Oh you have pinched our sunshine, in n.s.w. It has been raining for what feels like forever. I have fond memories of sheep’s parsley, buttercups, blue bells, I spent the first 27 years of my life in Norfolk u.k. now resides in Australia, now 72 enjoying your lessons Cate.
Hello June.. What a lovely picture you have of your memories, thank you so much for your lovely comment :)
Extremely perfect. Such delightful tutoring
Oh what a lovely comment… thank you 🙏 😊
If dandelions were hard to grow we would all want them in our gardens. Love these art lessons, I have been inspired to try painting big
You’re so right! Thank you 🙏
Butter cups and daisys we all jump up.
Thank you …I loved the bouncing between acrylic and watercolors… keeps me focused and that’s exactly how I work at least 3 projects going on at once , can’t wait for the next video
Wonderful! I’m so glad you enjoyed it.. 😊
Beautiful! 😄
Thank you! 😊
I live in Canada. In April we have a wonderful brief period every year where the leaves and grass start coming back and everything very suddenly goes from brown to bright green. We're now fully into dandelion season. I love them too! That yellow is one of my favourite colours. We'll get buttercups a bit later.
How lovely… there is definitely something about the colour yellow that lifts our spirits 💛☀️💛
Good morning Cate, thank you for your teaching today. I am doing my daily challenge while listening and watching you. I really appreciate your watercolor wisdom as I enjoy watercolor, however I have found it very challenging. I have not been able to get into our wild flower garden as my walking with my walker is 😊difficult on our lawn to the. Path my daughter has made through our small sparsely wooded area. We call it “Ditzy Woods”. We have, various Ferns, Jacob’s Ladder, Lung Wart, Lilly of the Valley. We have filtered sunlight in the garden. I hang a piece of my art in the garden done on outdoor wood painted in acrylic and sprayed with a protective product. Take care😻
Hello Janet, thank you so much for your wonderful comment. I love the mood of filtered sunlight, and you’ve captured the mood perfectly. Watercolour can be challenging indeed, but it’s such a lovely medium and well worth the effort. With love… 🥰
Hi it is winter in NZ and i am doing Autumn leaves and late roses for my doodle challenge. I am having fun doing artist grade coloured pencils. Paint big is a new idea, must try it. Regards Anne.
I love autumn too, with all the changing colours 🧡… thank you 🙏
Ooh, isn't one of the prompts for you daily doodle challenge "wild"? I have a cunning plan...LOL
Oh I do like a cunning plan! 🥰
Did you make this sketchbook?
I made the larger sketchbook at the beginning of the tutorial, but the hard back sketchbook I bought from Daler Rowney 😊
Love your teaching style - Thank You!
You are so welcome! 🙏
I thoroughly enjoy your videos. 🫶 I never would have considered using wallpaper liner for watercolors. Thanks for sharing!
You are so welcome! 🙏
