I'm 66 Japanese J-ARMY and I have loved Professor Sakamoto 's music for more than 40 years. Professor Ryuichi Sakamoto passed away on 3/28/23 before Yoongi's DDay album was released on 4/21/23. Sakamoto released a statement on June 7, 2022 he said, “Since I have made it this far in life, I hope to be able to make music until my last moment, like Bach and Debussy whom I adore.” Yoongi knew he had terminal cancer because his statement spread in South Korea. I'm glad Yoongi met Professor Sakamoto in September 2022 in Japan. Thank you Yoongi and professor Ryuichi Sakamoto. My country lost great composer.
Okey Im here to recommend a brand new singer for your channel. Şebnem Ferah. Turkish singer, songwriter, producer and vocalist. She has been around since 1987. She was in Volvox and Pentagram. She worked with Apocolyptia before Evanescence. She is doing alternate rock, hard rock, pop rock and heavy metal. Im gonna go straight away for song suggestions from 2007 İstanbul Live Concert. My personal favs are -Delgeç -Ben Şarkımı Söylerken -Can Kırıkları AND I am gonna comment at each video so you can see it and dont forget it😅
Since this song was so meaningful, it would be wonderful if you did a follow up reaction where you explore the significance of Ryuichi Sakamoto, who composed and performed the piano instrumentals for the song, and who is pictured in the video. Who he was and his significance to Suga. It would add that much more depth to this song for you and Suga fans. Sakamoto’s daughter has said that this song is a requiem to her father. As mentioned at the end of video, he passed away last year right after the song came out.
I have to be careful when I listen to this one, because I just start bawling my eyes out everytime. Especially when I have lyrics to follow along with. This was Yoongi's comfort song to trainees and artists out there trying to make it. He wanted to give a message of inspiration to them, but in that inspiration you hear so much emotion. I'm a fan of both BTS and The Rose, and Woosung really gave this song the perfect chorus. It's just so beautiful. Snooze is a masterpiece.
Suga is an amazing storyteller and an inspiring songwriter. He is incredible. And Woosungs voice fits so well to transport the feeling of the song..wonderful
@@heathermurray7130 Hi ! Yes , I did. I went from Montreal, Canada to watch the concert in UBS Arena NY ON THE 27 th of April . It was one of the highlights of my entire life . Did you go also ? If so, where and when ?
@@silvy4413 Another 🇨🇦!! I'm in Calgary. We went to Day 1 and 2 in L.A. It was so amazing. When Max came out during Burn It we lost our minds. It was all such a great experience, it was the first time I got to meet other ARMY in real life, plus the best concerts of my life. I can't believe it has been 3 weeks already 😭.
@@heathermurray7130 I know, I felt the same way in regards to meeting other ARMIES. It’s an experience like no other. I must say, I did go watch Yet To Come at the movie theatre, and that was my first ARMY encounter. I’m the only ARMY in my entourage, so I had to drag a friend to both venues. I guess I have good friends that came along to keep me company. Calgary ??? That’s so funny, cause tomorrow my husband and I are going to a boxing gala event ,to watch a boxer we sponsor ,who happens to be from Calgary . His name is Steve Claggett. I wonder if you’ve heard of him…
One of the most hauntingly beautiful songs I’ve ever heard. I broke down sobbing when I heard him preform it live it hit me so incredibly hard when he keeps repeating almost begging us to know “everything is going to be ok” over and over he begs us to internalize that and to dream but also to rest. The fact that Sakamoto is such a musical inspiration to Suga (and my all time favorite composer) and he got to meet him and work in this song with him contributing the piano work before he died. As one of his final if not the final thing he left us. Devastatingly hopeful.

I loved Snooze and I love how well Yoongi and Woosung’s voices mesh so well together…it’s a beautiful thing. I love it even more bc of the meaning when Suga said this song was for the ones behind him (following the same path) and how he will always encourage them to dream.

