I'm glad to see you're doing well, Olive is probably making up for the time you were gone lol (My cat yells at me when I'm gone for a few hours: "Where have you been??" 😾 )
I can attest to not going through surgery alone if there's any way to help that!
I did the whole thing by myself, pre-op prep, during and aftercare. I took the city bus to get to surgery, but had to have an arranged a ride to get home just as a "drop me off" (I was supposed to have someone with me for 24 hours after I got home, but no one was available).
Changing your own socks let alone your own bandages can be very painful and NOT advised! 😱
Eating, dressing, getting out of bed, going to the toilet; it's all more difficult mainly because of trying not to stretch incisions or let anything heal improperly. The other part of it is being tired because your body is healing.
Thank you for the form, it works for more than just one kind of surgery for sure 😊👍

Hahah Olive is the same. She loves the attention! (Which I guess is a good thing right?)
Wow! Surgery totally alone sounds brutal! I'm glad you managed to get through it, but I'm sorry you had to!
No problem :) Hope it's helpful!
