About superbrain: How much time did you spend on those tecniques? Because frankly it took me 2 weeks to use them properly but when I had to study for an oral test (I'm in high school) 2 months after I finished the course I studied 20 pages in less than an our.
Idea was never to say that techniques won't work Memory techniques work to remember stuff But to market it as learning any skill faster is evil Selling these generic techniques for $349 was evil So techniques work bro, he has given techniques to learn big paragraphs but that's just repitition. That still won't apply on various things in maths My problem was, that course should have been marketed as "Memory course" Rather than "Learning how to learn" And also at lower price because things that you got are easily available on TH-cam We as humans are biased to think that free information won't work if you put a price tag, suddenly that becomes a valuable knowledge

Yes , even the clean image that mindvalley has creates a illusion that what we are getting is out of this world and will give you "superpowers" I could have mentioned the research studies too, that will help you to grow your brain capabilities but that would have made the video lengthy and boring, so I would just make a separate videos on that topic
Okay in his book he refers speed reading and one of the techniques is by using a finger to read as it increases the speed It works but there are better ways to get it done 🙂

You can say it's overpriced , but you can't say it won't work ...you said you tried to remember physics formulas.!! Dude physics is a highly conceptual subject where understanding is more important.. But in subjects like biology you can apply what Jim says ,. Especially visualization worked for me in every topic!!! Peg method etc., It's all about how you take and apply it... I also did super reading and my speed on avg increased from 280wpm to 680wpm in technical subjects like bio .. reaches up to 750 wpm in novels .. what he says is scientific... Hero genius legend by Robin sharma is extraordinary!! I can't imagine how productive I am now ... 3 scenes technique of Silva helped me to achieve my goals !!!! One most important thing I learned is BELIEF ... BELIEF+ rituals+ meditation+ visualization+ working towards it makes you engaged in what you do.... Its all in your MIND ....YOU JUST UNLEASH IT!!!!
But i also think it's gold plated, because if you say that this will help you learn faster that's wrong it's totally memory game and memory course And those techniques are available outside so it doesn't make any sense to me
What I've seen is most of the self help content is repetitive and really if you see 5-10 videos or read a few of books you will see the pattern. Their target customer base is mostly teenagers and young adults who are looking for the secret or looking for some kind of life hack/trick/shortcut. (it may be older people as well). Most often the answers that we are looking for are the ones that are right in front of our eyes but the most boring ones. For eg working hard for a considerable period consistently for getting good at something.
They are very good. I've attending ferocity, silva, be extraordinary, speed reading. They helping a lot. I think you people judging too quick based on one course.
Content on mindvalley is good and that content can be attained for free on the internet or buy more affordable courses on other websites. I can relate to you as I also took SUPERBRAIN and as I am also a learning enthusiast, I felt like I already knew many things they said but for a person completely new it may seem a wonder but that information is not new it"s been there for decades or even centuries
Just do the free courses online, there is great benefit in the courses. Learning is never a waste I'm sorry you were duped but they are still good courses so please anyone who is reading this don't be discouraged from doing the FREE courses.

I definitely don't think that not on Mindvalley you have to use your own discretion in life. At the end of the day they are trying to make money and these teachers have worked hard on proven formulas so I see nothing wrong in them capitalising on that. I think if they are mentoring some of the most super successful in the world obviously you know what you are talking about, I'd also charge top dollar. Robin Sharma teaches the importance of discipline and the importance of structure. I took the free class in speed reading and I am getting through a book a week. I want to do the course about money next. Marisa Peer is a great teacher as are so many others. These people have success outside of Mindvalley. If I had the money I don't think I would buy the courses but rather all the books each and everyone of these people have written because their knowledge is making a HUGE difference through their own brands and many of us are learning about them via Mindvalley. This is such a difficult time in history I think this platform is saving lives I know it is mine. I encourage people to take the free classes there is so much benefit if you do put the work in and apply that to your life. There is no magic formula in life and I don't think that's what Mindvalley is trying to say.
My idea is, people who got super successful like Elon Musk as they show in their marketing There no mentoring was going on, Elon Musk himself tweeted that , Jim Kwik was just talking, next here with online course they aren't mentoring anyone, it's just a pre recorded videos Next even if you are consuming this for free, you might be wasting your time. If you ask me everyone knows what they are going to tell you because I have experimented with myself and let’s just say I don’t need other people to motivate me and guide me... And as a practitioner of meditation(not on a big level just a small self reflection of myself at the end of the day and see what I did today and how can I improve upon it) this one act actually help me remember a lot of thing in coming days because even after a busy schedule I paid attention to what I did because we forget what we did yesterday if we don’t reflect upon it once.... And this comes from my own mind no guru helped me with this....