I hadn't heard the album before I watched "Road to D-Day". The live performance of this song had me stopping dead in the middle to look up just WHO this guy Woosung was. What a voice!!! I've been down a rabbit hole on The Rose ever since. I do hate that this fan-made MV kept cutting away from Woosung while he was performing because his stage presence is a thing. This song/collab is amazing. Both total rock stars. And I've loved Ryuichi Sakamoto for a looooong time. Yoongi's visit to him in the documentary is incredibly moving, especially so close to his passing.
This song is meant for the younger idols and groups that have or will debute/d after BTS at Hybe. It's encouragement, reassurance, and a pledge of support all in one song. The thing is, he genuinely means all of it, too. Yoongi is such an incredible person.
This song impacted me a lot. On my first listen when I heard the lyrics from So Far Away repeated in Snooze I immediately teared up and just felt overwhelmed with so many feelings. Truly one of Min Yoongi's best.
Snooze is my favorite song from the album. The combination of the three artist's musicality, along with the lyrics makes it so beautiful and impactful.
Snooze is definitely my favourite on D-Day. It makes me so emotional, from Sakamoto's piano playing, to Woosung's vocals to Yoongi's delivery and his lyrics. I tear up over a different element in the song every time.

It seems to me that Suga expresses his feelings so well through his music, also he gives us what we need. We connect with his music and lyrics because we can feel them. It’s goes deep. I have no idea why some people think he is cold, to me he is the most emotional, it’s just kept under control for fear of being overwhelmed possibly. Thoughts only. Good to see Sakamoto, I remember him in Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence with David Bowie. Amazing that Suga got to meet him and work with such a great musician before he passed away. Also what a brilliant introduction to The Rose, very impressed.

Going to have my tissues ready at the theater screening of the tour this weekend. Suga's lyrical genius never cease to amaze me & even though at times his personality can be very quiet what he says truly speaks the loudest.
Snooze is my absolute favourite song ever and then Woosung blends in, I just sob and have goosebumps 😭😭 I'm going to have Suga's repeated words "Everything is going to be Okay" tattooed on my upper arm. Suga is my idol and I'm nearly 76 years old. No other singer has made such an impression on me as him! There is just something about this young man that gets to me. Suga has saved me from myself. 😪 He has a beautiful soul. 💜✨️
Snooze is my favorite and Woosung is a perfect fit. This and Amygdala always bring a tear to my eye. Don't apologize for your reaction, it was how you felt and that's what people are here for. 💜

This one is so moving and beautiful (Woosung's voice is incredible), and it is meant to be a source of inspiration and strength for up and coming young artists, with Suga imparting his lessons learned, etc., as well as being an homage to one of his true inspirations, Ryuichi Sakamoto, who passed shortly after Suga had the chance to meet with him in person. Luke, you really need to watch (if not react to) Suga's documentary, Road To D-Day, for it is spectacular and so enlightening-and brilliantly done. May be too long to react to, unless you want to devote a Friday evening to it (we'd all be here for it!). I think this song is Suga's personal favorite on the album as well, but all are fantastic, so yes, you should dive into it-one song at a time or however you can do it. As part of BTS's 2023 FESTA, there is a new song (for Army) debuting on June 9th (Bangtan TV)-and that whole week will be filled with surprises, etc.-including the dinner, so much is happening in the BTS world!!

Hi Luke. Thank you for your reaction. My favorite songs from this album are snooze and huh. I also think the rose deserves much more recognition and i'm glad yoongi invited woosung to sing with him. 😊💜
My fave song in "D-Day" ever since the day it came out was "Snooze"... I loved it even more after Yoongi sang it so emotionally on Day 3 of the Seoul Final gig, he broke down halfway thru and ARMY sang the most comforting words back to him in his own song... then there's Woosung and Ryuichi Sakamoto in this song... Woosung's vocals were so haunting to me that it made me go find out more about him and that's how I went down The Rose's rabbithole and became Black Rose and Woolfpack at the same time... as for Ryuichi Sakamoto, I already knew him from his song "Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence", which is from a movie that starred David Bowie, and Ryuichi Sakamoto also acted in it with him... then as I fell deeper down this other rabbithole, I realised that I had actually loved Ryuichi Sakamoto's music for a long time, cos he was a composer involved in the Oscar-winning OST for the movie "The Last Emperor" starring John Lone, as well as the OST for one of my fave Keanu Reeves movies "The Little Buddha"... just this one song "Snooze" has led me on this whole journey, so needless to say, this song will remain forever memorable to me.

