Friggin' cool. Kudos to the camera operator for capturing this unique event so well and uploading. This liberal welcomes the 160th in our fair city. Feel free to return anytime! Night Stalkers never quit.
Awesome stuff! Imagine something like that happening in your town??? It's night and all of a sudden the Army's BEST appear out of the darkness with the most advanced helicopters, offloading The Boogeymen all dressed in black, and in no time, they're gone.
and on top of that if it were not an exercise in your town it is propably one of those "we dont exist and you didnt see anything" types of situations for the record i am not a conspiracy theorist. i would love to observe an exercise such as this. unfortunatley they dont do this kind of training in my small country

@2:51 the first blackhawk that was focused on can be seen catching up to another blackhawk ( right of the screen ) tailing the last Little Bird with his aviation lights on
Why are you concerned with what they're practicing? You think a bunch of SF/Seals/whatever give a rats ballsack if someone doesn't like what type of training they do. Your tax dollars might fund them, but frankly, most of it is none of your business.
It most likely is HRT. Most people are not aware of their capabilities as they have full maritime and airborne capabilities and also operate Blackhawks and Little Birds. it is highly unusual for one of the Tier 1 military units to conduct a full scale exercise in such a public setting since they don't have a domestic mission. HRT gets those callouts due to Posse Comitatus and being a publicly acknowledged law enforcement unit. Unless the Little Birds and Blackhawks were armed, it would be impossible to tell HRT from any other Tier 1 military unit in this video.
@@Andromedon777 Well, for the past 20 years they’ve had plenty of practice in cities like Baghdad, Mosul, and Kabul. Tier 1 units, including 160th have a world-wide mandate meaning that they deploy and train with friendly countries all over the world, and most likely train with host countries in their urban/city areas. In the event of a major domestic terrorism incident HRT gets the call, not these units, so they’re far more likely to be the ones doing the training. The guys in camo that you saw during the Portland riots were FBI, not military, although NG was deployed in some cases.
😂 love the comments of how awesome it was. However no one wondered why they were their in the first place. This wasn’t the only city this happened to. FYI, it was a counter terrorism training operation.
people should understand that at the end of the day it is the military defending everyone's properties and land assets the police play a part for the military to do their job though ultimately.
Wrong, police defend your property. Military defends the country. If you don't understand the difference, educate yourself. Sure, if you do some mental stretching you could argue military defends your property but that's just stupid.
Yes your right. You did read the part where i said that the police are doing this yes but to clarify depending how shall i think the best way to express it is depending on the risk and threat assesment at that time as each situation is unique with its own circumstances present at every required response so on every assessment done which officers cant get into the habit of expirience as often this makes you overlooks things yes this is what they refer to as job experience and also training perception bias filters that develope in someones thinking of doing a job. Yes? Its how sometimes some with experience get hurt or screw up its where the saying comes from Shit happens to the best of us. But again yes your correct but police always need to do a threat and risk assessment as sometimes it might be outside their training capacity which they need to recognise and let other experts leaders in their sector of training come in as it could make a simple de-escalation where everyone goes home peacefully including the threat which has been nuetralised instead turn into a very bad outcome where its escalated and now people are dead being carted off in meat wagons. You know.
I do not know why Civilians make such a big deal about SOF Operators training in Major U.S. Cities, whether TRUE ( Training in Realistic Urban Environments ) or MOUT ( Military Operations in Urban Terrain) ! Marines , SEALs, Rangers, etc and et.al., need the Deployment to Other States and Cities , to get a feel for what Action and Active Combat Operations Downrange will be like, not merely from some static Combat Town or MOUT Site at some Army Post ,Air Force or Marine Corps Base.
Well when they start running landing and reloading in your streets there will be shootings not far off. It was the same in Vegas if most haven't forgot

Happens in Tampa often since MacDill is home of SOCOM, they do a lot of training around here.

Also if you used your head it's obvious they're practicing a night raid/infil-exfil in a city with a lot of buildings and limited LZs
Just be thankful that they do practice, otherwise you could be watching cartel members practicing murder and narcotics distribution instead.