I understand what you say, I was considering spending the money, but I feel it would be more worth it, if the cost was like a Netflix subscription, or if one could share the content...though people in my family might not really 'get it'! I think how their programs work is that they are motivational teachers....that sometimes people need pushing to make the efforts to make breakthroughs into new realms of experience. Developing esp and psi are not easy, but may not be impossible. Thank you for your thoughts. Yes, what Jim Kwik teaches can be read about in books....he put in the practice to perform those memory feats.....you have to have the motivation to use what you learn and take the next steps. Mindvalley's main TH-cam channel was terminated for violating the community guidelines; only their talks channel is still up 👍(They'll probably be back) I also heard somewhere that Mindvalley's Silva Ultramind Quest was almost word-for-word identical to a Silva Ultramind System book by someone else...if that's true then people are paying $99 a month for Vishen to read a $40 book to them...you can't even buy individual quests anymore you need to buy the subscription
@@BrainHax I think it's because they did not have the knowledge of all of these things prior, so they feel it is something new that Vishen is giving them, even though it's not. The teachers are high quality. The problem I have is that Vishen does not keep his marketing promises. He says you can get a refund, but does not actually do the refund. He also makes it very confusing to know the exact steps in one of the refund scenarios. I mean he uses techniques that would trick the average person. An ethical business does not need to use tricks and should always honor their promises. Add to that, customer service refuses to reply if you want the refund you were promised. The information is good. You can get most of it elsewhere. I just feel my skin crawl to buy it from a company that does not honor their word.
Mindvalley is heavy on sales and marketing. They want you to buy, buy, buy. Which annoys me and I've reported it. I don't like being sold more stuff when I'm in the portal and can't find what I purchased through all the upsell. But I will say, all, of the courses I have taken were very good.

Yes, there are courses in mindvalley that wreck havoc in my life because it didn't fit me. I really like seeing videos like this bacause it is scary just seeing the good things in a product. There are also courses that made a difference in my life like Jim Kwik's who is in your thumbnail and video. I also would like to add that some of the authors on mindvalley has books and courses that are more expensive. High five I also reported the same thing to mindvalley, as of now I think it is taken down.

Are audience getting all the things they expected from the course ?" "Is it worth for the money? "Is the knowledge sold in the course applicable in real world ?" At this point of time ,I would tell everyone to stop buying courses on productivity , mindset, intuition and anything which is not a sold skill like editing ,graphic designing , management , coding , sketching, animation and the list goes on and on For productivity there some smalls tricks you can use ,which are available on many youtube channels and Ali Abdaal is one of them If we talk about problem solving , it comes with some level of understanding in one subject Engineer is a problem solver , because he has understanding in his subject , Doctor is a problem solver because he has understanding in his subject Ones you gain specific knowledge and understanding in certain subject you'll be that problem solver Clearing exams like JEE, NEET ,you just need practice

Jim Kwik has some good idead though. Some things are exaggerated or regurgitated ideas from someone else but I like a lot of his memorization techniques

