that is when you use those methods to correct it. Look at the world now and the majority of people have the same ideology as you but the problem still persist. The whole time out, sit in the corner, generation doesnt work and works actively allow people to act stupid and to break the rules. Judgement works, criticism works(constructive criticism). You shouldnt be called a "princess" when you dont act like it.

      You know what also worked? Killing those who don't follow our beliefs. Will you suggest to do that next?
      Just because something has been done in the past does not mean that it is good.

    • @jasonfields7058
      @jasonfields7058 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Eme A you mean living by rules? It's really that simple. You break those rules and you get punished for it. Depending on how important the rule is reflects the severity of the punishment. Ya keep going to the extreme about being pure and you are full of shit. Stop doing that. We all SHOULD live by the rules and you are guided accordingly. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone? Sure but you still have to pay the price for the damage you caused by the behavior. It's that simple.