This is definitely my favourite track from D Day, I’ve got my ticket for the live stream of Suga’s concert from Japan on Sunday and I’m getting emotional already. I found The Rose only a few months ago and yes they are so underrated. My favourite track so far is Childhood, the message from the lyrics is so true. Such a beautiful reaction Luke 💜💜
we got SOOO much good music from their solo albums and i hope they continue when they return with team songs as well a mix of both. it would be so cool

Amygdala, Interlude and Snooze are my fav songs - I have them on repeat. I feel like Yoongi and Namjoon are two sides of the same coin: Yoongi is very internalized (if that makes sense?) and brings that inner turmoil/thought out while Namjoon sees and analyzes the external and reflects it back onto himself and his inner self. Not sure if I'm wording it well but I really understand why they've been together for 13 years now - they just fit. What a gift this album and Indigo was (yes, I love the other albums too but these have my heart). Can't wait to see what JK and TaeTae release! Thank you!

Such an amazingly beautiful song. So heartfelt. So powerful. So touching. Love it. Suga is such an awesome musician and he has such a beautiful heart for others. Love him and proudly OT7.
Yoongi is one of the most talented people on the planet!! His rapping, his lyrics, etc. are absolutely stunning!! He always has a message to his fans in his words, whether it's telling us about his own life or telling us about life in general. He is just beginning and he is going to go far!!!!!! Along with DDay song, Snooze is my fav in all album. Yes Woosung is Suga's friend for some years and his contribution to the song made all the difference. So goood I cried when I listened for the first time. And Sakamoto's piano is amazing... 😊😊
Snooze is just on another level ! Suga' rap is not surprising it's always insane, and woosung woo just woo, the beat the piano everything was in point Ryuishi Sakamoto 💜🥀 Thanks for the reaction love it !

Absolutely love this song and is my fav too. I love that he plays the guiltar in here too. He is the best story writer and this is for his juniors and army. He knew what it's like. Sugas my bias because of how he tells story so raw and beautiful. And Woosungs vocals omg so so beautiful.

This is DEFINITELY my favorite of Suga’s songs. I know it’s a fan favorite from his new album, but I’m surprised it hasn’t received more praise from the industry. The composition, the lyrics, the message, the vocals. I mean, it’s just a perfect song.

As a Black Rose and an ARMY, you can not imagine my joy when this was announced. I saw The Rose in concert last year, and they are severely underrated and deserve all the praise and plays.

First time heard this live in Chicago d1, I bawled my eyes out.. couldn’t stop until after polar night which came after.. will never forget.. my favorite out of all his and i love all of his songs but yeah this song hit different
Chicago D-1 was insane. I have seen BTS 10 times in concert. Suga was amazing and the crowd was incredible!!! I've never been to a concert so loud, where the crowd was louder than the artist.

I'm so so glad Yoongi had work together with Ryuichi Sakamoto (the man with glasses that Yoongi had handshake in this video), the Japanese legend musician before he died in this year. It's like Jimin & Taeyang, J-Hope & J. Cole, Yoongi adores Sakamoto & is a big fan.
I have to say that I was blessed to see him both days at his Oakland stop of his D-Day tour. It was just incredible to hear this song live. I was in tears. 54 year old ARMY, brought to tears. We are lucky to have him and the other 6 in our lives.
Omg Luke this song is outstanding. I'm so pleased you reacted to it. Yoongi has really showcased himself on this album and he chose his collabs brilliantly. I was gobsmacked when I heard this.