I have a video planned for how learn technical skills like mathematics fast ,so maths requires understanding of fundamentals and so part of it is memory but you require more visualisation skills ,what Jim Kwik gives is tricks to remember words , which are too slow , you would rather remember faster by writting those formulae and derivations again and again

Vishen is a money maker. He manages to turn the most spiritual subjects into a profitable class that so many other mindful people teach for free just for the sake of helping others. He’s anything but an altruistic man. I met him personally and I didn’t like what I felt. But that was just my intuition.
You should not defame an institution just because one of the courses did not work for you . I too took the super brain course and it is working wonders in my life . Somethings work and somethings don't but you can't generalize the experience for everyone . What a ill mentality !

Brother, thanks for opinion, but the point is that, knowledge that they sell in the course is not even worth $10 or because it's generic So suppose your skill is painting, your focus should be investing in that skill, Your mindset, mental and physical health are just the supplements which you can improve easily, by either gaining knowledge about it or by consulting good trainers, psychologists, doctors in case you have any issue, but these courses are just waste of time

They often don't really give the money back. They did not for me even though it was within the given time frame and rules. Look at their rating on U.S. Better Business Bureau. It is a D+. That is almost the lowest grade possible (F) and not at all common for an even remotely honest business. Many people were told they would get their money back, but they don't. That is not honest and not worth the risk at some point.
I just couldn't help myself from reading some comments and replies, and I saw that comment section is somewhat active. So I decided to invest my time in writing something here. I don't know what potential value addition these mindvalley and other similar courses actually have in our lives. But after listening to number of motivational speakers, I can advice you that don't fall for such so called motivational gurus. I believe that our Vedas contain answers to everything. Upanishads, Bhagvad Gita, Bramhasutras, Patanjali Yogasutras, Drig-drisya-viveka, etc books contains the highest philosophy. I did no accept our ancient wisdom without question. I have thought about them critically and I have always found answers that satisfied my logical thinking. And based upon many such tests and other observations, I can bet that our ancient Indian wisdom is the most profound one. Even science falls backwards, such is the wisdom of Vedas. It took thousands of years to science to discover and prove something that was already written in our Vedas. Few pages of Swami Vivekananda's books is enough to outweigh the likes of Vishen Lakhiani and Jay Shetty. I am not in oppose to listening to motivational speakers, but atleast don't fall for so called motivational gurus. Enroll in certification courses offered by global universities, invest in good books and the best thing you can do is to help someone in need. If you want to listen to some really profound knowledge then listen to authentic doctorates and Psychologists who has spent their lives in discovering something very valuable in terms of knowledge. For example, there is a book called 'You are not your brain' by Dr. Jeffrey M Schwartz, you can see videos and read about Positive Psychology - Professor Seligmon. You can listen to Les Brown, really amazing speaker. Our classics are there as well - Bhagvad Gita, Patanjali Yogasutras, Upanishads, Bramhasutras. You can see videos of monks giving lectures on these texts. I am currently listening to Swami Sarvapriyananda. After I have started listening to him, I have never ever saw any motivational speakers. Now those speakers sound very much inferior, because underlying intentions of so called motivational speakers is to lure you in. Not all are such, there are many authentic motivational speakers as well, like Les Brown, Zig Ziglar, Jim Rhon. In conclusion, don't follow anyone blindly and be extra cautious before spending money in such things.

I don't know about jim kiwi cource, but i have completed spiritual quest, silva methods, breathwork quest, and definetly those are not generic not available for free. of cource if you dig deep then you may land of one or two fact but not a complete spiritual quests in structured way. The content is good but the business is a scam because they promise refunds they do not deliver and do other scammy things. They are rated a D+ by the US Better Business Bureau. It is almost impossible to get a rating that bad and it only comes from not following through on their word. People are confusing the content of the good teachers with the company promoting them. It's shameful the company does not act in line with the teachings of the experts they bring in. This is not related to the experts. This is the sad practice of the way the business is run.

