      I am just starting watercolours and like how you filmed your process-and your video edits! Hehe.
      AND I took advantage of your Skillshare offer, too.
      Cheers, from Toronto
      P.S.- Thanks for all the watercolour links! You have saved ME time for more painting!

    Thankyou Louise that was so enjoyable to watch on this 38 deg day which is just not condusive to any kind of painting. I'd love to see you do more drawing, its so important to get it right before painting..I dont use computers or change things (but of course thats my choice, we are all different), I just like to paint the photo as it comes out. Is it possible for you to do some demo on wrinkles and folds at some stage please or do you have to be on Patreon to make requests? Its a shame you dont get quality painting time its what you are all about. Please dont give up TH-cam....and if you ever give up painting (as if!!!) you would make an awesome comedien...you have me in stitches sometimes and my hubby tells me I dont have a sense of humour....well lady all I can say is you make my day. Thank you 🤗🥰🤗

    Lovely video as always, Louise, thank you! I think a "cuddle study" sounds like fun :) When you do your sketches, do you trace any outlines from the photo to get started, or do you simply observe the image and work freehand to reproduce it as a drawing? Sketching like that is another unique talent which must take quite some time to develop!

    • @LouiseDeMasi
      @LouiseDeMasi  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Lydia, Thank you very much. A cuddle study does sound like fun! I work free hand when I do a drawing like this because I enjoy drawing and I need to continually sharpen my drawing skills. I find if I stop drawing for a while it takes some time to get back to my usual standard. It's a bit like exercising - if I stop - I become unfit quickly.