So inspiring.. suga and bts will always makes me fight for my life even more.. i cry a lot but thanks to bts i face everything in positive way.. Bts music is my vitamins everyday.. love them to the bone.. 💜 Proud army for 5 years!
in this song he is talking to himself aswell as the newer idols who have a hard time also the older one. telling them it´s okay to rest and don´t beat yourself up everything will be fine.
I listened to D-Day on the drive home from work and I had to pull over during this song I was that overwhelmed. This song is for his juniors, to those that are coming through the industry behind him, and BTS. It’s to inspire and reassure them.
This one is one of my favorites!! Its so beautiful and meaningful💜 thank you for your reaction! No isea how suga does it but i agree with you he is really inspiring
The whole album is great. I play it every on my drive home from work. Found Woosung and the Rose from this song. All BTS music is great. Seesaw from Suga is very good and members reaction is fun. This is all coming from 70yo army and grandmother whose granddaughter introduced me to BTS. I also play the Rose album Heal every evening. Love that alblum
I cried hearing SUGA perform “Snooze” @ his D-Day concert..I actually went to all 3 LA shows & 2 Oakland shows..if I could afford to see all his shows I totally would.. #Suga is an organic musical genius ❤️🔥👑..As a solo artist he is a totally different artist & performer than when he is in BTS.. both are amazing.. but #Suga performing his own music is ON ANOTHER LEVEL👑💜🙌🏼
I love this song. I had no idea who the other guy was - a friend had to tell me. lol His voice is hauntingly beautiful. I need to look him up. And can I just say that long haired, leather jacket, guitar playing Yoongi is NEXT LEVEL! 🤯🔥
This is definitely one of my favourite songs off D-DAY, it is so inspiring and beautiful. I had been hoping for a collab between Yoongi and Woosung ever since I found out they are friends. Perfection!
Suga is talking to the next generation of K-pop. He talks about how he had no one to turn to and so is mentoring TXT and other younger idols and telling them the road doesn't have to be as hard as it was for him. 💜👀
I enjoyed your reaction, no need to apologize. This is also my favorite song from D-Day. Question: are you going to one of the in cinema live presentation of Agust D's Concert in Japan? I bet in your city in the UK there must be a couple of cinema presenting 🙄... I hope you do. I am in Germany and I got tickets for this next Sunday June 4th. My sister in Peru got tickets for Saturday June 3rd. We are honestly not sure if the streaming will be simultaneously with the concert because the schedules don't make much sense, but even if it's not totally live, nevertheless it's worth to watch the concert on the big screen. I wish you the best. I purple you. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

You know....... although Yoongi is singing this for his younger crowd, THISSSS... speaks to each and everyone of us, when we fail, when we think we are not good enough, when we doubt ourselves, when we want to give up, when we think that we are no longer worthy of our dreams. IT SPEAKS TO ALL OF US!! @August-D is saying in the lyrics that we need to hear, whether you are 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50 or 60 years old.. it's for all of us... Don't lose sight, keep on going ARMY... And to the rest of the world, doesn't exclude of ages, cultures, when it speaks to you... DREEAAMMM....💯💃🏽💜 Thank you, SUGA 💜💜💜💜 #BTSFOREVER

So just a little insight into this song for you, in an interview Suga said he was dedicating this song to all his Juniors in the industry. He was especially thinking of those who have said to them that BTS was the reason they decided to become idols and chase their dreams. He and Woosung from The Rose are actually friends, and I find it quite Ironic that's who he chose to pen out a hook and sing it. Not only can you feel the emotion whenever Woosung sings or Suga raps, they faced so many hardships in the industry that they can honestly say "Hey, I 've been where you're at. It's okay to rest, it's okay to cry, it's okay to laugh. Remember your dream and why you chased it. I am here for you when you feel overwhelmed, don't give up. Look to me I'll be happy to help you." They both intonate that so well in this song, hence the reason this has become alot of ARMY 'S favorite track on his album. By the way you're correct in stating that The Rose is criminally under rated, I can only hope our boys Midas touch helps them out. Borahae 💜 and thank you for your wonderful reaction as always my friend 🫰! Edit; also the older gentleman that appears in the video was Ryuichi Sakamoto, a world renowned piano composer and one of Suga's Idols. He played the piano piece in this song. I am so glad that Suga got to meet him before he passed away!
Makes total sense. He is an inspiring and incredible human being. I am loving him so much now. Only for this song, the whole album is worthy. I will buy it, by the way ... Promise
You will find very less who will say don't worry everything will be okay..and when someone say this you will feel motivated and energised..and this only BTS can do..this song is incredible ❤❤

I absolutely love Snooze.
Out of all the reaction videos out there for Snooze, I hope someone brought yours to Suga and Woosung’s attention. They would feel moved watching it.

