@@TeddyGreyOSSuga breaking down and crying , safely, in front of ARMY and ARMY supporting by singing for him let him know he was loved and he was ready to go through the door. I’ve never seen someone breakdown from pure emotion like that before. To hear the ARMYs sobbing for, and with, him was very touching. The joyful screams when he made a deep bow and walked through the door smiling made me cry. It was an emotional last few songs on his last concert

Suga met with RyuichiSakamoto not long before he died. He was Suga’s hero. At Suga’s final concert this weekend before enlisting, he sobbed his heart out on stage during this song. He said afterwards that it was the combination of the members in the military attended the concert, some of his sunbaenims were there, and others who he is their sunbaenim, plus he knew he wouldn’t be around for a while now he’s enlisting. This song is written for those who will follow after him. He is a special human and this is a special song.
If you can, watch the documentary Road to D Day about the making of this album. You’ll learn about the man behind the music

Being both Black Rose and Army, to have both Yoongi and Woosung together on this was beautiful and they complement each other so well. I’m glad Yoongi called up Woosung for this. I feel they both went through a lot in the idol world to get where they are which helped Woosung understand the assignment lol. It’s a beautiful song with a beautiful message that gives me goosebumps and causes me to tear up every time. 💜🌹💜

The background piano is played by one of Suga's life idols - Ryuichi Sakamoto who passed away a recently. The part when he says Dream is from one of his earlier songs called "So Far Away". He wrote this song while being in a hospital to tell the aspiring artists as well the youth that it's fine to take a break and rest when deserved. Great song! "The Last" by him is also amazing but probably for the future.
Mr. Suga is a well known producer and composer in SK, so his beats are never disappointing.

This track is actually so emotional and it' is one of the closest song to him
He said in interview that this song is written for his juniors in the industry because it was the words that he wanted to listen when BTS were trainees or not popular because they were kind of outcast that's why he wrote this song for his juniors

This was a song Yoongi wrote for younger idols in the industry. In his episode of Suchwita with Yeonjun and Taehyun of TXT he talked a lot about how when BTS started out they were really the only group at their label so they didn't have anyone to look out for them really except for Bang PD. Being from a small label they had to fight really hard for everything and they actually got ridiculed a lot. So when TXT came along Yoongi made sure that he tried to look out for them be that person that BTS never had. There's a really cute story in there about him bringing them fried chicken. He wrote snooze specifically to tell these artists that it's ok to rest, and that it's ok to not push yourself past your limits. As someone that's been through it all he wants to bring comfort and love to those following behind him and it's incredibly sweet.
The song also has another deep emotional element to it since it features Ryuichi Sakamoto who is a pianist and composer that Yoongi looks up to a lot. He was someone that gave him a lot of comfort and inspiration over the years and Yoongi fortunately got to meet him shortly before his passing.
The clips are all from the SUGA: Road to D-DAY documentary that's on Disney+. If you have a chance it's actually an incredibly good watch and Yoongi has a lot of great insight into his process and the writing of his D-DAY album along with some other fun segments including meeting up with Steve Aoiki, Halsey, Anderson Paak, and Ryuichi Sakamoto. Plus there are some mind blowing live performances of some of his songs. Some of those live performances are uploaded to TH-cam on the BANGTANTV chanel.

Amazing lyrics. He just finished his world tour and yes, the announcement of his enlistment just dropped today. This is a song he wrote for his younger musician peers. Yes, it is like a mantra: repeating it so many times makes the difference. The more you say it, the more you believe it. If you listen D Day album from beginning to end you understand it is a healing journey and all the emotions he has had during this 10 plus years.

Woosung is the perfect choice for the chorus on this. His voice is so full of emotions like he usually is in The Rose which exactly compliments the pain and all other emotions conveyed by Yoongi's verse. It makes this song all the more personal and genuine all the way. This is a masterpiece. 🥹💜🥀🖤

This song is so emotional impactful live I sobbed deeply. In his last concert on tour Suga/AgustD just sobbed while doing the last bit. The piano part is played by his all time musical inspiration Sakamoto (Grammy award winning composer) who made this song with Suga as his last song but died of cancer a week before the album was released. This song is in honor of Sakamoto and for all artists who need to hear these words. It’s his best song and his songs are amazing so it’s a high bar. I can’t love this enough but Woosung is perfect absolutely perfect on the chorus.
Start with a rapline song for BTS like Outro:Tear (do the live version with English subs I’ll link below) or the four Cyphers, maybe Ugh with the explination video after (it’s needed to get nuisance of song).

  • @nomijm13
    @nomijm13 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +55

you NEED to hear “Outro: Tear”!
This is a sad rap. So much emotion in their verses if you understand the reason behind the song.
Suga produce this when they were considering disbandment few years back. BTS lyrics are always poetic especially RM's verses because he is a POET. He's a book-lover who delivers his message through poetry THROUGH RAP. We call him the philosopher who raps for a reason. He always uses literary elements to deliver his message indirectly.