About superbrain: How much time did you spend on those tecniques? Because frankly it took me 2 weeks to use them properly but when I had to study for an oral test (I'm in high school) 2 months after I finished the course I studied 20 pages in less than an our.

What I've seen is most of the self help content is repetitive and really if you see 5-10 videos or read a few of books you will see the pattern. Their target customer base is mostly teenagers and young adults who are looking for the secret or looking for some kind of life hack/trick/shortcut. (it may be older people as well). Most often the answers that we are looking for are the ones that are right in front of our eyes but the most boring ones. For eg working hard for a considerable period consistently for getting good at something.

I definitely don't think that not on Mindvalley you have to use your own discretion in life. At the end of the day they are trying to make money and these teachers have worked hard on proven formulas so I see nothing wrong in them capitalising on that. I think if they are mentoring some of the most super successful in the world obviously you know what you are talking about, I'd also charge top dollar. Robin Sharma teaches the importance of discipline and the importance of structure. I took the free class in speed reading and I am getting through a book a week. I want to do the course about money next. Marisa Peer is a great teacher as are so many others. These people have success outside of Mindvalley. If I had the money I don't think I would buy the courses but rather all the books each and everyone of these people have written because their knowledge is making a HUGE difference through their own brands and many of us are learning about them via Mindvalley. This is such a difficult time in history I think this platform is saving lives I know it is mine. I encourage people to take the free classes there is so much benefit if you do put the work in and apply that to your life. There is no magic formula in life and I don't think that's what Mindvalley is trying to say.

I also heard somewhere that Mindvalley's Silva Ultramind Quest was almost word-for-word identical to a Silva Ultramind System book by someone else...if that's true then people are paying $99 a month for Vishen to read a $40 book to them...you can't even buy individual quests anymore you need to buy the subscription

The teachers are high quality. The problem I have is that Vishen does not keep his marketing promises. He says you can get a refund, but does not actually do the refund. He also makes it very confusing to know the exact steps in one of the refund scenarios. I mean he uses techniques that would trick the average person. An ethical business does not need to use tricks and should always honor their promises. Add to that, customer service refuses to reply if you want the refund you were promised. The information is good. You can get most of it elsewhere. I just feel my skin crawl to buy it from a company that does not honor their word.
Mindvalley is heavy on sales and marketing. They want you to buy, buy, buy.

I have a video planned for how learn technical skills like mathematics fast ,so maths requires understanding of fundamentals and so part of it is memory but you require more visualisation skills ,what Jim Kwik gives is tricks to remember words , which are too slow , you would rather remember faster by writting those formulae and derivations again and again
I thought it has some good ways for remembering the formulas...

Vishen is a money maker. He manages to turn the most spiritual subjects into a profitable class that so many other mindful people teach for free just for the sake of helping others. He’s anything but an altruistic man. I met him personally and I didn’t like what I felt. But that was just my intuition.
You should not defame an institution just because one of the courses did not work for you . I too took the super brain course and it is working wonders in my life . Somethings work and somethings don't but you can't generalize the experience for everyone . What a ill mentality !

Here I would simply mention , anything that's marketed as 'A' and what you provide is less than that is somewhat a scam for me
It was marketed as "Learning skills faster in half time" and what I got was Memory ,that's it
It should have been marketed as memory courses
And whatever techniques shown are not new and groundbreaking
Compare same course with Wim Hoff and KneesovertoesGuy courses ,these guys have put in their life's work into their processes and they are teaching that
And now if you see ,Jim Kwik's techniques which are easily available on internet , you'll get it's not worth $349

Asking for money back would have taken you a lot less time than making this video.
They often don't really give the money back. They did not for me even though it was within the given time frame and rules. Look at their rating on U.S. Better Business Bureau. It is a D+. That is almost the lowest grade possible (F) and not at all common for an even remotely honest business. Many people were told they would get their money back, but they don't. That is not honest and not worth the risk at some point.