Really is a beautiful song!
I'm obsessed with Snooze. So glad you reacted to this. The moment Woosung started singing... goosebumps, I tell ya! The whole song is perfection.

💯💯💜💜
OMG THANK YOUU!! i’ve been trying to figure out where that line came from i knew it sounded so familiar

Of course, the best song of this álbum. And Woosung is fantastic. Best colaboration ❤❤
Woosung voice very haunting
Snooze is my favorite and Woosung is a perfect fit. This and Amygdala always bring a tear to my eye.
Don't apologize for your reaction, it was how you felt and that's what people are here for.
💜
Thank you for this reaction!!! It's my fav song!! August-D's lyrics and Woosung's voice...just PERFECT!!❤

I love Yoongi's whole album. It's so deep and powerful, but this song definitely got me obsessed with Woosung. What a voice!
Hi Luke. Thank you for your reaction. My favorite songs from this album are snooze and huh. I also think the rose deserves much more recognition and i'm glad yoongi invited woosung to sing with him. 😊💜
💜💜💜💜
He didn’t just invite him to sing on it he asked Woosong for help with the hook and lyrics it was a true collaboration
In his documentary, Yoongi says Snooze was for rookie idols entering their careers. I really recommend you watch his documentary.

Thank you!
Well said.

Woosung’s voice is just heaven and this song is just so precious 🥹
Such an amazingly beautiful song. So heartfelt. So powerful. So touching. Love it. Suga is such an awesome musician and he has such a beautiful heart for others. Love him and proudly OT7.
Yoongi is one of the most talented people on the planet!! His rapping, his lyrics, etc. are absolutely stunning!! He always has a message to his fans in his words, whether it's telling us about his own life or telling us about life in general. He is just beginning and he is going to go far!!!!!! Love him so much!! 💜💜💜
Wish he didn't have to go away for the miliary....I wish none of the members had to.

Suga and Woosung Poets and Angels. The arrangement, harmony, spare and haunting keyboard! A truly stunning song.

That's right. BRILLIANT........💎💎💎
This is also my most favourite song of D-Day album. You said it right, you just get sucked in. This song evokes something which you can’t explain.
in this song he is talking to himself aswell as the newer idols who have a hard time also the older one. telling them it´s okay to rest and don´t beat yourself up everything will be fine.
Beautiful reaction.
I listened to D-Day on the drive home from work and I had to pull over during this song I was that overwhelmed.
This song is for his juniors, to those that are coming through the industry behind him, and BTS. It’s to inspire and reassure them.
I was at the Oakland concert and the audience/Army sang Woosung's part. It was truly powerful and emotional
I'm obsessed over this performance. My favourite from the Album.
Thanks always Luke
Besutiful song. Woosung's voice gives me goosebumps...
You NEED to watch his documentary Road to D-Day!!! It's soooo good!!! My fave thing right now is not just this song, but THIS performance of it!
Thank you so much for reacting to this ❤
Quedé impactada con esta canción, sólo la escucho una y otra vez!!!!
the lyrics are so meaningful

This is definitely one of my favourite songs off D-DAY, it is so inspiring and beautiful. I had been hoping for a collab between Yoongi and Woosung ever since I found out they are friends. Perfection!
Ive been obsessed with Woosung for a long while. I would love to see them both perform this live together. SNOOZE is my favorite from D-Day.
Beautiful video by Elissa
Suga is talking to the next generation of K-pop. He talks about how he had no one to turn to and so is mentoring TXT and other younger idols and telling them the road doesn't have to be as hard as it was for him. 💜👀
I saw Mr. Yoongi live in LA. Flew 17h all the way from Germany. Most worth objective waste of money of my life. I will never forget this concert.

DREEAAMMM....💯💃🏽💜