Suga is my fav member in BTS. His songs just click with me: The last, Polar nights, Snooze, Seesaw, Set me free…
But you asked for recommendations so there they are:
BTS: Blue and grey, Untold thruth, Cypher 3, Outro: tear, House of Cards, Ddaeng
    Jimin: Lie, Alone
    V: Singularity, Stigma
    J-hope: pandora’s box
RM: Reflection, Yun, Change part 2
Off topic: Teddy, I think you are the best reactor I’ve seen so far. I can see you are really passionate about music and I appreciate that you actually pay attention to the lyrics. Which… it should be in the “job description”.
Anyway, thank you for reacting to this. I love this song and I hope more people listen to it.

He wrote this song for his hoobae’s (juniors) kind of as a comfort song. His performance of this at his Seoul concert was extra special because there were multiple newer groups in attendance and they got to hear this song that was written for them🥹
Thank you for reacting to this. I love your BTS reactions and I hope you continue to react because their music helps a lot of people. They are all about positivity and enlightenment. My recommendation would be So What live performance or Dis-ease lyric video💜

Every time I hear the song Snooze I cry hard, this song is very deep, It appears that BTS is different from the rest of the singers or the K-pop idols, this song is directed to the Armys, and they are the band fans, since they are all going to the military, every time I feel like I'm crashing out, I hear this song, It's one of the songs that touch me the most strongly, they are talented, very extraordinary and special.

I don’t know how much you have listened to agust d/suga, but among all the members, I think I gravitate towards him the most just because how raw his lyrics are and the depth of his thoughts. Suga once said that he writes songs to let go of his troubling thoughts and emotions - that it’s like a therapy to him. And I think this is the reason his songs hit different. So raw and powerful and a lot of times relatable.

This song was made for artists who are after them (next generation idols). Because when they were new in the industry, there were no seniors to help them, they had no one to approach for advice. So, Suga wants to help new artists by giving them advices based on his experiences. He doesn't want them to experience those hardships they had before.

I feel like this track has a similar message to Suga’s song Nevermind. As far as him pulling from a place of pain, even Amygdala doesn’t convey as much pain as his song The Last. And Woosung and the Rose became famous for being able to convey these types of emotions. His voice is perfect for it. Of course they have quite a few fun and energetic songs, but what really put them on the map were songs like She’s in the Rain, and Time and Cure.

Is it hard right? I was hoping it would move you when I recommended it. As Woosung starts the chorus it's like the voice of an angel screaming in the distance that was my first feeling when I heard it. Later, I bit into the lyrics and it wasn't so fun anymore. The song is very emotional, but that's what he wanted to hear at the beginning of his career. Thank you Teddy.♥

Great reaction. Suga mentioned that while writing this song, he wondered if he would have suffered less if he had someone telling him the messages in this song when he was a trainee. As someone who knows so well about tough times and suffering, he wishes a lot of junior artists listen to this song and find comfort. And for him to perform this at his own solo concert with junior artists present watching him perform this was just amazing and inspiring.
I hope you do give them a chance and react to more of BTS' music and their solo music too.

The song that pulled me into The Rose was Beauty and the Beast. The first time I heard it, I knew I needed to hear more. Also Woosung’s solo album Moth is really good. Phase Me and Modern Life are stand outs on there for me.

now imagine a live performance, Suga crying his eyes out during his last 28th show of the tour, when all the feelings got to him, and 15 thousand people singing to him ´´everything is going to be OK´´ over and over and over again...just as he was doing to us . The amount of people on Twitter I have seen who got that tattoed on their body ´´everything is going to be OK´´
this song is meant for his juniors in the music industry but I feel like the whole fandom can relate to it on such a deep leel. This guy has such a talent to touch people´s innermost places it´s unreal. It´ s raw, simple and so so beautiful.

On Sunday, August 6th, 2023 he wrapped up his sold out world tour with the most emotionally charged concert. Last song ended, everything on stage went dark, and suddenly the white door from AMYGDALA appeared, he bowed to the crowd, turned over, opened the door and walked right through it with the biggest smile. Then we could read big letters on stage saying "FUTURE'S GONNA BE OK"
Few hours later the label announced his enlistment. He's the next to go, he will soon join j-hope and Jin who are already serving in the military.
The best way to get to know more about him is listening to his music, lyrics at hand.
Agust D (SUGA) has 3 full albums:
    1. Agust D (2016) Released as a free mixtape, no physical album.
    2. D-2 (2020) released as a free mixtape, no physical album.
    3. D-DAY (2023) physical album.
Each album have 10 songs, no skips. He is a musical and lyrical genius.
You can also watch his solo documentary called "Road to D-DAY" basically following him on his album making process.

But this song and it’s lyrics are so damn prophetic, Yoongi is such a beautiful lyricist.