I just couldn't help myself from reading some comments and replies, and I saw that comment section is somewhat active. So I decided to invest my time in writing something here.
I don't know what potential value addition these mindvalley and other similar courses actually have in our lives. But after listening to number of motivational speakers, I can advice you that don't fall for such so called motivational gurus.
I believe that our Vedas contain answers to everything. Upanishads, Bhagvad Gita, Bramhasutras, Patanjali Yogasutras, Drig-drisya-viveka, etc books contains the highest philosophy. I did no accept our ancient wisdom without question. I have thought about them critically and I have always found answers that satisfied my logical thinking. And based upon many such tests and other observations, I can bet that our ancient Indian wisdom is the most profound one. Even science falls backwards, such is the wisdom of Vedas. It took thousands of years to science to discover and prove something that was already written in our Vedas. Few pages of Swami Vivekananda's books is enough to outweigh the likes of Vishen Lakhiani and Jay Shetty.
I am not in oppose to listening to motivational speakers, but atleast don't fall for so called motivational gurus. Such people are doing their business, you are getting your brain washed and giving huge amount of money also. If you have hundreds of dollars to throw, then invest it in yourself instead. Enroll in certification courses offered by global universities, invest in good books and the best thing you can do is to help someone in need. If you want to listen to some really profound knowledge then listen to authentic doctorates and Psychologists who has spent their lives in discovering something very valuable in terms of knowledge. For example, there is a book called 'You are not your brain' by Dr. Jeffrey M Schwartz, you can see videos and read about Positive Psychology - Professor Seligmon. You can listen to Les Brown, really amazing speaker. Our classics are there as well - Bhagvad Gita, Patanjali Yogasutras, Upanishads, Bramhasutras. You can see videos of monks giving lectures on these texts. I am currently listening to Swami Sarvapriyananda. After I have started listening to him, I have never ever saw any motivational speakers. Now those speakers sound very much inferior, because underlying intentions of so called motivational speakers is to lure you in. Not all are such, there are many authentic motivational speakers as well, like Les Brown, Zig Ziglar, Jim Rhon.
In conclusion, don't follow anyone blindly and be extra cautious before spending money in such things.

Do you know how much personal coaches charge? They literally tell you things you know but hey, not many people practice it. Same thing with therapists. But discrediting it to this length is a reach
Yes I know they charge alot and I am not saying all personal coaches are legit .
But a good therapist/ good personal trainers can solve a lot of problem than these courses , watch other criticism videos on mindvalley , especially one that's on the fitness course

tThe courses and teachers are fine. The business is a scam. THAT is why they have a D+ rating at BBB Better Business Bureau. What a shame that a business that sells helping type products lies in their pitches and does not honor their promises about refunds. Customer support never replies back. Imagine how it must feel to run a business like that, to take people's money in that way. What a complete conflict to the teachers whose products they sell. This is not the way to run a business. Honesty matters.

I don't know about jim kiwi cource, but i have completed spiritual quest, silva methods, breathwork quest, and definetly those are not generic not available for free. of cource if you dig deep then you may land of one or two fact but not a complete spiritual quests in structured way.
But ofcource, if you expect more, you will be dissapointed.

346 dollars that got me thinking I was offered it over $100. Ahh its was a special offers for early birds. I agree it is very expensive plus these ideas and techniques are available in the internet but even if I know the facts that it is available online I will still buy it if I have the money. Why? To save time. It took me years to discover mind palace and being tricked by bagus tutorials. But the fact the all these is served in a silver plater with great organization and easy access. The content is good but the business is a scam because they promise refunds they do not deliver and do other scammy things. They are rated a D+ by the US Better Business Bureau. It is almost impossible to get a rating that bad and it only comes from not following through on their word. People are confusing the content of the good teachers with the company promoting them. It's shameful the company does not act in line with the teachings of the experts they bring in. This is not related to the experts. This is the sad practice of the way the business is run.
