The idea that for every punch, you start to go up for power instead of just forward is the best advice ever given to keep balance, Alexey Frolov teaches the same, most western boxers should watch these videos
Awesome video focusing on basics and paying attention to detail! It's things that even at a high level you forget, especially with respect to hand injury prevention. Thanks for the video! 💪🏾🥊
So much important details that most coaches leave out when teaching beginners. Ive watched every boxing video on TH-cam and worked with coaches and a few pro fighters. No one has gone into this much detail and explained WHY you should do certain things
i first notice this boxing movement in Usyk, Bivol, Beterbiev, awesome, at first it looks to me like odd but when i watch your video i can see it so scientific, have more video...i like your english too
This is the best instructional video so far. Short and concise in explanation..Ive always wanted to lesrn the Ukrainian style. Thank you for uploading this content. I hope to see more boxing style instructional such as, Kazakhstan style, Russian style, Japanese style, Mexican styie and so on of possible 😅😅
My coaches (from berlin) put a lot of emphasis on defense, where striking and technique becomes not as important. I often felt very gassed very quick from boxing explosive out of a high guard with almost no rythm. These combination punching techs might solve that problem. However it is not the same to have such a craft of master watch over your shoulder and correct you, any ideas how we could get feedback? Perhaps sending in a video of us doing such drills? If people are into that (to see potential common mistakes)
It is similar to false grip used in gymnastics - it is a stronger position of support for the hand and arm. Engages forarm and wrist muscles more effectively.

For any prospective coaches in America, this is very similar to how USA Boxing teaches the bronze clinic/course.

What is happening with that wrist alignment? With the wrist going downward from the forearm?
So what about the 1 pound exercise???
Hi Oleksandr. Would you mind to explain why both wrists must be closed during boxing?

Thank you for the answer.@@maximusrvb