Suga is an amazing artist and had powerful messages in his songs whether it’s references for the haters/ARMY! Would love to see more BTS and AGUSTD reactions because their songs hold strong messages and they are so deep rooted for example the song “Bulletproof:The Eternal” talks about their journey and if they didn’t get a win on their emotional song “I need U” they would disband but our Bangtan boys stayed strong and won and up to yet BTS have 63 daedangs which are equivalent to Grammys and it’s the highest music award in Korea! BTS have come so far and they aren’t ready to give up and with the power and support of ARMY’S!! Please react to more of BTS and AgustD!! Loved your reaction Teddy!!! ❤❤❤

Just a small note that I want to clarify Ryuichi Sakamoto is also part of the song and he is the old man who appears at the end of the video with Suga He is a unique musician He left his mark in the art world with the various types of music he performs And this was his last song before he died Suga considers him as a teacher and inspiration For him and he was very happy when he collaborated with him and the news of his death was really like a thunderbolt on Suga and on ARMy we were really sad + I want to say something else Do not judge an artist just by hearing two of his songs or just because of "his fans" BTS is the best artist in the whole world and whoever does not agree he definitely does not know nothing about them, There is a reason behind their success They did not become the first artist by chance but because they worked hard to achieve that . ARMYs are the best fans and supporters you can see We are the largest fan base in the world,The reason we love BTS is that they are talented in everything they do and they're nice people, they are different from others , They have the largest number of songs of various genres and you listened to ten or less of their songs so u can't say anything cuz u don't know anything i swear
if you want to listen to more "We never forced you or anyone else before to listen to BTS songs just so you know" there are many hip hop and rap songs which are your favorite genre and you will definitely like them bts were hip hop band back then if u didn't know + stray kids are armys too they love bts especially bangchan (leeknow was a backup dancer for them) and they respect them, bts are a role models for them they're their seniors I'm not saying that for any reason I'm just saying to let u know🤷‍♀️ thank u

It's probably just a coincidence (or because they shared a very similar path in BTS), but Suga's line "your success will be your shackles" instantly reminded me of RM's line "When all this fame turned into shackles" in Wildflower. Just from different perspectives. RM talking about his own feelings, while Suga is using it as advice/warning for the younger generation.

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. Amygdala is my fav on the album. But Snooze is my 2nd fav. So catchy. Great vocals. The melody is so good. This song is for anyone who goes after their dream. So yeah it is for other idols too. It's a comfort song. This is a song he wrote for his younger musician peers. He so sweet. Suga samples a part of his older song here. If you can, watch the documentary Road to D Day about the making of this album. You’ll learn about the man behind the music. =0] Suga just finished his encore 3 day concert in Korea on the 6th. He will go in a week or 2. He just filed to end his postponement. He will be the 3rsd BTS member to go to the military. We hope he is able to go to the army and do 18 months like the others. If he chooses civil service instead he will be gone 2 years. Wince. RM will be going soon too. Jimin after him than maybe JK and V. Pls more BTS rapline or solo members. Cyphers 1-4 and cypher medley are a must for the rapline. Louder than Bombs is great too it has rap. =0p Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army 💟

Teddy, I was so wishing you'd react to 'Snooze' after your last video of The Rose. This is such a beautiful and special song dedicated to his younger colleagues, but we can all take something from it too. And I've only today realised that, after all the "Everything will be okay"s, the first word is 'Dream' while at the same time Ryuichi Sakamoto appears on screen. That gave me chills. He was Suga's inspiration and that way we get three generations of musicians in the song and the MV. Music is a continuum beyond the competitiveness of the industry

Honestly this song is and always will be amazing. I love Yoongi so much, and his music holds so much power. It’s been my healing for many years, and I love to think I’m healing WITH him. The scar from Daechitwa and Haegeum as we all know is from his trauma as revealed in Amygdala. Many knew about his crash yet didn’t know how much pain he had to go through including injections and pills as he couldn’t get his surgery at the time. Also the fact he suffered with social anxiety, depression, self-hatred & OCD. him saying ‘Everything will be okay’ over and over just made me break down, it really will be okay in the end. Dream. ♥️

Min Yoongi´s art is insanely complex ....and I mean complex.
If other singers and rappers create songs and tunes about linear events with aim to hype you or make you chill and happy, this guy does total opposite. He is here to teach you a lesson, take it or leave it.
He gives himself to us to get help on his own healing journey ( through music) but by doing so he also helps thousands of others, if that makes sense. His poetic story telling builds whole universes where human psyche, trauma healing, past anger management and overcoming trials all play pivotal role. His savage diss tracks are incredible but his utterly unique niche as a rapper lies within his sensitivity and courage with which he navigates and exposes his emotional body. I do not know a better story teller than Min Yoongi.
He doesn´t please anybody, he doesn´t spare anybody, he rips you apart with his merciless honesty but he is also the most incredible healer and life coach. He is a teacher I never knew I needed. He composes music so magical I want to weep when I listen to it.
The last day of his world tour ended two days ago in Seoul and what we witnessed there must have been the most authentic, raw, emotional and powerful musical performance one can wish for.
I am hoping that when his military service is over, he will continue to bless us with his incredible music, because I do not know anybody who would be capable of filling his shoes. Nobody out there like Suga, nobody like AgustD, nobody like Min Yoongi.
