This is a really good example of what a Christian-atheist debate looks like. The atheist is trying to make allegations of the Christian being racist, homophobic, hateful, lying or whatever else there is, and then twisting the Christian's words and misquoting them to "prove" that that the Christian religion in hateful, without ever studying the religion and its scripture. And even when the Christian is still able to answer all of the questions respectfully, they interrupt them in the middle of their sentence and not listening to a word of the Christian's point. It is really hard to prove something wrong when it's just simply truthful. Find Jesus
To your point, I had a similar but much, much shorter debate with someone in a similar spiritual trap just yesterday. I had commented only because the atheistic view was to attack our intellectual capacity as believers in the Heavenly Father and Our Lord. When I pointed out that the logic the individual was following to attack me throughout the debate was inconsistent and the fact that instead of answering my counterpoints (not one counterpoint attacked the individual), the individual would move to the next attack, I saw in this the satanic "effect" on the person's perception; I then said that in my observation their mind was made up and I was moving on, thank you and I wish the best for you. The individual then claimed that I was being sarcastic about wishing them the best. My final response was that not only was I being honest but I still wished only the best for them. They simply couldn't accept that. To me, that is the essence of the "satanic effect" you will not accept anything that is good in your heart and believe that anything good or bad is a random happenstance of the universe. Yikes. Pray deeply for the atheist to come around, they are stuck deep in the mire.

I was like that woman before and truly believed I had found the answer and was doing good, but in reality I refused every Idea but my own.
After searching for a long time, studying the many religions and occultists of this world, I have yet to find a story more filled with love and truth, then the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I find that the Bible is an exceptional example of a very logical and loving way to live, free of selfish behaviors with a heavy focus on communicating the right thing.

As an African who knows about our religious practices before being introduced to Christianity I can say with complete confidence, it is not something you want in your life.

Let me clarify then.
Traditional religion is horrible and Christianity is wonderful. Any regular person who learns about both will abandon the former.
I'm from Nigeria. The British empire did colonize us but they didn't destroy our traditional religions. So we are taught about it in school and we experience it in our lives. That is why traditional religion is very unpopular today.
It is meant to work in a monarchy (at least the Yoruba customs).
It has very oppressive rites like Oro (A ceremony that allows the kings people kill other people who leave their houses during a certain period of time) and another rite (I forgot the name) that has masqueraded people take money from traders under the threat of being physically assaulted (Literally robbing people in broad daylight).
It promotes and necessitates witchcraft (not the American fantasy witchcraft with the hats and all that. The proper witchcraft that includes human sacrifice, stealing of personal property, maiming of people, etc). We still get news reports of people kidnapping, torturing and killing people for witchcraft till date (I just heard about a man being killed for witchcraft yesterday).
It doesn't teach any values but the practitioners flaunt their violence, wickedness and brutality to us while promoting love and peace to the world.
That's just the Yoruba side.
There was a tribe that killed twins born to them because they believed they were cursed and it took a missionary, Mary Slesor, to stop it (This is history so you can check it).

Yesterday I was in a place, in Lagos, Ikorodu. I grew up Buddhist my dad was a Buddhist monk. Walked His path for 12 years. Converted to Christianity because I realized Buddhism is 100% in Christian faith but Christianity is not 100% in Buddhism because Buddhism is “incomplete.”

My rebuttal to this woman’s questions on my ancestors is that I don’t care what my ancestors thought or believed. If you are given a better way now, just like the parable of the wineskins, if you put your new ways in the old body, the body is made worse and both are ruined. You need a new ways and a new body, so both are preserved.
If you try to carry the traditions of your ancestors and they compete/clash with the ways of Christ, you end up with a wonky view of how to get by in the world, which in time, you would have to choose between which way of life to follow.
The truth is that the entire world was pagan at one time and then in the Middle East, God appeared to Abraham which led the Hebrew nation to appear and then Jesus to come with the Gospel and from there in Israel it began to spread all around the world. So, the Europeans were pagans just like African people.

It is a grievous attempt to justify paganism (or other religions in general) on her part. If you know what is definitively better and true, why go back to the old ways? Acknowledging that these types of people who were in our lineage is important but following their ways is not. There are many Christians who have had atheists in their ancestry among other beliefs- it doesn’t mean their history was stolen or they were brainwashed into believing otherwise. I live in northern Europe and what has happened in the last 20-30 years is very sad, when I was in school in the 90s over 80% of the students believed in Biblical God. In 2020 only 15% of students said they believe in God. Most become atheist/agnostics but a large and growing group return back to their pagan Nordic gods.
Jesus said that people come to light but won't stay long and will return back to darkness and their latter condition will be worse than at the beginning. This is what seems to be happening right now.

This is what it’s like having a conversation with my wife right now…my family is in need of prayer. I’m honestly fearful of her at the moment, and I’m having a hard time getting support from the people around me because she acts almost totally normal in front of others.

People would starve and get into debt very easily which is why slavery persisted since ancient times through industrialization even into today.

@ 6:54, we see that this girl is knowledgeable but immature. Her frustrated huff shows that she’s not getting what she likes so she wants to fight back. She makes herself look silly by not allowing others to voice their experiences, even when she doesn’t agree. She is intolerant, when she expects others to tolerate her.
